We always stay in this hotel: reliable service, centrally located, quiet, good breakfast

Hotel fit what I needed - a clean place to sleep one night. Staff was friendly & helpful. Everything was in reasonable working order. Shower had water pressure, though its temperature fluctuated a bit. Bed was fine. Room had A/C. Hallways smelled like they overdid it with the cleaning supplies. Good location - walking distance to Leaning Tower and train station.

Walking distance to monuments and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and recommended restaurants.

The hotel is located withim walking distance to many restaurants , shops and touristic sites. Clean , confortable rooms , and helpful staff.

After traveling for 10 days with a group, I needed a day off. I found a helpful staff, a comfortable bed, and a place of peace and quiet where I could catch up with myself.

Pisa is not a big place. From a Hotel in the center of town, one can walk to all tourist attractions, including the famous tower. The Hotel Bologna is just South of the river, in a no-drive area of town. Hotel guests, however can drive in and park at the Hotel for a small fee. Tickets are waived - the hotel people give your license plate to the traffic police, so they know you are allowed into the restricted zone. My stay at the Bologna was very pleasant. I used the place as a base to drive to other locations in Tuscany. The room (single) was small but very clean and convenient. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The breakfast is one of the high points of each day. Also they have mineral water and pastries always available for the guest, throughout the day. I highly recommend this hotel and I will use it again if I need to stay in the general area.

It's very conveniently located near the station and only a 15-20min walk away from the main attractions in Piazza dei Miracoli (leaning tower, etc). Just walk straight out of the station to the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and take the street that reads "V. D'Azeglio." It will turn into "Guiseppe Mazzini." You can't miss the hotel on your right side. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They will provide you with a map and give you any recommendations you may need.

Hotel well located, close to shopping and sites, the staff excellent and the rooms very clean and comfortable

Great location. Single room was small but comfortable. Shower would be quite tight for larger people. Parking is extra - must leave key with reception in case car needs to be moved - but inexpensive. Also, city tax must be paid to hotel on top of room charge.

Great hotel walking distance to the leaning tower of Pisa and the Duomo. Shopping and museums a block away, appetizers, wine and cocktails served in the evening, and breakfast in the morning. They offer free internet access, great bathrooms and clean rooms, the bed was a little too firm. Kandinsky exhibit a block away, discount tickets were available from the hotel. This was my third stay in this delightful hotel.

I only stayed one night so that I could be reasonably close to the airport for an early departure at 5:30 am. The staff gave me all the support I needed including wake up call and a breakfast to go. They arranged a taxi for me which arrived promptly. It was one of the few hotels that had a lower rate for a single room compared to that for a double one.

Overall, excellent. Would definately recommend this hotel. Excellent value for the money. Parking was onsite and cheap (10 euros). Breakfast was great and they had a great evening selection of local breads, cheezes, prepared meats, fruits, etc.

Excellent staff, nice room, perfect location. We were a 10-minute walk from the leaning tower, 5 minutes from the train station, and 30 seconds from some great restaurants. And the staff helped us find them all. We left at 5 in the morning to get to the airport, and they called a taxi for us (shuttle not available that early - FYI) and packed us breakfast to go.

I have traveled in Italy a great deal and found the Hotel Bologna very unusual. First, the single room I had was much, much larger than any I've stayed in before and there was a ceiling light that was bright enough to read by! But, I would not stay there again because it was clearly the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Some kind of construction was going on from very early morning all day, every day, involving hammers, compressors, and I don't know what all. Also, the street noises were very loud until late at night. In addition, the walls are paper-thin and you can hear everything going on in nearby rooms. Otherwise, the location was very good, the breakfast was excellent, and most of the personnel were polite.

Although the hotel has very small areas, overall it is very nice. Clean and well kept but our room was extremely enclosed, having no ventilation and extremily tiny shower.

Good hotyel for resting. Not very close to the pisa Tower but fine as we had a car. Very Clean and with helpful staff

Perhaps general prices in Pisa are quite low compared to Florence and Rome, but this hotel delivered much more than expected. Good location a short walk to train station, very nice rooms, friendly and helpful desk staff. Parking available but we did not need it.
