We had the luck to spend our honeymoon in Pukhet at the amazing Bell Pool villa for a week. The location is just amazing. Everything is within walking distance and the view is stunning. I was hesitating between a chain, but after some recommendations, I decided to go for this resort. It was possibly the best decision to do so. I can heartily recommend for longer stays to anyone coming to Thailand. Big thanks for the team for making our stay the most memorable one ever.

This place would worth a 5 * stars rating. The villas are absolutely beautiful and they come with a large swimming pool. We particularly enjoy the complete privacy the villa offer, not a single time we saw our neighbors and neither do they. We feel like we were surrendering by the jungle only and that was truly what we were seeking for: privacy, nature and quiet place . If you look for a place far away of the crowded Patong then the Bell Pool is for you. The villa come with 2 bathrooms, a living room with Netflix TV and a kitchen. The swimming pool is large enough for a real swim and have a good deep. The breakfast concept is nice: each days you filled a cart picking the selection you want for the following morning and they come to deliver it at your villa door at the selected time. Very convenient ! Breakfast was overall good. The hotel staff were very helpful and always ready to drive you to the beach or make taxi to go for further destinations. Another good point! So why I only rate 4 stars because one minor issue : our wifi connection wasn’t very good. It cames with bad signal. But really what was the negative point is that we booked an airport pickup that has been paid and confirm by the hotel with timing and flight reference... and they never came ... we were waiting for them at the arrival desperately checking again and again for them. After some wasted time to wait for a transfer that never came we had no choice to take a local taxi and the driver couldn’t found the hotel location... This incident make us very disappointed ... they refund and after all apologies but still it’s something they really must pay attention to. That’s why we rated only 4/5 even though We loved our Villa and that it would deserved 5 without this pick up problem.

Me and my friends selected this property for our stay during our visit to Phuket in month of October. We were really impressed with the resort and the villa. The check-in was smooth and we were told about facilities of the resort. The villa was clean and is nicely designed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast is fresh and is served in the villa. There were three main problems which we faced during our stay and due to which I have given Average rating. Firstly, the villa is cleaned only once a day. We tried cooking in the villa after which we wanted the kitchen to be cleaned but the room service informed us that they offer cleaning only once a day. Secondly, We were not able to understand the breakfast ordering process which they have. There was difference in what we ordered and what was served to us next morning. Thirdly, on the day we were suppose to check out we had requested the breakfast to be served to us by 07.00 but it was served at 07.40 after 2-3 follow ups and due to which we almost missed our flights. Above things set our whole experience sour which otherwise has been very satisfied.

There is a previous review mentioning the resort could be 10 out of 10 if taking care of the little things - completely correct. My wife and I have stayed at numerous villas in Bali, decided to give Phuket a visit after many years. We booked the 1 bedroom villa for 5 nights, liked the layout of separate bedroom and living areas. Beautiful pool and the villa amenities are fine. There were a few little things like having a water dispenser in the villa instead of what was provided. We brought the suggestions up with Matthias, who was very understanding and hope our feedback helps. Would like to thank Matthias for the Thai meal, it was excellent! Overall service 5 star, call the butler or front desk and they are quick to get things done. Breakfast included, plenty of choices so not sure why there are reviews critical of breakfast choices. Location is remote, we enjoyed the privacy. If one wants to go out for dinner or ride into Kamala, call the front desk and its arranged quickly to get you to Kamala in minutes. Supermarket 10 mins away to buy drinks and snacks. Taxi to Patong 500 baht if you crave liquor and lust. Once the little touches are taken care of, this is 10/10 resort. My wife and I will be back - thanks again Matthias.

