Beautiful rooms and pool here at this hotel. Staff very rude and unprofessional when we arrived we were told food was served till 10.30pm we had been travelling all day and arrived at 10pm the restaurant staff were fuming that we wanted to buy our food for the evening when we were starving. First they tried to tell us we couldn't eat, but it eventually resulted in us being able to have 'simple food'. The food in the hotel is very over priced and staff not friendly. We also found there were 100's of bugs in our room not sure if these were coming out the air con? Good location of hotel and free shuttle bus into town which is nice. Don't book your tours through the hotel as very expensive. We have stayed in 4 hotels in Thailand and the staff in the other 3 have been amazing couldn't do enough for us but here everything seemed to be a chore for them.
The property was beautiful the staff was good enough .. Helpful..location also at a decent place ..... Swimming pool was also nicely maintained Rooms were cleaned on a regular basis nicely Overall a pleasant Stay..
Stayed here in march and on arrival was given a room that stunk of damp, was moved to another one that was bit better but not brilliant ,eventually i got given a decent room after several hours and nearly midnight..Never had no problems before but this time the front office manager was so rude i thought people should know ,her conduct was unprofessional and have no idea why she has this possition the owners need to be aware as totaly appaled by her behaviour to me and my girlfiend..Other staff very good and helfull.Rooms could do with a makeover as dated and old
Really great place to stay. The poolside bar was absolutely Brilliant. Poolside barman called BOOM was an absolute gentleman and looked after us so well. Absolute champion bloke.!! Worth staying just for this great man. Make sure if you stay at Sawaddi resort you go and make yourself known to BOOM at Poolside Bar....Champion!!
I stayed in this hotel with my friends and family from 7th till 9th jul. While checking in they seem polite but during the stay we realised how rude and unhelpful the hotel staff is.. They charge you for even small things like spoon, cup etc. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I wish there were an option of negative rating.
Stayed here for a week with my teenage daughter. The staff were great and always greeted us with a smile. The breakfast is lovely with plenty of variety which seems to change on alternate days. The location is quiet and not too far from the main attractions and the beach. Nice restaurants close by but then nothing is really too far away. The pool was big and has lots of chairs. Good to go early when it is not busy as by the late afternoon (once everyone is back from tours) it becomes quite busy and noisy. We had a poolview room on the 2nd floor and it was lovely. Good balcony that looked over the whole complex. The gym is well equipped but could do with a step and risers as there is really nothing to jump or step onto. The rooms are really spacious and there are lots of power points. The beds are super comfy and not hard at all. They could probably do with an update but they are not drab by any means. There are no drawers to store clothes which was a little inconvenient. It is a short walk to Bangla Rd and the beach is not far away either. Didn't use the shuttle bus but it takes you into heart of Patong four times a day. Reception staff happily gave us a late checkout (2pm) when asked. Internet worked fine and was available for four devices per room. There seem to be a lot of tour groups which come through for a couple of days which can make it busy at times. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and felt welcome.
We spent more than 5 nights in this hotel. These are my Pros for this hotel: 1. The breakfast really good and tasty 2. Check In good 3. Room slightly old but well maintained 4. The location is good, near to several local restaurant and convenient store The are my Cons for this hotel: 1. The bed is not really comfortable, that is hard almost like rock 2. I would like to highlight my cons review on the evening staff in this hotel. I dont know why but they are really rude. This is the case, actually i have 2 cases which make me feel that they are rude: - The Staff named Na, he is the evening staff. I rented motorbike from the hotel and i left my passport as my guarantee. But i need to take of picture to be able checkin for my flight, he is mad to me because he thinks that i am not clear to ask. In fact, while i am asking for my passport he ALSO ANSWERING THE PHONE AND TALKING TO OTHER GUEST. So, who is not clear? - The staff named Na (again), i just checked out from the hotel. And as the evening staff he will serve us for check out then THESE ARE CASES! -- NO GREETING, i work for Hyatt, Pan Pacific brand around the world but he desperately need courtesy and greeting TRAINING. -- I asked for the early breakfast, he is answering: I KNOW I KNOW YOU NEED BREAKFAST! REALLY?????? -- He is races for Asian; in this case i felt he only smile with other race not asian. --I just make sure that we not leave any deposit and ask him before we left about the deposit money, he ANSWERED ME WITH I DONT THINK YOU HAVE MONEY DEPOSIT HERE IF YES YOU NEED TO REMEMBER THAT. Thank you for the morning and afternoon staff. Im not sure we will come again to this hotel or not, because we are not looking for best hotel with best equipment but we need hospitality! Thank you. Regards, Dhaniel Simamora
My parents and I occupied the suite from resort from 3-5 Jul. The room comes with double bed and extra bed for 3 of us, 2 ensuite toilets which was very comfortable for us. Breakfast spread is good, serving international cuisine. Hotel rooms are clean but can tell that the building is rather dated. Location of resort is 15mins walk to the beach. The extraordinary point from this resort is the attentiveness from the resort staff. I unfortunately fell sick on 2nd day of my trip with gastric flu (which apparently is very common for tourists) and was confined to bed for the entire day. My worried sick parents had to get the assistance from resort staff for doctor to come in to get me diagnosed and treated. Doctor's call was responded within an hour and accompanied by resort staff whom kindly offered light breakfast for me to the room so I can take it with medicine. Throughout the day, there was sufficient care given to my parents whenever they needed help. Also, they helped with getting the day tour we booked the day before with the tour counter at resort waived as I was unwell to travel. Extraordinary service till the last day of our trip!
We spent 7 nights at The Sawaddi Patong Resort and Spa in Phuket and had a great stay. The rooms were comfortable, the pool was large with plenty of lounges around. The breakfast had plenty to choose from and the evening meal in the restaurant was most enjoyable. We liked the position as it was just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Lastly the staff were excellent
Stayed here for 3 nights . The room was big. Bed comfy. Nice a/c. Staff was very friendly . The pool was nice , it gets busy around 4pm but empty before that. The streets have everything you need. 7/11 right there. Great food all around and massage spots. Breakfast buffet was good, Lots of variety . I will definatley stay here again when I return . They make a great pad Thai too . Thank you Sawaddi .
