The Pullman is a fantastic family resort and pretty close to the airport. The pool looked much larger in photos, however is still quite big with friendly staff that attended to us. Our rooms were spacious and we had an ocean view - a lovely sight, sound and smell early in the morning with a beautiful sunset. The best place to view a magical sunset is from the resort bar, try to go earlier to get the best seats and listen to the acoustic set-up with great local musicians. Ask for happy hour drinks which should be around sunset. Breakfast buffet had a great variety of dishes and the Thai and Seafood dinner buffets were fabulous. I will happily go back to this resort with my family. The only downside is the beach next to the resort. It is not clean and I definitely would not recommend to swim there as opposed to Krabi and Koh Samui beaches.
The hotel is very good, accommodation provided by the hotel is world class and the food is also very good, the location of the hotel is fantastic and the rooms are very organized and specious, we enjoined the time what were stayed there.
Came here with my pregnant wife and my son. Asked at the reception for a room closer to reception but they said it will be possible only if they downgraded us. Something that it didn’t make sense. Anyway they insured us the car/buggies to take us to and from room are available. Went to the room (grand deluxe) very nice and spacious room, very big bed and utilities. Tried to call reception to call a buggie, no answer. After 30min and tried them 5 times, they answered. They said they will call to say when buggie was on it’s way. Received a call go out in 5min, went out and had to wait 15min in a hot evening with pregnant wife and a child. During our 5 days stay tried for a buggie to take us to the room and everytime: u need to wait 10-15min, even though twice the driver and buggie were there, but they had to take/valet cars to parking, to them it was more important. So be prepared to walk some steps and steep hills. Tryed restaurant on the first night, service very slow and unorganised. Food was ok. Breakfast was ok, we’ve had better in some other hotels. Service during breakfast was ok. Pools a bit limited to sun beds, free water on the pool nice touch. Kids fun club very nice and top staff. On Wednesday evening they had like a market in the court yard, very nice idea and entertaining. Beautiful views of Nai Thon beach, from hotel.
After a bit of a mix up to start our visit - great service from ING to sort out our room to be as we had booked - so far food and hotel bars ect all very good Limited sun beds by the pool for number of guests staying in hotel . Staying in ocean view room although not really ocean view as hotel is part of national park do trees can’t be trimmed understandably however should state on website Lots of stairs and hills to get to rooms so need to be fit or hotel do provide a shuttle to rooms very high up - location and all public areas standards are excellent . Grand ocean view room is Very good although tight space for 2 adults and a child ( requested sofa removed ) So far all very good
We hope we could stay longer at Pullman Acadia Phuket. 2 Night was too short.Staff and service is so great, everyone is friendly and helpful. Room is very confortable and relax. View is worldclass. We will come back again.
I made a booking via Hotels.com for Pullman Phuket Arcadia on 3/4/2018 and selected the BOOK NOW PAY LATER WITH THE HOTEL & FREE CANCELLATION UNTIL 18/8/2018. Hotels.com took my credit to secure the booking. I then cancelled my booking on the same day as my travel plans have changed. Both the booking confirmation and cancellation emails specify that I have FREE CANCELLATION UNTIL 6PM 18/8/2018. My credit card was charged on 3/4/2018. When I asked Hotels.com, they said they didn’t take the charge and asked me to contact Pullman to resolve the issue. Pullman refused to refund me and said that the charge for the first night is non-refundable. Both these companies are to blame as they do not understand their booking terms!
Check in: When we were dropped off at the lobby after 2pm we were told our room wasn’t ready. The staff politely asked us to wait an hour prior to our key being available. We instead asked them to call a taxi and went off site for an hour. We returned back and the room still was not ready for another 30 mins. Transport around the resort: at the lobby they transport you to and from your room however this can be incredibly time consuming and you can wait up to 30 mins for a car to drop you off or collect you. The room: beautiful, comfortable, quiet and fully equipped. Minor issue was that we didn’t have any spare toilet paper. Buffet breakfast: this breaky service has everything you can want and more. Egg station, juice bar, waffle/ pancakes, bakery, hot savoury selection, Thai selection and much more. They also bring coffee directly to the table 👌🏻 The resort views are amazing. There is an hourly shuttle to naithon beach. We didn’t use the main pool but from what we observed get in early as people reserve chairs with their towels. The location is a very quiet beach setting with half a dozen restaurants nearby and no nightlife. This is a place for a relaxed, no hurry vacation. My recommendations to the resort include additional buggies for transport, additional staff for driving the buggies and additional house keeping staff to ensure the rooms are available at checkin.
Gorgeous hotel with access to nice beach. Peaceful infinity edge pool overlooking the water is a perfect place to watch the sun set. There r 2 restaurant options, Elements (where you have breakfast and Thai/International menu for dinner) and Vero (Italian restaurant), both r good, but service is slow. Happy hour daily from 4:00-6:00 and they have a beach bag and beach towels to use in your room. The staff is nice but not all over the top accommodating (like in our other hotels in Thailand). Some examples... Body soap, shampoo, etc was not replaced, hard to find service at the pool (and slow when you do). If you have a hard time walking up and downhill request a room by the pool lobby. Great breakfast buffet. Recommend the massage place on the beach next to the hotel (white modern building that is closest to the hotel). U r not very close to Phuket town but only 20 min from airport. Highly recommend John Grey's kayaking trip (our travel agent set it up). Ask for Oopsy as a guide. ***Don't do scuba trip hotel sets up... NOT GOOD!
Well, it is indeed a nice hotel. But to clame it as 5 star deluxe is overrated. Maybe all the criteria for 5 stars are met, but the quality is hardly recognizable. Cleaning of the rooms were lack full. We dropped a peanut one of the first days right on top of the carpet (by accident). A week later it was still there! The schedule for when the cleaning was done varied a lot. We never knew when it was done. And we did actually run out of toilet paper and had to contact reception to get some at a critical point. The breakfast was OK. Not fantastic, but OK! The service in the breakfast area was nice but stressed. The pool bar was not very nice. The staff seemed annoyed by requests and took forever to create 2 poorly made smoothies. And at times, early in the day before 10, they ran out of towels. At the pool, which is dreamy, the staff allowed a big group of young Americans to have a loud pool party for several hours. They played loud music and were drunk. I asked them nicely to be less loud. They just laughed at me. Then I asked the staff at the pool for help. Nothing happened. That is simply not acceptable. It is supposed to be a deluxe resort not a highschool party. I have tried several 5 star deluxe hotels in Phuket. This one is not my favorite but not the worse either. The room it self (Grand deluxe) was spacious and had a wonderful bed and huge balcony and a spectacular view. The condition of the bathroom were poor. The shower had 2 shower heads. A regular and a rain shower. Both were somewhat broken. And the floor was not leveled correctly which resulted in puddles of water. The door to the toilet was a bit difficult to handle and I got my fingers stuck in it two times. The fact that the hotel was on a hillside and required skills for hiking I did not frown upon. I actually found it quite challenging in a good way. The location near the village of Ni Thon is preferred over some hotels located either solitary at the beach or in the middle of a noisy town.
An excellent personalized welcome, in a luxurious nature Clean, perfect and well decorated rooms with views Professional and attentive staff A silence zone @the top pool with a view and its charming café for a snack under the shade Direct and private access to the sea from the main pool with terrific view on Naithon Bay Excellent Italian restaurant @Vero open for dinner Perfect for lovers, Families (or Groups) Real and sincere recognition for members of the Accor program. I was blown away. Congratulations, we will come back soon
