Mercure Centro Port Macquarie

We stayed here on a short visit to Port Macquarie and found the hotel comfortable and very centrally located. It's next to a small shopping complex with a bakery that has the best pies and terrific coffee. It's also within walking distance to the CBD with more cafes, shops and restaurants. The room was a spa room which was very spacious. I traveled with my parents and there were no adjoining rooms available (we were told there is only 1 spa room on each floor) so they stayed in another room 1 floor above. Although the balcony overlooked the small shopping complex, I found the room quiet. All in all, it's a great hotel and I would stay here again.

Our return stay at this motel was for our wedding anniversary. What a wonderful experience We were checked in by Jess at reception, when she found out it was our anniversary we were given an immediate upgrade to a suite. Wow what a wonderful room, king bed with pillow top was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was amazing, an enormous room with raised spa and large walk in shower. The room also consisted of a separate lounge and dining table with a big flat screen TV. Jess arranged transport to a local restaurant and when we returned there was a congratulations poster and chocolates in our room. She went above and beyond to ensure our trip was one to remember. Great breakfast with made to order eggs. Lock up off street parking and free internet are a bonus. As an Accor member I would recommend this motel to anyone It is spotless, staff are competent and eager to please as well as centrally located.

Getaway weekend with our granddaughter. Comfortable double room. Well appointed. Could use a microwave. Clean clear bright pool we couldn’t keep her out of it! Awesome reception staff on checkin. Downside: toilet area awkward, no writing pad or pen.

This is a simple and clean place to stay overnight. Nothing fancy but rooms are clean and staff are great. I highly recommend eating dinner at the restaurant as the food is amazing and fine dining quality. Location is prefect as it’s in the heart of town.

We often stay at this hotel, it is so central, the staff pleasant and rooms comfortable and clean. A lot of the staff have been working here for a long time, in my opinion, clearly shows the management are doing a fine job.

Booked an overnight stay to break the drive between Sydney and Brisbane. Staff at check-in were professional, friendly, and welcoming. Room was really good - and quiet. Room had plenty of power points - great for those of us who travel with too many devices! We had dinner in the restaurant - and the meal was really good, plus the staff were very efficient. All up - a great stay, and will do it again.

This was one of the worst Hotels for service I have stayed .Room keys didn't work and I had these changed three times I was locked out hotel had to call manager was a nightmare. You could not get a drink till five in the afternoon and it was extreamly hot outside. The manager was not at all interested in the guests point view I gave up was glad when I left and I won't return.

We always stop over Gold to Sydney and back- free security parking under building helps- there is a lift- Very comfortable beds and nice bright room with balcony. Nice luxury feel to bathroom etc and there is very good restaurant for a steak and red wine if you wish. the breakfast spread was very nice with good choices.

Room was clean and large. We booked a deluxe for one night. Complimentary newspapers, coffee vouchers and chocolates. Underground parking was convenient. The pool was open from 7am and solar heated. We were easily able to walk to coffee, shops and water.

Booked through Wotif but somehow the reservation did not show up on arrival at the hotel. The staff were understanding and gave us an upgrade for the same price!! The facilities were brilliant too the only thing missing was a gym but all in all we enjoyed our stay!!
