We stayed here for 2 nights on our trip to Pisa & Lucca. A bit away from the city centre but the price reflects the same. Modern hotel. Rooms a bit aged and not exactly reflect the same level of glitz as the photos do. However they were quite spacious and not cramped. Nice breakfast spread. Ginger-lemon detox water at the reception. No coffee maker in the room which I felt was strange. Helpful and good service at the reception. Friendly staff at the restaurant.
Just returned from a 3 day stay. The hotel is about 3 km from the centre of Pisa and is ideal if you have a car. There are plenty of buses serving the hospital ( LAM rossa, 13, 14 and 22 at night) which is almost next door ( every 10 mins weekdays, 30mins Sundays). The reception staff were welcoming and all appeared to speak English. We arrived very early- about 11am but one room was immediately found for us ( we had booked 2) so we were able to drop off our bags. On our return about 3pm the young lady recognised us and handed us our other key without us even having to ask. The rooms on the second floor were spacious and spotlessly clean. Three criticisms of the bedroom however. The bed was really hard and the ledge behind the bed made it very uncomfortable to sit up in bed. The lights were also very difficult to work out. Breakfast was good with hot and cold dishes available as well as fruit , cakes and cereals. Proximity to the airport flight path and the hospital did mean a bit of noise at times so windows are better kept shut. The hotel had a couple of grassed areas suitable for sunbathing. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant in the evening. The shuttle to the airport at the end of our stay was useful and was cheaper than a taxi. An ideal hotel if you don't mind the bus into town.
We stayed here one night to take in the tourist sites prior to our flight home. The reception staff are excellent and provided detailed information about where to get the bus as well as other suggested sites to see. First impressions of the hotel are good, although it is a little space age. The pictures promoting the hotel look wonderful but it is not quite as sleek as this. Could perhaps do with a slight upgrade and even the signs in reception advising how hygienic the mattresses are is dated back two years when it states there is a years guarantee! Breakfast was excellent with a really great fresh selection of food and drink. For a four star hotel I would have liked to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There is a machine in reception you can make coffee or tea but there is no milk so I presume you have to ask for this. I also feel that by the time you have carried this back to your room it will be cold.
Pros: staff was very kind and helpful! Breakfast was excellent, lots of options!! Infused water in the lobby was a nice touch! Cons: they put us in the accessible room and the outside hallway door kept opening and slamming shut in the middle of the night by people going in an out. The sink and vanity mirror was so low for us tall folks and we had to bend to look in the mirror. (Thus , basically it was set up as only an accessible room so didn't curtail to others) The most frustrating part was the vanity sink which was so hard to turn the faucet on, I can't imagine how difficult it would be for a person with a disability to be able to use it. Very poor lighting in room. Overall average stay.
We stayed here ovrrnight for our visit to Tower of Pisa. The hotel has ample of free parking around its periphery and the breakfast spread also offers a wide array of choices. The decor is modern, the staff helpful and a fresh hotel overall.
This hotel is perfect for the airport. Bed was comfy, breakfast was good and staff were friendly! However I felt the hotel had seen quite a few guests and could do with a lick of paint here and there. We stayed in a suite which was nice. It was good to have a bit of extra space as I understand the cheaper rooms are quite small. It would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room (we are British, don't you know!!). We would stay here again if using the airport, maybe not if we were here for Pisa!
Nice rooms and super hospitality! The breakfast serves a nice variety of nutrients. The staff will make sure to go all out in taking care of you. None of our inquiries, none of our demands remained unanswered. Bike rental is free to top it off! Do definetely recommend.
This hotel is just outside Pisa in a quiet area. The hotel itself has a very modern and clean design, the rooms have a good size and the bed is comfortable. Spacious bathroom with all the amenities. Restaurant is modern too, we had just breakfast which was very good.
My husband and I recently stayed here at the end of a two week trip in Europe. We booked it based on the location (close and convenient to airport) and the reviews. The location is hard to beat for getting to the airport, but it was not nearly as nice as we expected. Feels like a budget hotel. Trying to be modern and futuristic in decor but just feels cheap and dated. Our room smelled as though it was once a smoking room covered up in perfumes and air fresheners.
I stayed here with my wife and eight year old son on Monday 28 August 2017. I found this hotel on the tripadvisor website and it had a lot of positive reviews. We had hired a car at Pisa airport so were happy to stay out of town but somewhere accessible by public transport if required. The reception staff made us feel welcome and check-in was quick and easy. We had booked a Junior Suite - Room 404. The room was spacious and bright - lots of mirrors. The room contained good storage/wardrobe space, a tv with a variety of channels, fridge with complimentary drinks and snacks, hair dryer, complimentary wifi and complimentary toiletries. You could open the window and let in air, or use the air conditioning. The cold/hot buffet breakfast was excellent. There was a good variety of food on offer and the staff certainly kept the hot food fresh. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if ever back in Pisa. Practicalities: There are a number of free parking bays directly in front of the hotel. The alternative is to park in the below ground hotel car park. This option was free if you booked directly with the hotel. The hotel is within a 5-10 minute walk/stroll and there are several buses that run to/from the centre of Pisa, stopping directly by the Tower. We ate in the hotel restaurant - separate review - and if you sit outside I would strongly recommend mosquito repellent.