We have just returned after a 8 night stay at The Bell. I have to say that the staff were so friendly and lovely and will do anything to help. We stayed at the Bell a few years ago for our honeymoon and loved it so much we always wanted to return. Pros: - So much privacy. - Beautiful Villa is like a tropical paradise - Staff are so lovely and courteous - Apple TV with Netflix - Lovely amenities with little orchids placed everywhere - Complimentary shuttles to Kamala beach - very comfortable bed - Endless supply of complimentary clean water. - We didn't get sick at all and ate lots of things that would need to be washed so I think the kitchens must be very clean and vigilant. Cons - First Villa (16) we stayed in had circular barbed wire around the whole wall perimeter of the villa which gave it a prison feel. I didn't like it at all. I'm sure there was a reason it was there but nevertheless I absolutely hated the look of it. - Villa outdoor lights were not working, Had to ask for them to be fixed - Villa had no hot water for a day, was rectified at 11pm - Villa kettle broke which was replaced quite promptly although half an hour after breakfast. -You must make own tea and coffee for breakfast. Only instant coffee provided with coffee-mate powder creamer. I'm a coffee snob and really can't do instant or powedered milk substitute. - Villa air conditioning broke which could not be fixed so a night without air conditioning but ended up moving villas the next morning. - New Villa lovely but toilet was still quite dirty and smelly from previous guests. - Breakfast delivered lacking things like jam or condiments which you then have to ask for. - no mini bar All in all, I think the staff try really hard and are so friendly, even the non thai managers took time to have a chat to me which was really appreciated. I don't like making too much of a fuss but with everything that went wrong in our stay there was no compensation given, only a verbal apology which was fine but a small gesture goes a long way when you feel put out as much as we did. I don't think that all the things that went wrong would happen all the time, I think we were just unlucky and I totally understand things happen. This was just my experience. We still had a lovely stay and may still return one day.

We have stayed in many 5* resorts around Asia over the last few years and just found that The Bell resort could have been 10 out of 10 if only they went that little further with the small touches. As for the villa if your looking for pure relaxation and privacy then this is your place. The villa is truly amazing with your own private infinity pool is superb and good value for money for the size of the property. At the same time only 20 minutes away from lively Patong. The staff are friendly and helpful but lack in following up requests and just found the small touches let this place down. Having to ask 3 times for something, products missing on breakfast orders or giving us different juices because they had run out, Small tea light candles never replaced after the first night, including bath salts and when asking for more they said they didn't stock them after having them the first night...strange? We ordered food from the restaurant on many occasions and found this always to be Luke warm every time. The cons comes with much positive such as the shuttle bus that takes you to the center and they did go out there way to drop us off and wait at the supermarket for us to buy some goods. I have a restaurant myself and rating 1° on Trip Advisor So I understand the importantes of customer service and I certainly don't like bad reviews but please take this review not a criticism but to maybe address the issues. As I would off mentioned to a manager if I had spoken to one. Was this 10 out of 10? No Would I return? Yes Did we enjoy our stay? Yes

