We enjoyed a beautiful suite with large spa. Very spacious room and balcony with outdoor area a bonus. Bed was extremely comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and enjoyed a beautiful meal with excellent service. This hotel has a lovely pool area however as we only stayed one night and went out to explore the city we did not utilise the pool. Breakfast was a continental buffet; simple but plenty to eat. Cooked menu was an option but we only wanted a light breakfast. This hotel is close to everything, shops, waterfront etc. Highly recommend for a good value, comfortable stay when in Port Macquarie.

This Hotel is centrally located. Nice room - but matresses "sat in: and hard to sleep without falling out. They need to turn matresses regularly or replace. Restaurant for breakfast was excellent, good service. In - house parking was great.

My husband and I often stay at this hotel, unfortunately usually only for one night. Staff are so friendly and helpful, including tge bar and restaurant staff. The hotel is centrally located. Noise level is very low allowing for a good night's sleep.

One nights stay. Spotlessly clean, but dated room: spacious, carpet seen better days, scratched paint work, TV and cabinetry in excellent condition, very comfortable double bed. Convenient location. Many good restaurants and port area a short walk away. Purchased smorgasbord breakfast with accommodation, which was great value; had an excellent made-to-order omelette. Excellent staff. Didn't use the pool.

Stayed just one night at Mercure Centro enroute to Lord Howe Island. Reception was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed quite soft. There was a little street noise but this didn't bother us. This hotel as it's name implies, is very central. Close to shopping, eateries and town beach. Didn't eat at hotel restaurant apart from continental breakfast, which provided a good tasty selection. Lovely wait staff. Enjoyed our stay.

Stayed with family in school holidays. Staff were fantastic, great customer service skills. Room and facilities clean and comfortable. Lovely pool. Location is walking distance to many pubs, eateries and shopping. Perfect location. Will stay again!

We stayed at the Mercure Port Macquarie overnight on our way up the North Coast. The Mercure is well located in the centre of Port Macquarie. Accomodation standard is excellent and the in house restaurant is good. We were happy with the service and facilities overall. Having to pay $10 per night for parking is not so good but it appears all Accor hotels do this. The same goes for paying a credit card surcharge.

Walls looked like they need a wash...no room service menu in room...bedside lights in your face and glary. Parking very expensive and plenty of free parking on the street right round the corner. Close to shop centre, beach, lovely eating establishments. The deep blu e colour wet edge pool is lovely and on ground floor was right outside. Dont sit in your tiny private balcony if its hot, the large air con unit is loud and very hot. See synergy restaurant for food critique, but had to take myself into the bar to order a real coffee couldnt get it room service. Went to restaurant for breakfast...very basic and expensive. A few lovely cafes just around the corner for breakfast or coffee.

Very comfortable generous rooms, well furnished, good service and very good food. Location very convenient for shops, city beach and the breakwall and to attend the Australia Day celebrations. A pity the restaurant was only open for breakfast that day and surcharge charged for full price not the Advantage Plus rate for breakfast (as we had anticipated). Staff generally very friendly and helpful and lovely to get a fresh cooked breakfast to order.

Stayed here for 1 night only my wife and I found the staff friendly and the room was clean and tidy but slightly tired looking we had a room facing the park with the main road in front which was slightly noisey but not enough to stop you from getting a good nights sleep and the bed and pillows was very soft and comfortable. On our next trip would like to try somwhere new but would still consider staying here again if necessary.
