This was our first place of stay when we started our Italy tour. The place is very good and hotel interior also bit different as you will feel that you have arrived into some kind of crystal maze. Overall the place is neat and tidy and we had a good & safe stay at this place.
I haven’t written for a while because I was getting boarded with the same old hotels that was until I stumbled across this hotel. They have created a unique experience with the decor and attention to detail. The decor, for me, was a cross between industrial and bespoke design. It may sound a bit odd but when you see the pictures you’ll understand. The reception area was beautifully decorated, clean and quiet. The room were modern, well lit and spotlessly clean. There was not a fingerprint to be found. The bed was very comfortable. The sheets were white and crease free. The bathroom was modern. The towels were white and soft with a fresh smell. The complimentary products were of a good standard. The food was exceptional. A Monet/ Rembrandt on a plate with fresh flavours. Absolutely everything is cooked to order. That means that there is no point in being in a rush to eat. You have to take your time and have to have patience. I loved the fact that the kitchen staff are there in complete view for you to watch them cook your food. It’s well worth stopping by for dinner. The atmosphere is good, you get a good vibe when you enter. The staff are great and will help you with your order if you have any questions. I will stay here again.
This is a very unusual Italian hotel, in that it is in modern style (modern for 1970s) and in most respects is very "unItalian". Standard rooms are fairly small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good, the restaurant average. The main issue is location. Basically it is designed to cater for the relatives of people at the big hospital close by, so it is a few kilometres outside the centre and not really ideal for tourists. That said it is only about 10 mins by car from the airport and there are easy and plentiful buses to the centre of town, so by no means impossible. Staff were friendly.
We stayed here for 2 nights on our trip to Pisa & Lucca. A bit away from the city centre but the price reflects the same. Modern hotel. Rooms a bit aged and not exactly reflect the same level of glitz as the photos do. However they were quite spacious and not cramped. Nice breakfast spread. Ginger-lemon detox water at the reception. No coffee maker in the room which I felt was strange. Helpful and good service at the reception. Friendly staff at the restaurant.
Just returned from a 3 day stay. The hotel is about 3 km from the centre of Pisa and is ideal if you have a car. There are plenty of buses serving the hospital ( LAM rossa, 13, 14 and 22 at night) which is almost next door ( every 10 mins weekdays, 30mins Sundays). The reception staff were welcoming and all appeared to speak English. We arrived very early- about 11am but one room was immediately found for us ( we had booked 2) so we were able to drop off our bags. On our return about 3pm the young lady recognised us and handed us our other key without us even having to ask. The rooms on the second floor were spacious and spotlessly clean. Three criticisms of the bedroom however. The bed was really hard and the ledge behind the bed made it very uncomfortable to sit up in bed. The lights were also very difficult to work out. Breakfast was good with hot and cold dishes available as well as fruit , cakes and cereals. Proximity to the airport flight path and the hospital did mean a bit of noise at times so windows are better kept shut. The hotel had a couple of grassed areas suitable for sunbathing. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant in the evening. The shuttle to the airport at the end of our stay was useful and was cheaper than a taxi. An ideal hotel if you don't mind the bus into town.
We stayed here one night to take in the tourist sites prior to our flight home. The reception staff are excellent and provided detailed information about where to get the bus as well as other suggested sites to see. First impressions of the hotel are good, although it is a little space age. The pictures promoting the hotel look wonderful but it is not quite as sleek as this. Could perhaps do with a slight upgrade and even the signs in reception advising how hygienic the mattresses are is dated back two years when it states there is a years guarantee! Breakfast was excellent with a really great fresh selection of food and drink. For a four star hotel I would have liked to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There is a machine in reception you can make coffee or tea but there is no milk so I presume you have to ask for this. I also feel that by the time you have carried this back to your room it will be cold.
Pros: staff was very kind and helpful! Breakfast was excellent, lots of options!! Infused water in the lobby was a nice touch! Cons: they put us in the accessible room and the outside hallway door kept opening and slamming shut in the middle of the night by people going in an out. The sink and vanity mirror was so low for us tall folks and we had to bend to look in the mirror. (Thus , basically it was set up as only an accessible room so didn't curtail to others) The most frustrating part was the vanity sink which was so hard to turn the faucet on, I can't imagine how difficult it would be for a person with a disability to be able to use it. Very poor lighting in room. Overall average stay.
We stayed here ovrrnight for our visit to Tower of Pisa. The hotel has ample of free parking around its periphery and the breakfast spread also offers a wide array of choices. The decor is modern, the staff helpful and a fresh hotel overall.
This hotel is perfect for the airport. Bed was comfy, breakfast was good and staff were friendly! However I felt the hotel had seen quite a few guests and could do with a lick of paint here and there. We stayed in a suite which was nice. It was good to have a bit of extra space as I understand the cheaper rooms are quite small. It would have been nice to have tea making facilities in the room (we are British, don't you know!!). We would stay here again if using the airport, maybe not if we were here for Pisa!
Nice rooms and super hospitality! The breakfast serves a nice variety of nutrients. The staff will make sure to go all out in taking care of you. None of our inquiries, none of our demands remained unanswered. Bike rental is free to top it off! Do definetely recommend.
