We always stay at the Mecure when visiting Port Macquarie. It is slightly more expensive than surrounding motels BUT it is certainly worth it. The staff are so friendly, helpful and make you feel at home. Chris the manager is so personable as well as being good to his staff as they all appreciate him as their boss which shows through in the positive vibe around the building. Whilst we were staying at the Mecure during this recent trip the carpet was being replaced in the common area hall ways. It was good to see the improvements being made. It was a slight inconvenience but the new look was lovely. The restaurant is also excellent and is run by a real professional. Colin is good fun but takes his job seriously. I couldn't recommend the Mecure Centro highly enough. From the minute you are welcomed at reception and for your entire stay everything just flows. Thank you to Chris, Kody, Colin and all the staff

Stayed here for one night for work. The bed was very comfortable. Considering I stayed at the Novotel in Coffs Harbour which is supposed to be one brand higher than Mercure the beds here were much more soft and comfortable. Overnight parking at $10. Great location close to town. Will stay here again at my next visit

What do u think Well 42 days, 10500 km, 5 states, staying in 20 cities, stopping and visiting over 50 cities. . Sydney for our last 2 nights. All has been wonderful.. everywhere and everyone has been perfect. Until..,,,,,,.,,,,,,, This one Hotel. I have had to write this...? Lets see what they're response will be. Dear Management, I am absolutley horrified and appalled of the disturbance early this morning, and your decision to put myself in a hiighly cost king deluxe room on a floor that you have decided to lift all the carpets up in the hallways and workman bashing and clanging disturbing any rest. More so horrified that no notification was given that this disturbance was going to happen at all. And your inconsideration to your guests, I am sure there are or were many other rooms on other levels available. I am even more horrified of the attitude of your desk staff that when I complained his answer was...I quote it is what it is and nothing can be done about it and I have told him and thats it. As an accor member for 6 years and after travelling around europe staying in accor and on my current journey staying with Accor group hotels in Alice Springs, Mt Isa, Brisbane? Your hotel has the worst attitude. I have taken photos of the floor, and I will be taking this complaint further unless I receive a full apolizy. This is not acceptable. Had a wonderful room on 5th floor. Very spacious room with king size bed and large bathroom with spa bath. The balcony had great views over the town and plenty of space to relax. Hotel is well located to the center of town with friendly staff and both garage and street parking.

We were staying at the hotel whilst attending a wedding. Although we were away from our room for 3.5 hours on Sat morning, our room was not serviced. We then had to have showers and get ready for the wedding. House keeping could not work around our needs as guests to service the room. Management stated rooms are only serviced between 9am and 1pm and they prefer to do it around lunchtime. What about when the guest needs it done?? They had all morning to do it. In addition the bar does not open until 5pm. Doesn't state that anywhere - not even on website. No apology from management regarding poor service.

The rooms are great, let me start that this is a nice place to stay, the pool is great, close to business centre of town. I have stayed a few times, and always leave a little disappointed. My last trip they asked for additional $ to park my car which hasn't happened previously, and I guess it's these little negative surprised which bug me as a business traveller. I want it to be comforting, friendly and consistent, and that's why I feel it is not quite!

the room smelled strongly of mold, from wet carpet i guess. the couch was very dirty and the bedside light was falling off the wall. we would have expected better from the Mecure group. we were told there was only 1 room left a spa room at $240 per night... a thursday night off season... i don't think so. we are rethinking any future stays at any mecure as our sydney stay the next day was also very average.

We enjoyed a beautiful suite with large spa. Very spacious room and balcony with outdoor area a bonus. Bed was extremely comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and enjoyed a beautiful meal with excellent service. This hotel has a lovely pool area however as we only stayed one night and went out to explore the city we did not utilise the pool. Breakfast was a continental buffet; simple but plenty to eat. Cooked menu was an option but we only wanted a light breakfast. This hotel is close to everything, shops, waterfront etc. Highly recommend for a good value, comfortable stay when in Port Macquarie.

This Hotel is centrally located. Nice room - but matresses "sat in: and hard to sleep without falling out. They need to turn matresses regularly or replace. Restaurant for breakfast was excellent, good service. In - house parking was great.

My husband and I often stay at this hotel, unfortunately usually only for one night. Staff are so friendly and helpful, including tge bar and restaurant staff. The hotel is centrally located. Noise level is very low allowing for a good night's sleep.
