I only spent one night here and it was a pleasant one. The hotel is located right off the major highway. Check in was simple, the employees were friendly and helpful. My room was very clean, warm and inviting. Nice flat screen tv, microwave and mini fridge in the room was nice. The bathroom was nice with plenty of counterspace. The water pressure in the shower was fine. In the morning they have a really nice breakfast with several hot food items to choose from plus their famous cinnamon rolls. I enjoyed my stay here and would gladly stay here again whenever I'm in the area.
Please avoid this city all together. I have to go there on business. Its very unsafe. Even this seemingly nice hotel has super ghetto people partying in the parking lot. And the lobby smells kinda bad too. Too much noise going on all the time. The staff is friendly though.
This was a haven! Leaving Little Rock, there were really no motels until Pine Bluff. This was the first place we found. It was clean, smelled good and the beds were SO COMFORTABLE!!!! So glad we found it!!!
Staff very friendly but not dressed professionally . Hall way did not looked vacuumed for a few days. Hall way bathroom was dirty and not working. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Breakfast room lady was wonderful.
I stayed in pine bluff for 3 weeks in September of 2017. when i entered the hotel, the first thing that comes to mind is the overwhelming aroma of body odor being covered up by cleaners. the staff was very friendly and always willing to help, but the rest of the building was not the same. the only reason i kept coming back to this hotel is because i am a spire member with IHG and collect all my points with them. the room itself was just ok. there was a greasy film all over all the surfaces. I'm not sure if it was from a cleaner that didnt get wiped up good enough or what. i took a hand towel from the bathroom and wiped down all the surfaces. when i did this, the white towel was black from the film that was previously on the desk and tv stand. when i tried to wash the towel in the sink, the sink trap was not connected, so i had to clean up that mess as well. once i reinstalled the sink trap on my own, i had no other issues with the room. the first week i was on site, i noticed several outside issues with the property pertaining to housekeeping. the pool was an awesome green color from all the moss and skunky water. on the other side of the building there was a broke down car trailer that was missing a wheel. this was here all 3 weeks i was there. there is also a little sitting area out back that was completely littered with trash. all my photos show this as well. this area was never cleaned during my time there.
This was on of the best holiday Inn express hotels I've have been in in a while. The place was very clean and the staff of the whole hotel made the stay the best it could have been. The staff was very helpful and upbeat loved it would stay here everytime I through there
Very clean and very accommodating . Everyone was so willing to help and we had very great and fast service. I would love to bring my family with the next time. Will be looking forward to coming back. The breakfast was also better than my expectation. These guys are doing a wonderful job ar this hotel
We are familiar with Holiday Inn express but have never had an experience like this. When we first walked into the hotel, there was a strong chemical odor which should have been a warning. Staff was friendly and we check in. When we got to the room, bed was unmade and towels all over the floor - obviously housekeeping didn't notify desk that it had not been cleaned. We tried again and when we walked into second room, the smell was horrific- strong chemical. We looked at each other like, really? Then walked into the bathroom and the tub was full of something aweful and another dirty towel - out the door we were! Interestingly, the staff apologized, and started recommending other options - and said what ever you do, don't stay at the other Holiday Inn down the road! She said jt was worse than this one! We we went to a competitor hotel chain but they didn't have room, so reluctantly we went to the other Holiday Inn in town- it was fine! Time for a tune up in housekeeping and supervisors.
The lobby was leaking from something over the front desk and the breakfast room was so hot, we had to eat fast and go to our room to cool off. The curtains in our room were torn down and the room was runned down. The door lock was loose and very hard to make work with our key card. To top it all off when I got home I had some jewelry missing. One piece was a diamond and sapphire necklace that I had made from a ring left to me by my Father. I don't plan to stay there again!
Bottom line-don't stay here. I came to Pine Bluff for a conference. The leaders of the conference said they have stayed here in the remote past. They also stayed there during this conference and they had NOTHING good to say about their room. The people who checked me in were very, very nice but their niceness doesn't offset the problems. And they probably don't have anything to do with managing the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel. When I first got to the room it looked worn out but ok so I got ready for bed. Then I noticed all the creepy dirtiness-the bedside chair had huge stains, the freezer inside the fridge had green mold, there were dirty kleenex piled on top of the kleenex box, the shower curtain had black mold and smelled like ammonia (remnants of pee?), the shampoo and stuff looked open and not new. The conference leaders said their room's rug was wet across almost the entire length of the room from the air conditioner and smelled badly. The kitchen: I grabbed an English muffin to toast. It was soggy. I didn't eat it. The door to the kitchen prep area was open. It was filthy and the doors were coming off a few cabinets. The breakfast area looks like it has home made cabinets and the opening to the garbage bin are too small so as each person throws out their garbage it basically smears all over the cabinet and lid as it squeezes through the opening. And as you walk outside the area is filthy, including dirty used q-tips. Why didn't I complain? leave? I was told by people who used to live and work in Detroit that Pine Bluff is rougher and more crime ridden so not to go out and about. And I figure if the place is in that bad of shape then the workers probably don't care and wouldn't be affected by one person making a complaint.
