Hotel San Ranieri

Minutes drive from Pisa airport. The hotel has a car park and spaces above ground. It is bright and modern, and the rooms are clean and have a ton of storage. Bathroom was well stocked. Room service was yummy. I needed one night before heading off around Tuscany and this was ideal. Breakfast was decent. Staff really nice.

Rather disappointing hotel really, it certainly doesn't live up to its reviews and is much more garish than designed. The room is ok, the decoration is ok, but it is really just a serviceable budget hotel relatively near an airport. Can't fault the staff who were friendly and informative.

We booked this hotel on recommendations on TA San Ranieri delivers on all counts. The rooms are modern, spacious and squeeky clean. The breakfast enough to feed an army if need be and it is located just 2 mins walk to a bus stop where buses arrive regularly every 9 mins. When once we had to leave early breakfast was available from 5 till 7 in the morning before the restaurant opened. Wifi was available everywhere. The staff, from cleaners to waitstaff to reception to managers were extremely helpful and all spoke perfect English.I highly recommend this hotel to all. We are already looking forward to our next stay at San Ranieri

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel San Ranieri located between airport and Pisa. The room was quite large with all the amenities. It was clean, reasonably priced and the staff was very friendly, spoke English and always willing to help. We were very comfortable. Their buffet breakfast which we had included was great. We did not have a car, but it appeared to have parking around the hotel. They also had a great restaurant called Squisitia, where we dined both nights. I'm not sure there is a lot of options around the hotel for dining. All in all, we would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. I would note, that you are outside Pisa so a cab or bus would be needed to get to Pisa if you don't have a car. The hotel called a cab for us, and it arrived within 5 minutes. It was very easy to get to Pisa (approx. 10 min ride) and visit the sites. The staff did give us instructions(who to call) for a returning cab back to hotel. Unfortunately we forgot to take our cell phones. A big mistake! We did have difficulty getting a cab in Pisa and took over an hour to secure one. We should have taken our cell phones and followed the hotel's instructions. They are there to make sure you have a wonderful visit. It was our only problem, and it was of our making.

We only stayed for one night, but wow! This place ticks almost all the boxes - very reasonably priced, clean spacious and comfy rooms, extremely helpful staff and the buffet breakfast is the best we've seen in a hotel! There was a wide choice of healthy foods (ie flax seeds, Chia seeds and nut yogurts) as well as a variety of cakes :) Our only possible complaints would be firstly that our room was very close to reception and the restaurant so if you plan on sleeping in, maybe ask for a room that isn't on the ground floor. Also the location probably isn't great if you want to be close to the centre of town but it's a quick taxi ride from the airport and train station. It's just a shame we're only staying one night!

We picked this hotel due to its location near the airport which was about 15 - 20 mins drive from the airport. Very modern hotel, easy friendly check in, rooms were ok, but as this was the last night of our holiday in Tuscany we decided to treat ourselves to a junior suite, found the room was of the same size of the standard rooms when we stayed in Florence and Radda, bed was comfy and shower had plenty of hot water. Nice buffet breakfast About 3 mins walk from hotel was a bus stop which you can catch the local bus to the centre of pisa

Great hotel on the outskirts of Pisa town. Friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable and clean rooms (pillows quite hard). The hotel has a very good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast, and is great value, the dining room and outside garden area are very good. There are a couple of bus stops very close by to get into Pisa or the Reception can book taxis for you. We were informed of a local event taking place in Pisa which we thoroughly enjoyed and walked into Pisa on our first night which was about an hours walk, but which we enjoyed. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel as a good place to stay.

We recently stayed overnight with two small children and four adults. Rooms were very tidy and good service from the moment we arrived. We paid the €10 to use the undercover parking, otherwise you could park outside for no charge. Good range of choices for breakfast. We were staying there to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and ended up driving to the Tower as there were no Taxis available at the time which wasn't an issue for us. Within 15 minutes were were parked and a short walk to the main gates. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. (Pillows and mattresses a little on the hard side but for one night this wasn't a concern for us).

Firstly when coming into this hotel we noticed the smell of bleach and cleaning products. The rooms were dark and smelt very clinical like a hospital but at least we knew it was clean. The beds were like sleeping on wooden slats and when I asked for an extra duvet at reception as I have a bad back, they sent someone in the room with a thin cover like my cat sleeps on, so I spent 2 days sleeping on the pillows. Early morning the cleaners were heard from 6am screaming, singing and shouting/ banging doors which woke us up on both days. the hotel is 15 mins drive from the tower of Pisa by Cab but when you order a cab from the hotel they already add 6 Euros on for pick up so this works out costly. Nice breakfast and great Bar outside.

Not far from Pisa airport. They have a shuttle that you can book for 10€. Taxi cost us 12€. Very welcoming staff. Easy check in. Very nice decor. Excellent rooms with Good wifi. You can take city bus from hotel to tower or train station. Food at the hotel is awesome. We had a nice dinner. Huge complimentary breakfast spread with wide variety of pastries, cheese, fruit, omelette etc. Overall a very excellent experience. Would stay here again on my next visit.
