It was a short walk from town about 10 mins where there were plenty of bars and restaurants to provide sustenance ! Big clean room, lot's of Cable channel, fully equipped kitchen, big balcony and the best part is the private roof top jacuzzi pool. The staff were all wonderful, cheerful and always welcomed you. Would stay again, and would recommend it to anyone in Phuket.
Unfortunately this hotel seems to be well past it's prime. Needs a whole lot of love to bring it back. Many safety issues that of not rectified will be major issues in years to come. This resort seems to mainly cater for Chinese tours. Had to ask for maintenance to be done which is a shame because rooms should be checked that they are up to scratch before visitors come. On the plus side, if it wasn't for the awesome staff, this place would really suffer. The staff are amazing, prompt, efficient, very helpful and very happy which makes a huge difference. To the owners of this hotel, your staff are your biggest asset. My family and I couldn't fault them and they would be an asset to any hotel. This could return to glory but needs major love and not just a little polish.
Very friendly staff, great hotel, a little out of the way but great if you want to be away from The hustle and bustle of Karon. Only 15 minutes away from Patong if you want to party, about 400 Bart in a taxi. Would recommend.
Good hotel, very friendly staff.. not to far from the beach (they provide a shuttle service also) There's a 7/11 (mini mart) close by also. Special mention to the hotel masseuse who was also excellent.
Beautiful resort room was spacious and the air con was great the customer service and front desk are probably the best I've seen the beds are slightly hard but I found it comfty and it backs onto a rainforest which looks amazing at dawn and dusk the only reason I haven't gave 5 stars is the food at the resort is poor we tried the restaurant a couple of times as we had the all you can eat breakfast added in but we rarely went after about the fourth day the bacon and sausage are strange to say the least and choices like spag Bol and fried rice but it wasn't nice at all the drinks are okay all in all I'd stay here again probably wouldn't bother with breakfast and would go next door to their restaurant instead as that was a similar price and the food was superb
The hotel was booked on expedia.com. We had family suite which where quite big, 2 bathrooms, three sleeping areas, have small kitchen and there is also a Jacuzzi in the rooftop. It was all clean, area very quiet, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to Karon beach for walk around fifteen minute.
I'm sure this hotel when it first opened may have been a 4*, the hotel has the facilities to be awarded those stars, however, having stayed there, I would not give this place anymore than 2. The hospitality was 0 to none. I stayed there with my family for 16 nights, witnessed things that made me want to do projectile vomit. To start with, after such a long journey with 3 kids 4 and under, you would think they would give you a welcome drink. That did not exist, when we entered our room, it had ants, bedsheets with hole in it. The rooms facility was fine but cleanliness was not there, we were in two bedroom junior ensuite, master room had bath with jacuzzi, the rim of the bath was so disgusting, it looked like years of dirt had been collected, nothing an elbow grease couldn't take out, glass sinks were grimy. The toilet seat had stain on. My kids room toilet seat was broken and no one fixed it. I witnessed the cleaners just wiping the floor toilet and bath with a wet towel, not actual cleaning product was used although you will find that they carry it round in their cleaning bucket with both toilet brush and sponges all mixed. Hygiene did not exist, I even witnessed the cleaners attempt to clean the bath with toilet brush, upon seeing that I made a polite request to clean the bath with sponge and product, which she did, I don't remember the reason for my presence in the bathroom but praise the Lord I saw it. In the restaurant there were plenty chipped plates, it just went to show that there was no care for reputation, some even had dark marks on it. Besides the two ladies that were making omelette/eggs, the rest of the staff tall guy and a short girl at the front had the worst sour face you could see. The staff took no interest to get to know you, one morning the tall guy in the restaurant tried stopping me from having breakfast asking if it's my second having mistook me for someone else. It was very unprofessional and embarrassing encounter, at that point I had been staying at the hotel for over a week. There was no sense of customer care, often my husband or I would eat with our eldest, whilst one of us would be babysitting the children that were sleeping to avoid crankiness. I spoke to the staff and told them time to time when we don't come down as a family, I will take couple of slices of bread or cereal for my children to eat when they wake up, they seemed ok, however, on one occasion same guy just stopped saying I'm not allowed to take the food, then the other staff told him I'm allowed, just goes to show that there is no courtesy and hospitality or tact. The swimming pool was slippery especially when we tried to enter the jacuzzi, it was so slipper, if you're not mindful you could crack open your head. It crossed my mind to take pic, but I totally forgot with kids in tow, here's one from the swimming pool, (zoomed circle shows the dirt around the entire pool). I'd say to anyone who is looking for a genuine 4*, please please STAY AWAY from this place!! It needs serious management to become a genuine 4*. Needs a GOOD CLEAN and hospitality that is both inviting and going the extra step could help, won't say mile here that's too ambitious.
This hotel was very inviting to us after we'd spend four hot days in the back country. When all seven of us walked through reception's front door all sweaty and dirty, we were greeted with big smiles, cold drinks, and a soft demeanor that immediately put us at ease. I do not share the "A let down" reviewer's opinion ("2 staff's who can barely speak english" - nice job dude - by the way, IT'S THAILAND!) because the staff communicated with us carefully and clearly and met all of our needs quickly and courteously. They even endeavored to take care of a difficult large-quantity, last-minute laundry need in less than 12 hours. As to the property, it is a lovely place that has a nice bit of Thai flair. The suite was spacious with a couch, a large and comfortable chair, a coffee table, and a kitchen area. The attached bedrooms were also a good, comfortable size with comfortable beds, nightstands, and cabinets for our stuff. The large balcony for our room served us well, and the place where breakfast was served was spacious and comfortable. By the way, we really liked the breakfast. Being a little away from the beach, the price for the hotel is outstanding when compared to the oceanside ones. But the beach is in easy reach. If I have one gripe, it is that the internet was spotty. We wandered throughout the room, looking for the perfect spot for constant reception and found the balcony was best.
This hotel is horrible, the reception area is a small room consisting of 1 or 2 staff's who can barely speak english. On arrival they didn't even have the decency to offer us a drink or water although we had travelled thousands of miles to get there. I find the staff to be rude and inconsiderate, they are not friendly like the other hotels i have stayed in. This hotel is definitely not a 4 star, I would rate it a 2 star. The bathrooms are so horrible and dated that i would have to hurry when i'm in there, they are full of mosquitoes and taps are leaking and broken, the cleaners do not touch the bathroom. The wifi is one of the worst I have ever experienced, it is constantly losing connection and you are always prompted to reconnect with password every hour or so. The location of the hotel is also really bad, it is a 20 mins walk from the main centre and shops and you have to walk up a very steep hill. Good luck with booking this hotel, i feel frustrated that my holiday was ruined as i had trusted the reviews on this hotel (surprisingly they are good - maybe cause they are old).
The hotel stay was incredible. I loved the staff, they made my trip that much better. They would schedule anything I wanted to do at a better rate. I loved the manager, she really touched us with an amazing and personal stay. I will use them on all my trips to Phuket. Alex & David will be back.😎
