The good: breakfast and room service were awesome. Friendly staff. Very beautiful resort. The bad: There is no ocean view in the ocean view rooms because a big tree is blocking the view. There are no spots at the pool and breakfast for all guests. The waiting time for car to take you to breakfast is 20 to 30 minutes and the drivers dont know how to drive. The ugly: They lost some of my clothes during laundry - no reimbursement or appology. They were out of champaigne on new year eve.
As the title says, all-round the resort is perfect. excellent views, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. A big let down was the Italian restaurant. The fine dining experience was horrible. To be specific, the service was great but the food... a lot of improvement is needed!
We believe that this is one of the best resort Hotels in the world. Excellent personnel, whereby at the reception Mr. Prince is specially outstanding. One criticism: The sightseing organization desk is insuffcient and overcharges compared to booking from elsewhere. One suggestion: an elevator from the pool to the beach would be a good improvement .
A beautiful hotel situated in an idyllic elevated position above the beautiful and quiet Nai Thon Beach. The staff were wonderful and very personal and engaging - to the point where the General Manager of the hotel Brett was walking around chatting to people every night, and generously helped us out personally with a child's illness. Such a relaxing place for a holiday.
My cousin and I were greeted with impeccable service the moment we arrived, and the staff were always professional and warm. Our pool villa provided a serene view of the Andaman Sea and we were spoilt rotten by the amenities from the coffee machine to the outdoor pool. The room service is a MUST try. The portions are huge and delicious absolutely worth the price we paid we for it.
After spending a few days in Khao Lak our family decided to take a trip back in Phuket. We decided to stay near the airport at a destination where we have never been before and that was Naithon Beach. Our hotel selection this time was The Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach and totally used our benefits as an Accor Plus Member. We were able to pay a small additional fee so that we would be eligible to get an upgrade to the next room / their highest category for Accor room upgrades. The hotel consist of over 277 Rooms with a wide variety of room types from budget rooms to luxury pool villas overlooking the Andaman Sea. The hotel has a contemporary decor with this cosmopolitan cool feel to it. Some of the highlights of this hotel surely would be sipping cocktails during sunset as you get an incredible breathtaking view. As for the facilities and amenities, you no need to worry as everything that you’d expect is surely all here at this luxurious hotel. Location: The hotel is about a 15-20 minute ride away from from the hotel. It’s in a more quieter part of Phuket in the Naithon Beach area. The hotel is located on a cliff overlooking the Naithon bean and unfortunately, the hotel does not have it’s own private beach but is walking distance to the beachfront by going across a walking bridge which you will need to ask the staff on how to get there. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get there as the staff said you would need to take a car ride to get there when we first arrived at the hotel, but we later on saw that there was a walking crossway to the bridge which was quite unfortunate as we would have love to spend some time on the beach. The hotel is a bit a far distance from everything and you will need transportation to get around, so our recommendation would be to definitely stock up on all the things you may need. Room: We were lucky enough with a bit of tweaking and paying a bit extra, able to get a room upgrade to their highest category for Le Club Accor Members, which was the Ocean Grand room [Note that the Pool Villa is excluded in terms of room upgrades for Le Club Accor Hotel Members]. The room is a 55m2 spacious contemporary room with a balcony overlooking the Andaman sea. The room also includes a medium size bathroom with a regular size bathtub and a separate rain shower, do be careful because the bathroom floor is quite slippery as our daughter did slip a few times. All the amenities were there with the same bath and soap products in every South East Asia Pullman. A nice King Size bed with very comfortable bedding and a pillow menu is available by request. A note to all of everyone who stays in this room is that all the soft drinks in the mini bar are free and refilled on a daily basis. As an Accor Platinum with Plus benefits we were also welcomed with a chocolate platter which I have to say was absolutely delicious and well presented. If you travel with a child you can also request for a baby cot as the hotel does provide the here. The room overall gives off a nice, clean, white, and bright feel to it. Pool & Beach: There are two pools here one is the main pool in the same building as the hotel lobby which is the pool that you see in all the hotel pictures. The pool is truly amazing because it does overlook the Andaman sea and the Naithon Beach. It’s a great place to just sit and soak up the sun all day and surely to see the sunset. When I first got into the pool I realized that it was really warm and I later found out that this pool was actually a heated pool which is acutally really nice even though the weather was really hot. The pool does provide kids pool section with water fountains. Also between the kids pool and the main pool is a separation where you lay in the water and still sun tan which is really nice. This pool however is busy practically the entire day therefore you will have to duke it out at times to get a sun bed. A nice thing about the main pool is they provide these cloths to tie with your sunbed umbrella to give you some shade during very strong harsh sunlight hours. Next to the main pool is also C Bar which services food, drinks, and tasteful cocktails! The other pool, we later on visited on our last day was a more quieter pool located near the kids club on a higher and further part of the hotel. This location has further view of the ocean but it’s still nice. What I liked about this pool is that they also had floating water beds so that you could soak in the pool and suntan at the same time. They also serve drinks at this pool too. This pool is an infinity pool but is not a heated one like the main pool. Food: We had the chance to try out all the restaurants at this stay. We surely benefited from Accor Plus membership as it gave us 50% discount on all food and 15% on beverage. Elements & AZUR is the main restaurant/Bar that serves the buffet breakfast. We actually had all three meals here on different days and the menu does slightly change throughout the day. They provide a standard wide selection of international food from Thai, Western , Italian food. I do have to say that the hotel does provide a great breakfast with a wide variety of eggs, waffles, pan cakes, noodles, juice stations, and even a Bloody Mary station [Impressive!]