Nice ideea for a hotel, But this place need a lot of improvements. It is a problem with cleaning. Also the staff do not speak english or another foreign language. The Beach is Close, But It is ugly. You need to Take a car for a nice Beach or to go with a Both
Very good service, friendly staff especially Paul and Julie. Good pool and good location. They just need to improve small details like tv channels for foreigners (no other international channel except DW) and no iron available in the room. Otherwise our experience in the hotel was very good and will highly recommend to people.
I lived in this hotel 3 years ago and my rating was 5 out of 5. Very beautiful view with semi-private pool on the hill, but the room and facilities become old, and not as clean as before. There are some dust particles on the bed sheet and the bathtub is not cleaned although I left tips. The receptionist and cleaning staff are not very passionate compared with those 3 years ago. The only thing "improved" is the price.
The location of the hotel is just perfect. 100 meters from Kata center. Since the hotel is situated on a hill, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Kata. Rooms are absolutely nice, and staffers are dedicated. Being in city center, you can also enjoy more than 10 or eleven pools, if you rather stay au the hotel. But again, the beach is about five minutes to go.. Breakfast ok, but didn’t strike me as sometime special..
The hotel is situated at walking distance from Kata beach (5 mins). It is very clean, tidy and the amenities are very good. This was our third visit to Phuket and each time we have stayed at a different hotel. I must say that this was our best stay (not that the previous stays were bad) mainly cause of the location and the reasonable price. The breakfast is delicious and the serving staff is very kind and they always greet you with a beautiful smile (probably that's the best part of Thai culture). Breakfast variety is standard as offered elsewhere. The hotel has an asymmetric design and its difficult to analyze which room would offer better views. Some Room Tip: Higher floors from 1501 -> 190X offers sea/beach views. Not all rooms would give you the perfect views as the balconies of alternate rooms protrude out and obstruct that of the next room and so on. I was initially allotted room 1807 but later moved to 1804. The staff was kind enough to facilitate this movement. If you opt for Jacuzzi rooms, I believe you will be a satisfied customer. Seventh Floor Bar offers some awesome Kata beach views and I would advice the travelers to spend one evening here, sip some drinks and enjoy the music. Yes, the hotel is steep and you need to change elevators to reach to the top. Alternately, you can walk and still not feel tired if you enjoy small treks :) Most importantly, the staff is always well behaved, smiling and ready to help. July (that's a person's name btw :) ) was very friendly, professional and offered personal advice for travelling. I do not remember the other names but be assured, everyone here is great. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.
the price was reasonable for 4 of us to stay in 2 rooms. you have to take 2 elevators and some stairs to get to our hotel room. plus it's on a hill, so you're getting a workout! It's pretty close to the beach, but watch out! the intersection is pretty insane! but it's super close to a few places. Staff is friendly, and helpful when we needed it! we were able to get a cab and a private driver through them when the weather wasn't that great. I do think we'd stay in a different location next time because it felt like it was far from a lot of sights that we wanted to see.
My husband and myself stayed here in November what a surprise. You know the feeling when your on the bus seeing people going into stunning hotels and your sat there hoping yours is on par, well to my joy the hotel was lovely. Staff welcoming and helpful. Room we had was clean and spacious with a lovely view. We upgraded as it was not much more expensive than a standard room. Breakfast not to my taste but this would not put me off going back to this Hotel. We are looking to go back maybe next year. If you stay here you will not be disappointed. ENJOY
The hotel is located close to Taka Beach, on a hillside as the name implies, about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The room was simple, the walls and luggage rest are concrete. There is a very small desk and a TV I'd guess was 40". There are several English language channels including news and HBO Asia (Thai subtitles). Basic amenities like toothbrush, body wash, shampoo, nothing more. That being said, the hotel was generally very good. It looks like most rooms all have a balcony with a table and chairs that have a view of the bay (some rooms have a jacuzzi tub on the patio). Breakfast goes are convenient - 6:30am-10:30am. The food is good, there is a chef to make omelets besides the buffet and cereal. The staff speaks English, enough that I never had any confusion, and some Chinese if that's of value to you. They were all very hospitable, willing to help when needed, and the cleaning staff was also exceptionally friendly. It was my first time coming to Thailand so I called the hotel ahead of time to ask how they recommend I get from the airport to the hotel as we were arriving very late at night. The Phuket airport was a confusing chaotic scene even at 12:30am. To get to the hotel you can take a taxi, the price is fixed at 1200 Baht. Apparently there's a law now against electronic cigarettes, they will confiscate them and any vaping liquid or components, so be aware of that's relevant to you.
Spent four nights at this hotel and had a pleasant stay. Really nice hotel rooms and location with only a short walk to the beach. Special thanks to Tik for your hospitality and for the local recommendations - it's nice to have someone to talk English with!
Good service from the hotel staff Miss Tik. The room was very comfortable with stunning view. The room is reasonably price. TIP: If you are going to stay here ask for a room that does not require a long walk.
