Magnuson Hotel Nisswa

Just a short visit with family in the area.

The hotel was fine and clean. I would stay there again when in the area. There was no hot coffee at the start of the 0630 breakfast for two days. Lucky for us we had bar soap in the suitcase. We did not get any soap for two days even though the bathroom was very well cleaned after the first day. I did not ask for soap thinking that it would be provided when the bathroom was cleaned for the second day.

Days Inn & Suites Baxter Brainerd Area

Clean, comfortable, economy hotel.

The room is fairly basic, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom appears to have been recently updated.

Comfort Suites Rapid River Lodge

Good place for the price

Found this hotel to be the best price in the area (which included a water park) for our family of 5. The staff was friendly, hotel was not too noisy or crowded. Unfortunately part of the pool area (the small child water area) was closed but they offered an apology and a refund if we wanted to stay elsewhere. The breakfast was wonderful (included eggs & meat). The room was clean (did notice some cobwebs on top of one of the lamps) and nicely decorated but a little tight for the 5 of us, especially once the sofa was made into a bed. Beds seemed higher off the floor than normal and were not extremely comfortable. My husband and I were both sore after the 2 night stay. The kids did have a good time though and that was worth it for us.

Lost Lake Lodge

Nice get away!

It was our second time staying here and will be back next year. Very friendly staff. Location is tucked away but close to everything. Very quiet and comfortable. Cabins have wood burning fireplaces which I love. Never used the restaurant but there were a lot of others that did. Most cabins overlook the water. Don't be afraid to stay here, you won't be disappointed!
