The Bell Pool Villa Resort Phuket

The Bell Pool Villa was absolutely lovely. The tranquility and atmosphere of the resort can be held in the highest regard and it helps tremendously that there are only so many villas available at a time. Pros: - The reception and the staff were all polite and courteous. - The resident 3 cats are a pleasure to be around, especially Brownie who suffered from an injury and tends to walk slowly. She's a gentle soul and loves to sunbath and just sloth all day like me. - The private villa was exceptional in aesthetics and provided you with your own little space in Thailand to call your own for a few days. I cannot stress enough how nice the villas are. The pictures don't do it justice. - The breakfast is ordered the day before from a menu and delivered to you. It wasn't anything outstanding but it's always nice to eat breakfast in your own private villa. Cons: - I would not recommend the BBQ. The food portion was small for the price paid and there was nothing fancy about it. The chef is just an employee grilling the meat/fish for you. They had arrived an hour earlier then we had scheduled for as well. - The place is mosquito heaven and the wooden matches that they provide you don't work all that well. I had to use multiple matches to get one match working to use the mosquito repellents that the resort provided. When that match finally lit up, boy did I felt accomplished! Haha - We never received a phone that we were suppose to get upon check in to call our butler. This wasn't too much of a problem since we only stayed for two nights. - I'm not sure if its related to the phone but the maid/employees will knock on the front door. If you're in the rooms, it'll be very hard to hear the knock. The maid had knocked to let herself be known she was coming in and we didn't even realize until she came in. Overall, this resort was one of the better ones we stayed at during our 3 week trip to Thailand. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends~!

Bell pool villa is located near phuket fantasea. Just turn in from there and go thru some small roads & u can find the villa. I would recommend for people who needs privacy & love quiet surrounding. Villa provided free shuttle bus to kamala beach & for those who drive, there is free parking. I loved how I was greeted with birds singing every morning. And seeing squirrels climbing up & down the trees makes me feel like living one together with nature. Loved their trees & bamboos planted. They did a great job in maintaining the greenery. Appreciate that they provide free pillow float & ball for us as many other villa charges $. Villa is very clean & well maintained. It's the cleanest villa i ever been to. I also like their pavilion for sun tanning. Very thoughtful as it comes with ceiling fan & side table. I also like their choice of furniture, very good quality! Do note that the bedroom is separated from the living & kitchen. Full kitchen facilities for those who wish to cook. They provide Apple TV in their living room. Nice as we can watch Netflix & gaming on TV via iPad screening. But there is no TV in the bedroom. I would suggest them to put another TV in the bedroom too Nice breakfast but I would suggest they add more selections to their in villa dinning menu.

I read the bad reviews for the Bell whilst staying in my Villa and laughed. The Villa we stayed in ( Villa 1) was beautiful, private pool, kitchen, everything we could possible need. The room was very clean as was the pool area and garden. There are mosquitoes but you are basically staying in the jungle and you are given mosquito coils to assist. The butler service is great, a call and they will come with almost anything. The in Villa Breakfast is a nice touch. We shared our villa with Birds, Squirrels, Frogs, Lizards it was like being in a jungle! A bit pricey for Thailand but worth it, Staff are friendly and English Skills great, if i could be critical, i would suggest more Shuttles to Kamala but otherwise very good.

My group of 6 stayed in 2 pool villas (Villa 1 & 2) at the Bell April 15th - 18th. This boutique resort was exactly what we were looking for to relax and enjoy the last leg of our Thailand trip. STAFF: The staff at the bell were great and provided amazing service with a smile from pre-booking to check out. For example, during the booking process, the two bedroom villa sold out online right after we booked the 3 bedroom. We emailed The Bell explaining our needs for a 2 bedroom and they kindly accommodated our request! In addition, we corresponded several times and each time the Bell team responded promptly. At the resort the staff responded quickly to request from the provided mobile phone, they arranged transport to anywhere we needed, gave suggestions/info (even when we were away from the hotel)and when our living room A/C stopped operating they immediately sent a repairman who made the necessary repair within the hour. The housekeeping staff kept the rooms and outdoor areas immaculate each day. VILLA: Upon check in we received our keys and were escorted to our little private sanctuary. The staff provided a quick overview of the villa and made sure we had what we needed. Each villa was a perfect size with its own entry gate (providing true privacy) and included a kitchen, large dining table, living room, outdoor dining table, pool and covered outdoor lounge area with two loungers. The pool was a great size & depth and came with a huge pool pillow (and one villa included a huge swan). The master bedroom has huge bathroom with double sinks, a deep soaking tub, large walk-in shower, large windows/sliding doors with a lovely view of the pool and manicured grounds. The other bedrooms are smaller and have a different view of a "mini-garden" The design of the villas was superb with lovely touches such as "floating" walkways leading to the villa. However, its important to note 1) that the open courtyard design of the villa requires you to walk outside to get from each bedroom and the living room (so if its raining you will get wet walking from room to room or from the living room to your bedroom). We had no issue with this since we were a group of friends who preferred privacy within our rooms. 2) There are no TVs in the bedrooms only in the living room (the wifi works great so we used our tablets as needed... so it was not a big issue either) 3) Although it is called a resort this is not a typical big box resort, with large grounds to wander, group entertainment activities, resort pool, etc. There is a bar/restaurant on site you can visit but overall your villa is your resort.. which we absolutely loved! (the only time we interacted with other guest was on the beach shuttle lol) FOOD: We selected our choices and delivery time the day before. Each day the meal was served on schedule in the area of our choosing. The food and portions were good and adequate. Depending on what we ordered we had something left over that we stored in fridge for later and there is also room service for all other meals. One of the days we had a very early last minute excursion, the staff revised the time of our breakfast order and convert it to a to-go breakfast (Thank you!). Unfortunately we were not able to have the villa bbq since we missed that we needed to schedule roughly a day in advance. TRANSPORT: The Bell provided airport transfers to/from the hotel, the luxury minibus provided was one of the best we saw/rode in Phuket. The shuttle to the beach was quick (5-10 minutes depending on traffic) and the drivers were always pleasant. In addition, the staff scheduled taxi service for us to Patong and other areas in Phuket. However, the only issue we had was related to transportation. Going to Kamala beach via the shuttle was fine, however the last return shuttle is 5ish which is a bit early so we had to hire transport to get back to the villas. Cabs around the beach and beach clubs significantly overcharge (even after haggling) for the very short trip back to the bell and even more so when you have a larger group. It would have been great if the Bell could provide a way for us to pay them directly for transport from Kamala beach (the same way we paid to go to/from the store after hours) so we could have avoided the nonsense we experienced. Overall: The Bell was an excellent place to stay and definitely worth the price especially if you like luxury of privacy and/or come with a group but still want the option to socialize or party in town. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Phuket! (Hopefully we can work something out about the transport from Kamala LOL)