. The hotel also made us feel very special as we were Platinum members they had provided us with this special serving of dishes presented kind of like high tea, it sure drew a lot of attention as everyone around us was staring and wondering why we received that. Azur is the main pool’s bar which serves lunch and drinks all day long. The bar does provide free water for those who need some H20 during the day. Food here is pretty much the same menu as Elements and I believe it comes from the same kitchen. On our first night there we also tried out Vero their Italian restaurant which was nicely decorated and gives you a feel of fine dining. They served great pasta, pizza and wide selection of wine. Sure the price is a bit higher than elements but it was worth checking out and I would recommend it to anyone who was staying there. Again Accor Plus benefits applies at this restaurant too. Though, the restaurant does present it self to be a fine dining type of place it is kids and family friendly. If you’re Le Club Member you are surely aware that you are entitled to get free welcome drinks and make sure that you redeem them at C Bar around 5-6 PM as that is when the sunsets! It’s the perfect time to go there thought it might be a bit hot depending on the season, but if you like taking pictures it’s a perfect place and time to go do so. C Bar has incredible circular decorated seating overviewing the Andaman sea and Naithon beach. This, besides the main pool, is one of the main attractions of the hotel so it is surely a must go to. Service: Service at the hotel here is nothing but great. You do feel at times that service could be a bit more attentive but understanding considering the size of the hotel and we’d still say that the service was great. The staff politely greeted us every time they saw us and would assist in helping us all the time from the very start to getting us the hotel limousine to the airport. If they were able to remember our daughter and greet her every time I’m pretty sure that means they are paying attention. Now in regards to getting things done or going around the hotel because of the size when you ask for something like additional soap or towels or just getting a ride to the lobby it does take some time. This is due to the size and the number of people staying at the hotel. The hotel has these modified cars [Literally they took out all the doors] working as buggies. Other: The hotel also offers a few great services and activities. We didn’t get a chance to try out the Spa, Gym, or the Mini Golf but we understand that they do offer this at the hotel. However, we did check out the Kids Club here are daughter absolutely loved it. Luckily, we came and visited during Halloween and they had a bunch activities including face painting, decorating, and even a Halloween party for kids. Our daughter because she was so young was a little scared of the face painting of of all the kids but she surely did enjoy all the toys and play area. The staff here was also very kind and helpful in calling buggies and getting things for us. Accor Plus Le Club Platinum Membership Benefits: You’ll be delighted that you’ll fully get all the benefits here. Welcome drink Welcome Platter & Fruit Special VIP treatment during breakfast with special breakfast platter Special Gift [It was a Pullman mini fan] 50% Discount at all Restaurants 15% Discount for drinks [Accor Plus] Free Room Upgrade There isn’t a Lounge here so do ask and you might get a LifeStyles card which gives you some discounts on activities around the hotel Pros Great Sunset Nice and friendly staff Reasonable Pricing of food Great Kids Club A heated pool with a beautiful view Cons Doesn’t have a private beach A bit of waiting around for buggies and request for things for your room Main pool gets very crowded A bit far from everything in Phuket Tips : Go for a room with the view of the ocean view it’s totally worth it Final Thoughts: Overall The Pullman Phuket Naithon Beach is a great family hotel with something for everyone with lots of things to do. Keep in mind that the hotel is a large hotel so you will have to be patient with somethings but they are doing the best that they can. You will absolutely love the view and it’s a great place for taking pictures.
My friends ask me why we always return to this hotel so I tell them to come with us and they'll see and all who have come with us are going to come back, that in itself is a high recommendation. The hotel has a young management who are all hands on and constantly thinking up ideas to make the holiday maker more happy, this year for example a thai market on a wednesday with Muay Thai and soap carving as well as street food and selected tradesmen, an oyster bar with champagne for the more discerning, the essential snacks poolside (the fried calimari is a must) There is also a film night by the float pool once a week these are all new things what remains for those who have not read my first review is the infinity pool which blends into the Andaman Sea on one end and the stunning Naithon Beach on the other, The fabulous breakfasts . But by far and away the fantastic staff which truly make this hotel truly a home away from home. Thank you Brett Benoit Sea Ning Ing Prince Check Cedric Look Moo Min Ae Bonus and Pui and of course Smile and everyone else who made a holiday such a hit as always. See you soon God willing.
Let me start first of with the good. the beach is beautiful, although pretty steep for the kids, but still managable. the hotel facility is pretty upscale from an experience pov, nice staff, and two pools help to chose the right one for you. BF is fantastic, and the both restaurants ok. The kids enjoyed the options for the first 2 days but then after visiting the kids club and spent time in the pool they got sick. vomiting several times and resulting to a 3 days stay in the room! Thing is its wasnt just our children. Many other kids (5-6 kids)have been spending the same way, some even end up at the hospital. The docs said it was either the food or water. Not 100% sure, but fact is it was during our stay at Pullman. Antoher fact is that the small river/pond which is attached to the hotel and running into the sea is contaminated, which no one warned us from. All in all, we enjoyed 2 full days of our 6 nights stay.
Very beautiful hotel and near to the airport. Room is of good size and staffs helpful and friendly. Nice infinity pool and beach. Just a little far from Patong but is good if you prefers a quiet location.
This is just a mediocre resort. I'm comparing to much better 5 start resorts for similar price. -We got twin bed when we booked king. Had to wait 45 minutes for correct room. -Staffs' English is not so good. -Room unmaintained. Door handle hanging loose, front door covered in dirt. Inner front door very flimsy. Minibar empty and never got refilled. -To reach most rooms it requires you to walk up steep slopes outdoors. They use gasoline cars where guests walks so you're always very alert walking there, plus you got to inhale car exhausts a lot. -Lunch and room service menu has same food as breakfast buffet, so I doubt they cook your lunch order/in room order on spot. -Car service to room is more frightening than walking there by yourself. Overall an okay stay, but I won't return.
