The hotel smelled like marijuana and bad order.
This hotel is a homeless shelter. They have some seriously trashy people here. Making tons of noice (mental health issues) non stop odor of marijuana olin non-smoking hotel. Called desk 3 times at 3:00am due to the stomping noises from overhead. Never stopped. I asked if the front desk person if they were putting up homeless people. She said I’d have to ask the manager. I told her that if the answer was no she would have just said that. Do not stay here. Seriously, when you drive into town on I-5 and see the people in all the tents along the road imagine sleeping in a bed they slept in at this hotel, and now you get to sleep here. They need to tell people if the place is a homeless shelter for drug addicts. Such a shame.
The room was dirty, sheets smelled horrible. They did not clean our room
They staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was nice and comfortable.
It's a good place to stay for one night. Good city to discover
I attempted to check in using the Orbitz info that needed to be updated and was denied being allowed to jus
Location was ok. Not too noisy. Construction made finding the entrance difficult
The deluxe 2 queen room was very nice, new, and mostly clean. What we did not like was hearing a woman in a nearby room calling for help and “stop!” You could hear a big altercation going on. Long story short, police were called, the woman being threatened ran away so the police could do nothing about the very angry, violent, and vile guest right near us. The staff was slow to respond to the issue. They offered to move us to a different room, but who wants to stay in a hotel that doesn’t kick out the man we just heard beating his girlfriend and threatening my daughter and I? We left in the middle of the night. It was a terrible experience. While the hotel can’t be blamed for the abusive man, the 2 staff members available did nothing to deal with him. I would never step foot in that hotel again.
The breakfast each morning was very good with many choice although the hot water for tea was not hot. The facilities had a few issues. The first morning, the power in the entire facility turned off but for only a minute or so. Also, when we walked to our room, there was a large cut-out in the wall to expose a large pipe.
Very convenient free parking good breakfast. Nordic center only 4 minutes away
It was a newer and clean place to stay. If all you're looking for is a nice sleep, I recommend it.
The hotel has been renovated, however there was not a lot of thought given to room layout and design. The shower door didn't allow you to move one panel making it difficult to turn the shower on without being inside the shower stall. There also is not shelf to put the soap or shampoo bottles on. The toilets don't flush fully. In the hallway they have tiles, which allow you to hear everyone walking past your room.
This property has been recently renovated and is close to Washington Square. For the price point, this is a very nice hotel. My daughter lives in Tigard, and we would absolutely stay here again.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My only issue was the door-opener cards....I had to ask for help almost every time. (but each person kind about it) The location is great for every activity and visit that I had planned over my 4 day/3 night mini vacation.
What a great property. Freshly updated and friendly staff. One wish was to have a waffle maker!
Te location was great. The staff was nice. The water temperature was just warm and had low pressure.
There were pubic hairs in the shower when we got into the room, and the bathroom fan was broken so it was extremely loud, one of the light switches didn't work in the bathroom, and the fridge turned off in the middle of the night spoiling our kids food. Other than that we liked it. Beds and pillows were super comfy.

I am sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations on your recent stay. I would like to say that we are not a homeless shelter for drug addicts. I will say that we have had lower than normal prices due to market demand and so more people can afford to stay in hotels if they choose. However, we do properly vet all potential guests and only accept those with valid ID and card payment. Unfortunately not all guests are as courteous with their attire or noise level but we do try to ask anyone to keep it down once the front desk hears or is made aware. While we are indeed a non-smoking hotel it is still legal in the state of Oregon to smoke both Tabaco and Marijuana products as long as it is at least 10 feet from a building and we try our best to ask guests to use only designated smoking areas.

I am so sorry that your room was not cleaned. There must have been a miscommunication with our housekeeping crew. I will have a chat with everyone so we can minimize these in the future.
They staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was nice and comfortable.
So glad you enjoyed your stay! I am glad you found us friendly and helpful. We will save you another of our comfortable rooms for your next stay!

Great! We are glad you enjoyed it and found Tigard a good city to discover!

I am sorry you encountered an issue with Orbitz on your reservation. Our policy states that we must only check in a guest if the name on the reservation matches the ID and payment card presented at check in. This helps protect our guests information and reservations from fraud. I am glad our staff was able to make you another reservation though and I hope everything else was good with your stay.

Glad to hear the location was ok for you. I am sorry you had trouble finding the entrance. I am not sure what construction you speak of but I will take note of the entrance not sticking out enough and see what we can do. Thanks for the feedback.
Thank you for leaving a review!
Thanks!
I am so sorry that your floor smelled like marijuana during your stay. Unfortunately it is legal to smoke in the state of Oregon as long as it is more than 10 feet from the building and the smell tends to follow those who smoke. I will, however, remind my staff to make sure they are doing their best to air out the corridors and elevator.