My husband and i just returned from a glorious 7/8 night stay at the Bell Villas - we stayed in a 1 bedroom pool villa - villa 6. We arrived fairly late and had an in villa check in which was nice as the staff member showed us around the room and showed us how to use the lights and air con - they did however forget to show us the outside bathroom - which we only discovered 3-4 days into our stay. **Pros:** The villa is fairly large, offering a seperate living area and bedroom (both large rooms). The main area has a small lounge and dining area as well as a full kitchen incase you want to make your own meals. The pool was fairly large for a pool villa - no small little dip pools here! There was plenty of room for my Husband and i as well as our large 2m flamingo pool blow up! There is also a small outdoor shower if you want to wash off after going into the pool or after a day at the beach. The villa was cleaned well each day and the pool chemical levels were checked daily to ensure that it remained clean - which i thought was great as this is the first time I've seen this in all the pool villas i have stayed in. We were extremely happy with the large room considering the price - i think its one of the most competitively priced pool villas in Phuket ! We received a “butler” mobile phone from the hotel for the duration of our stay, we were able to use this to make room services orders while at the resort or call the hotel if we were out and needed to arrange a pick up or wanted to make a room service order for when we got back to the hotel - this was a perfect for us to stay in contact with the hotel without having to pay high international roaming fees! The villas provided complete privacy - with fairly high walls around them - so you can walk around stark naked if you wanted. We were provided with a large bottle of drinking water which lasted us the majority of our stay - i think this is much better for the environment - we were able to refill our bottles of water each day rather than getting new bottles everyday, using them and throwing them away. The villa is out of the way which we found perfect as it was quiet and very relaxing (however we did need to direct a few taxi's that didn't know where the hotel was). The food was excellent throughout our stay, we opted for an in room BBQ 1 day and were pleasantly surprised at how much food was provided! It is a lot of bang for your buck! Although we did order the BBQ for 3 people as a friend of ours was going to come over for lunch however they were called away last minute so we had leftovers to eat the next day! The menu was reasonably priced however it would be nice to see more Thai selections, we can have burgers and pizza at home - we came to Thailand to eat Thai food 🙂 While we didnt really use it, the Bell does offer their guests an apple tv box with Netflix preloaded onto it - i guess this would be perfect for families (to keep kids entertained) or for the rainy days Phuket gets now and then. I think its a lovely gesture - we were also offered a pod coffee machine by the hotel manager however we were happy with a cup of instant coffee each morning. They also offer a free shuttle to Kalama each day which is great. We did not use this, however they did drop me off and pick me up from the 7/11 down the road during the shuttle run. I think a shuttle (once a day) to Patong would be good free or a small charge as most people who come to Phuket for the first time want to see the hustle and bustle of Patong. **Cons:** I found it a little strange that at check in we were asked to provide a 5,000 Baht deposit - most hotels we have stayed at will usually take a pre authorisation off of your credit card. We were also told that we could settle our bill (and the extra nights we had booked - last minute- at the end of our stay (when we checked in) however the next day we were asked to pay for the last 2 nights stay upfront. I found this a little bit strange as we weren’t going to run off or leave any earlier and they already had my credit card on file from the original booking. We had 2 massages during our stay (on seperate days) which were really really good however there was no communication between departments as we had housekeeping coming in to clean our room while we were having a massage so it was fairly noisy for the first 30 mins. I was also surprised that we weren't required to fill in any paperwork before our massages - i think that this is something that needs to be implemented as communication with the therapists was a little difficult, due to the language barrier. The forms should have what type of pressure you wanted and if you have any injuries or areas to avoid - maybe have these forms in english with Thai underneath for the therapists to understand. We also found it a little strange that there was no "relaxing spa music" playing during our massage. Room services stop at approx. 10pm which kind of sucked for us as we arrived at around 11pm (i think - it was fairly late) and we had not eaten for a while, we also noticed that there was no minibar in the room so we had to wait until breakfast the next morning to have anything to eat. Maybe the hotel could look to add a minibar to the room with a few snacks or even a very simple overnight menu for staff to provide guests later in the night. Providing jugs of milk daily would also be nice as coffee mate isn’t really a great substitute for milk - we got around this by asking for milk when we ordered breakfast but missed out on a coffee our first morning. While 90% of the food was great, we would not recommend the seafood plater, my husband had it one night and found it to be very disappointing, the calamari was very rubbery and the crab had very little meat inside of it. We also found that all meals were served without napkins - I'm not sure if this is a Thai thing..? So some of our towels ended up a little dirty from having to wipe out hands. Room service was a little inconsistent at times, our food and drinks would arrive separately and sometimes there would be a fairly significant times difference or we would order 4 drinks and 2 would arrive with the other 2 arriving 20 minutes later. Our room was cleaned very well each day however we found that housekeeping was a little inconsistent especially around the towels, our pool towels were taken away after the second day and never replaced and our bathroom towels were sometimes replaced, even though we were happy to use the towels again (which were hung up). The shower pressure in both bathrooms is fairly weak but i think this is just a Thailand thing - i’ve never had strong shower pressure no matter where we have stayed in Thailand. There was no “do not disturb” options for our room (that we could find) and at times staff would only knock once then enter the villa which could have ended up in an embarrassing situation if were happened to be walking around the villa nude. **Note to Hotel manager** I forgot to tell your staff on check out that the toilet seat in the ensuite in villa 6 moves a lot when you sit down and could do with tightening up a little and the toilet roll holder in the other bathroom was very loose. **Overall:** We had an amazing stay, the staff were great however the language barrier was evident at times (according to my husband i cant speak english properly haha so maybe that was half of the problem), but the staff got to know us and knew our drink orders and constantly went out of their way to help us or assist us. We received a visit from the hotel manager to check in with how i stay was going and to check that everything was working properly - we did have a bit of an issue with a noisy shower which was fixed up pretty quickly. I gave this hotel a 5 star rating, even after the above cons because it is a beautiful resort and i think if they can make a few small improvements it would be an excellent resort! I wish we could have stayed longer! If we come back to Thailand again we will definitely be staying at the Bell.