its 45 min from the Airport, 20 min for Patong beach, I Booked Two bedroom villa for 5 nights , very nice and great private pool, the breakfast was nice and they bring it to your villa (no buffet) , there were some notice on the villa that the two bedroom is not connected, so we couldn't leave or (3 years) old child sleep on her own, the insects were numerous ) I had to spry for almost two days to kill most of them (the hotel should did that before we arrived) , the A/C broke and they had to come three times to fix it and there were nothing to do in the hotel except to go to KAMAL beach and ride a bicycle (the hotel in the middle of private houses), if you like a quiet Villa then your on you luck because its depends on you neighbors (ours were loud and noisy for two nights) The staff were very helpful, kind , nice and always smiling, big bonus for Muslim people because they offer a full staff of women to clean your villa and to serve you and they respect your privacy.

We stayed for ten days with another couple in a two bedroom villa. The villas are just as shown on the website, really well designed and great quality, a paradise. The private pool is amazing and a great size. Having breakfast delivered to us in the villa daily was luxury. We loved the in villa dinning experience and often ordered meals to the villa and these are as good as any at Kamala Beach. If you don't like big chain hotels and looking for a superb boutique hotel with the most amazing staff look at booking The Bell. The Manager Daniel, was excellent with his recommendations on what to do in Kamala. Thanks Daniel and Staff for our great holiday at The Bell Pool .

We just checked in today and from the minute we arrived I felt at home and relaxed. During the check in process a bell boy had discreetly picked up our suitcases and transported them to our villa so by the time we arrived at the villa the cases were already there waiting for us, that has never happened at any hotel I have ever stayed in - usually your cases arrive 10 mins after you. Later in the day we asked for a mosquito racquet to kill some mosquitoes (an unusual request) but unfortunately the hotel didn't have one. About 15 mins later a member of staff arrived at our villa with a brand new one that they had just bought specifically for us from a local shop, truly outstanding service that went above and beyond. We have 8 more nights here and I just know it will be amazing, the staff really make an effort. Would recommend The Bell Pool to anyone.

I want to start off by saying. The staff here is AMAZING! Thank you, Matthias, Bell, Greg, and our amazing driver, Seed. The villa is exactly as you see it on the web. They went above and beyond on our every request. We had a dry cleaner picked up, that we dropped off on the local town. We had the chef prepare the most amazing BBQ in the comfort of our private villa. If you don’t like big chain hotels, and looking for a superb boutique hotel, with the most amazing staff, look no further! My family and I are forever grateful. This was our first trip to Asia, and one we shall never forget.

We stayed in this location to be close to the new beach clubs and Kamala beach. The whole property is very private in a quiet road and in very good condition. The reception staff gave us a very warm welcome and we booked our breakfast to be brought to the private villa instead of taking it in the main restaurant. We stayed in Villa 11 which was very spacious, stylish, clean and had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathrooms. The pool area is so beautiful with lounge beds, outside dining and stunning landscape garden with frangipani trees. I loved the villa, the service and the location. We would definitely go back again.

We spent a wonderful time in The Bell with our baby girl! It was way beyond our expectations. Excelent Villas, super friendly staff, nice and quiet undisturbed environment and they were prepeared with everything a baby could need as well. They even ensure a quick and very convenient suttle bus service to Kamala and Patong beach if needed. We couldn’t be happyer with our choice!
