This hotel should be stripped of its 4 star status. The room was ok but without a commonly found items such as: kettle, coffee/tea, bottle opener. Location was no good. Breakfast was...disappointing. They divide it into a section of normal paying and the group section. In the normal paying section they have a decent coffee machine, and we have only a coffee in jug. We had ham, sliced cheese, croissant. No bacon!
Hotel is relatively new and clean. Location sucks, in the middle of nowhere, no public transport to Pisa city centre and train station. Some of the staffs were downright rude. Not recommended for Asians to stay.
Not many guests in my visit on early November. The room is simple with strange green color on the wall that doesn't match with the other color of the room. The bathroom doesn't have bathtub for the standard room. The breakfast was nice although quite simple. The location is about 15 minutes from Pisa tower.
Located close to the airport in Pisa. Wouldn’t stay here if you’re planning on exploring Pisa but if arriving late to Pisa or leaving early to go to the airport the location is good. 5-10 minutes in a taxi which can be booked by the hotel.
The hotel is in the best location of you want to stay close to the airport, so would be great for layovers and business trips. However, you would still need to get a taxi to and from the airport as there is no footpath to walk on. The hotel was clean and the rooms were tidied each day. The staff were pleasant and really helpful. Due to the distance into the 'city centre' my partner and I had to get a taxi there and back each night. You could walk it but it's a good 30-40 minute walk to the River Arno. The road outside the hotel is a very busy road and hard to cross if walking. If you want to get a taxi back to this hotel from the centre, ask the resturant/bar etc to call one for you. My partner and I waited at a taxi rank for 30 minutes and not one taxi pulled in. We ended up having to walk to the Pisa train station to get a taxi back to the hotel (ended up driving past the route we had just walked). The food at the hotel was ok (we only had breakfast). Variety was good although, I do feel as though they could have had more hot food other than egg, sausage and bacon. Not too sure if there's many options for vegetarians/vegans. The room was a good sized but the interior was a little dated. Had a few marks on the wall by our bed and one of the lights didn't work by our bed, which was a shame as there wasn't much lighting in the room (especially when you're at the side/back of the hotel). Overall, I would stay at the hotel again but it wouldn't be my first choice.
My GF and i traveled italy with a rental car and most of the time we stayed in 3-4 star hotels. Compared to other hotels this hotel is on 2-3 star level but indeed the breakfast was really good. We payed much more than for other hotels 140€ just for one night. I would say it’s worth 60€ per night not more. Hotel is close to the airport but there are others in walking distance. If you want a hotel near the airport I would recommend to book another one and maybe pay 10-20€ more.
My OH and I stayed here for a night as we had a very late flight into Pisa. The hotel was a 15 min, €12 taxi ride from the airport. Although there was a little mix up with the transfer from the airport with the hotel (we thought we had booked it, but it turns out we hadn't sent an extra email to a specific email address - worth noting!) but the lovely man on reception was very apologetic and upgraded us to a superior room, which certainly more than made up for what was really only an extra 5 min wait at the airport! The room was really large, clean, and the bed very comfortable, and we had incredible views over the whole city. The breakfast was distinctively average in terms of quality, however there was a large variety of choice. Notes: you need to ask reception to activate your aircon, otherwise it will only work as a heater.
Not too much to write home about. If you need to stay close to the airport. This is ideal, Only a 10min cab journey from the airport. The rooms are functional - plenty of plug points and a reasonable size. Decor is a bit dated and the breakfast was incredibly bland. Book here if you need to stay a night close to the airport, otherwise find a better hotel in town.
We spent a night here after our British Airways flight was delayed. Its reception and bar area lacks any character and feels like the reception of a 1980s office block, the corridors to the rooms are decorated in very tacky artwork that looks like it's been stapled together by a load of school kids. The rooms were clean and functional but tea and coffee making facilities would have been nice. The buffet dinner we were provided with was without doubt one of the worst I have ever had. After hours sat in an airport we were served onion rings, mozzarella balls, some cheap sliced meat and chips all of which were cold. Halfway through they bought out some pasta with a jar of tasteless passata poured over it with no obvious signs of any seasoning or attempt to add flavour! In the morning, the breakfast wasn't much better and the staff seem to have skipped the customer service training. This place is budget, its close to the airport and appears to have parking, so it does have some plus points but I really would suggest looking elsewhere for food!
We had a delayed flight and needed somewhere to sleep. This hotel had decent prices and a 24h reception. The breakfast was ok and somewhat international. A decent hotel with good location. 10 euros by taxi from the airport.