This is the ideal place to stay if you want privacy, total relaxation and going to stay in resort alot of the time. There is a free shuttle to Kamala and they are happy to drop you at other places for a reasonable price. It is the villa you come here for rather than location. That suited us perfectly. Pros: Start with the best. The villa looks amazingly set out and is very clean. Loved the two bathrooms as one easy to use when outside in the pool rather than going through bedroom. Sala is great for lounging around and has fan to help keep cool. Great breakfast delivered daily to the villa. Villa is totally private and very peaceful. Pool is of an excellent size. Has deep and shallow ends. Deep end must be about 6ft. Staff overall excellent. We did the half day trip around the South of the island. Yes you could get it cheaper however having our own private driver in a very nice SUV with amazing aircon was worth paying the extra for. Plus the little things like cold drinks provided and cold towels. Our driver was excellent. Drivers always on time either dropping off or picking up and always great you with a warm welcome. Massages by the pool in privacy of room where excellent. Could improve: Breakfast- everyday something was missing like spreads or cereal. Wasn't too big an issue as you got so much but something that can be improved on. Food menu- could be improved especially with more local options. The food overall was good but had better. Collection of dishes. It might seem petty but we expected our dishes to be collected with a reasonable time of calling for them to be collected especially at such a high standing property. Personally within 5 minutes I feel is the desired and yes at times this happened. Other times we had to phone through a second time after 30 plus minutes of them not being collected. We just couldn't totally relax whilst waiting for dishes to be collected as you knew someone was coming to interrupt you. Patong- maybe a free shuttle once or twice a week would be good to combat the location. Overall we would recommend this property without a doubt but would make sure people understand the location. For us it was perfect because we just wanted to relax with the odd trip out.

A little out of the way but if you want peace and relaxation this is the place to be. Clean and private and the pool is spotless and gets sun during the day unlike some villas which leaves the pool cold, this one was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful and good for a giggle :) Cleaners were lacking in their knowledge of English but still friendly. On our arrival we were greeted by the sweetest young lady named Pan who showed us to our villa and helped us throughout our stay. Another young lady by the name of Ish was also outstanding, if I could I would of bought them both back to work in my business :) A good menu and breakfast, the food was delicious and great value. Kamal beach is 5 mins away and the resort offers a free shuttle there, Kamala has shopping, money changers, restaurants and you can hire jetskis on the beach. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Bell!

Booked one bedroom villa, upon arrival late at night and was being told due to the rain the day before and our villa(the only Villa) was affected by the rain, We do not have water in our villa and the pool is dirty. We were given a/one choice, to move to Tantawan resort. We felt deceived and forced to take that villa, we were not given any other options and they threw in a free massage after I insisted shouldnt the management upgrade us?! I realized the amount we paid for The bell is more than Tantawan, shouldn't The Bell refund us the balance?
