Great location near the airport , funky style and apeals to yojng travelers. The rooms were clean and comfortable . The free breakfast is brilliant a large variety of food is available aswell as proper italian coffee on request. Breakfast starts at 5 am perfect for an early morning flight. They have a resturant inside the hotel which is quite expensive we were only told about their sister resturant on or last night. The resturant is located a stones throw away from the outside garden area. 8 eur for a tuscan pizza and 8euro for a litre of their house wine what more could you want. Definitaly a great place to stay if you have a flight to catch.
I was so close to giving this hotel a 5 out of 5 as service was excellent but a few little things let it down. The beds are little firm but not that hard to spoil our sleep, location is a little out of the way, it’s a good 10 to 15 minute drive into Pisa and a 10 minute drive to the airport. The small mini bar in the room was useful, water, coke and a couple of biscuits. The shower leaked all over the floor, this might have been due to a weak seal or something? I had to place towels on the floor to soak the water up. The TV had a big shortage of English channels and they were hard to find. The lighting in the room was nice and was I would class as mood lighting. The furniture is very futuristic and modern, the lilac addition to the bedding looks cheap and was the only thing that spoilt the look and feel of the room. The Restaurant menu was over complicated and could of benefitted from a simple pasta with an Italian Ragu sauce? A pizza or something simple? We enjoyed what we ate, however I would have preferred something more traditional. Breakfast was your usual continental, coffee was good. I would stay here again as it was good value for money. Most of the hotels in Italy are quite old fashioned with traditional furnishings, this hotels is a refreshing change and looks impressive on a night all lit up, the floating rooms are nice with floor to ceiling windows.
An overnight stay before travelling around Tuscany. Was a little concerned about the distance to the town but needn't have. Reception gave us info on the local buses and we used them without any trouble. Hotel is modern, clean and efficient. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had in a hotel - excellent choice available. Our only gripe was that we could not find any sockets in the room apart from the shaver point in the bathroom. On leaving the room, we discovered a couple which were hidden away in the bedside cabinets, not a great idea really but nothing to get worked up about. Oh, and we couldn't get the tv to work, but again it was no problem for us.
The hotel is located 10 minutes from the airport. Service very efficient and helpful. Room modernly furnished and well cleaned. When booking directly on the hotel website, you get a parking space, water, cola and cookies at no extra charge. Breakfast quite a large selection of dishes, but unfortunately all cold, which reduces the overall breakfast rating. Excellent coffee is served during breakfast. There is also a restaurant in the hotel, but I can not say anything because I did not use it. There is nothing interesting in the area around the hotel, and the main attractions of Pisa are around 15 minutes by car.
We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Very clean and beautiful, the rooms are big and spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped me to organise a nice surprise for my boyfriend's birthday which was a huge success. The hotel is a bit further from the city centre, but with excellent links to the city. The bus stop is only a few meters away. Buses are frequent day and night. If you book the rooms directly with the hotel you get a free welcome drink and free mini bar usage. I highly recommend this hotel, I cannot complain about anything. Thank you!
Very modern and clean, excellent staff, and the price is very reasonable. 15 e taxi from airport, less than 2 e per person bus ride to city center. At least two excellent restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast is good, but avoid the scrambled eggs and American coffee. We stayed there 3 days and made day trips by train to Florence and Lucca. Very much enjoyed our stay
We had an excellent stay here as our Anniversary treat. We upgraded to a suite and were very impressed. From as soon as we arrived reception made us very welcome and let us have the room early.Restaurant staff gave us coffee and cake, which we enjoyed on the lovely terrace in the sunshine. The room was very clean and welcoming.Great bus service into the centere.Lovely quiet hotel with wonderful staff and facilities.Would definitely recommend!!Thankyou.
Stayed in two interconnecting rooms with husband and 3 children as a base for our sightseeing trip. It is very quick to reach from the airport and has good bus links with the centre of Pisa. To use the bus, simply buy bus tickets from the cigarette counter within La Vecchia Cascina pizzeria on the corner of the same street as the hotel, then cross the main road to the bus stop which serves the hospital and catch any bus: 13, 14 or Lam Rossa. When returning to the hotel, any stop with the number 13 or 14 will get you back. Just catch the bus with ‘Ospedale Cisanello’ on it, and that’s basically where the bus route ends and you get off. When you get on the bus, find the validation/stamping machine and validate your tickets. We bought a stack of tickets at a time and used them over a couple of days as we needed them. They become valid only when you stamp them on the bus and remain valid for the next 70 minutes- Plenty of time to complete your journey. If you’re not confident in speaking Italian, you don’t even have to speak to the driver! Breakfast buffet in the hotel was lovely- good selection of food and drink. Our children loved it! We felt very safe here and the staff were helpful. They even lent us umbrellas for the day when our Mancunian weather followed us! Catching the train to Florence from Pisa station is also very straightforward, just be aware that you must also stamp/validate your train tickets in the green machine on the platform before you board the train or you will get fined. There is virtually no signage that tells you to do this so don’t get caught out. If you do visit Florence, please seek out the walk up to Piazzale di Michaelangelo- you won’t be disappointed.
It could be not for everyone, but we were looking for quiet hotel. After reading few revious we decided to book it. Yes it is far from city center, but with good links to city and train station (lines 13,14 and LAM Rossa). Stayed week there. Very good breakfast. You want something, just ask. We did not use restaurant, so cannot say anything about that. When you book directly, you get welcome drink free. The only negative is the choice. You can get Prosecco, or Juice.
This is a very nice hotel with a lot of advantages. It's situated outside the old town but easily accessed with bus or car. It is also very near the airport and the hotel has shuttle bus to reach it. We had our own car and had no problems with finding a free parking space outside the hotel. Very nice staff and large, clean rooms with perfect bathroom. I specially appreciated the handbasin with it´s large surface for putting toilet things. Breakfast is OK but I especially want to recommend the restaurant Enoteca inside the hotel. We had an excellent big coal grilled file steak and a very nice bottle of wine.
