This property is beautifully decorated in a very central location. My disappointment came with the housekeeping staff. After being there one week, I asked that my room be thoroughly cleaned/made up. As an extended stay guest, I don't expect service every day but I don't think once a week is asking too much. After 2 weeks, I was begging them to change my sheets. Guest services kept apologizing saying they would get it taken care of. I had to leave for a couple to another city and informed them they had three full days with me being gone. When I came back my sheets still had not been changed. At that point a first for me occurred. I started washing my own linens at a hotel. Too bad such a nice property. I won't be back.

This newer property is an excellent hotel. The lobby area is clean and nicely decorated. Front office staff was friendly and helpful. My room was large and beautifully decorated, with a full kitchenette, flat screen TV, and fast WiFi. The bed was super comfortable. Definitely recommended.

We were greeted warmly by the front desk clerk. Our room was not quite ready and we were able to sit in the common area and watch tv for the short time it took to get it ready. The only complaint I have with the room is that the sofa sleeper set too low to comfortably sit on and was terrible to sleep on. Other than that it was fine. Nice and quiet, clean, and the Internet connection was good.

We spent a weekend here with our two grandchildren and enjoyed the spaciousness of a one bedroom suite. For a family, Residence Inns are always a perfect choice. This did not disappoint. We were located on the fourth floor, and although the hotel seemed very busy, we never heard any noise from other guests. The breakfast buffet was ample, and there was plenty of seating. There were no pastries available on either morning, but it was probably best that we chose healthier options anyway. When we arrived, our room safe was not working. It was fixed in about 1-2 hours. Security is extremely important to us, since we have been victims of a hotel burglary and only book a hotel with room safes. I did feel that the quality of bedding on the sofa bed was rather thin, and there was only one pillow provided. We asked for another pillow, and it was delivered promptly. We enjoyed using the pool, as well as the basketball court. Both were kept in very nice condition. I want to give particular praise to the very kind staff at the front desk who were so patient and friendly during our stay.

Wonderful staff, clean and spacious room and a very good breakfast! I never sleep well in a hotel because I can hear everything, but I slept all night here! I was amazed. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

I highly recommend this lodging. Front desk people helpful and friendly. Free breakfast high quality. Room was spotless, very comfortable and housekeeping was invested in customer service. Guest laundry easy to use, laundry soap and dryer sheets available at front desk for nominal charge. I wish I could live there year round!

Needed a place to stay for the evening and didn't want to pay the inner city prices associated with staying in Pittsburgh. This place looked appealing and had good reviews. Hotel staff -- curtious. Facility & Room -- clean. Unfortunately, it appears that seems to be a favorite spot for overnight stopovers for kids sports teams. Pool was crawling with kids until well into the evening, noisy basketball game (including adults trying to relive their youth) continuing onto until way too late into the evening, and a bunch of "sports dads" camping out by the firering with their open case of beer getting obnoxiously louder as the evening went on. Guess if that's your scene -- hey, sounds like a good place to check in for the night. If you want nice place to kick back and relax -- meh -- not so sure. Room was nice and large as was reasonably quiet once the neighbors decided to use their indoor voice to speak to one another -- one bedroom suite with a separate living area and bath/bed room area. Beds -- not so good -- rock hard, possibly fresh from a local quarry (in fact, a stone slab may have been softer). That needs addressed. So, OK -- not great, but not bad. For the lower tier of Marriott's line of hotels, it's about what I would expect. I'd stay again if I needed to, but might look around first to see where else might have availability.

Members of our family came to Pittsburgh for a nephew's wedding. This hotel was in a great location with stores and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were clean and spacious. It is quite obvious that customer service is a priority of the staff at this facility. Kirsten at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. Darlene made breakfast a very plesant experience. Everyone else always smiled and said hello. We loved the kitchen facilities in our room. I will definately stay here again when I am in this area.

Room with kitchen was very nice. However, I wanted a nice bath on arrival as I had strained my back during the trip, only to find no plug function in the bath. They moved me to another room but it took a while. Had afternoon chips and dip for free on arrival. Breakfast was just ok. Are some restaurants and pharmacy opposite, including an Applebees so some good choices. Was put off though by hearing a dog incessantly barking in a room down a corridoor. Hotel, please note that if you allow dogs with poor owners, it will put people off from staying in your hotel. I.e. now that I know this I was not book with you here again! Sorry. Hotels are for people, not animals. Yeh, I know you pet owners will get bent out of shape. But I've had dogs and cats my whole life (and still do). They are a responsibility, so if you want to travel make other arrangements instead of inconveniencing those around you.

This place was very nice. Clean, spacious, and the buffet breakfast was good. The pool was a hit with our 3 year old granddaughter and the patio, with a fire pit was nice, as well. There is shopping and restaurants within walking distance, good location.
