Where to start.. Myself and my husband were put in Centara villa's for the last 4 days of our honeymoon. We would have rather gone home 4 days early then leave the bad memory of this place. We arrived at Centara villa's on the 23rd July and first impressions were great. A refreshing drink and a cold flannel to freshen up. Once we had gone through all the formality's we were shown to our room. What a disappointment, the room is tiny, the bathroom is basically a small wet room and the room was filthy with used cotton buds left on the floor. 10 minutes after we arrived at our room we were interrupted by tradesmen who came to change the blinds. We arrived at 2.30pm, so why wasn't this done before our arrival. We then had to wait outside our room for 30 minutes while they changed the blinds. We had been traveling all day, was hot, tired and we just wanted to unpack. After speaking to the travel agent we asked for an upgraded room as the one we were in was horrid and no worthy of a 4-star status, nor that of a honeymoon. We then received a call from the hotel who had advised us they would be moving us to a room with a pool. Great. We excitedly walked up to the reception (a long steep walk) to be shown to our new room. To our disappointment, the room was exactly the same just closer to the main pool. Going back to our room we decided to just try and make the best of it and had asked for our free bottle of sparkling wine. The very rude member of staff on the phone said we would have to give a copy of our marriage certificate in order to get this. After explaining that I wouldn't bring my marriage certificate on holiday with me and I certainly wouldn't give a copy of this to the hotel they said a picture with the date on would be acceptable. After walking back up to the reception to show the picture, I was advised it would have to be emailed over and was handed a bit of paper with an email address. I went back to my room and emailed over the picture. After waiting for half an hour called the reception to see when the wine was coming, they had not received my email and after checking the address it was revealed a member of staff had given me their personal email address who now had a photo of my wedding day and personal details. This was the last straw for us so we walked back up to the hotel and complained to the hotel reception who was rude and made out it was my fault for sending it to the wrong address!!!! The hotel manager walked past whilst we were complaining and we were directed his way. After explaining all of our frustrations he offered us an upgraded room with a swimming pool. By this time it was dark so the pool looked beautiful and lit up, however in the morning we realized it was dirty. The pool wasn't the only thing dirty as there was what can only be described as faeces on the bathroom floor by the toilet, and yellow/brown water coming out of the shower. However, we were now so sick of complaining we didn't say anything. The next day we walked to the beach, the walk was treaturous and took a lot longer than expected. However, if you wanted to leave the complex it was either walk or pay 250 bhat to get there. Considering it cost us 200 Bhat to get back we felt ripped off. They do have a shuttle bus service but you have to be there at either 10 am or 4pm. On our last day, we were asked to move back to our original room as the room with the pool had been booked out, we did this without complaining but asked for late check out on the day of departure as we weren't being picked up until 5 pm. We were told to check back in the morning. The next morning came and we were advised late check out was not possible and we had until 1 pm to check out. We were there out of season, the pool and restaurants were empty and they were not overbooked so I don't understand why we couldn't have a late checkout. Upon checking out we were advised we would have to leave our bags in reception. there was no separate room and our bags were just left there all day. We had no room to freshen up in before traveling and had to shower in the spa which didn't even lock! I've never made a bad review before, however as this hotel has left a bad memory on my honeymoon I felt inclined to leave this review.

If you visit Phuket Thailand, you have to stay at the Centara Villas Phuket. The employees are great and are always willing to assist you to make your stay the best. The location of the Villas is perfectly placed to give you a beautiful view of the ocean. Each morning you wake up to the sound of ocean and the Ocean breeze. This was a find like no other. I will always remember my stay there. When you visit say hello to Karn (front desk), to May when you eat breakfast and Nok & K at the pool bar. They're always willing to make your stay enjoyable.

This hotel was recommended by a local friend. I can now recommend it to everyone. I had a GREAT room, #104. Specious enough, comfortable bed, mini bar, spacious bathroom, and well maintained property. My view of the ocean was spectacular (see some of the pics). We were able to trek down from the property along a well worn path to the beach itself. All of this could be accomplished in 10-15 minutes. The location is a 15 minutes drive from Patong, and by taxi costs about 200 - 300 Baht one-way. The trip back to the property from Patong could cost you a little more depending on the time you are coming back. You can negotiate, but expect 400-500 Baht for the trip back. The property sits on a hill and provides a spectacular view of the ocean. But it was the staff that made the trip memorable. Nok and K at the Bayview Bar and Restaurant by the pool were very pleasant and always made us feel welcomed at the bar. They allowed us to play our music during the days where the rain hampered any outdoor tours. Always made sure we knew about the specials. For breakfast at the Restaurant near the Lobby, we were warmly greeted with a smile by Bon, Num, May and Yu who tended to us for coffee and tea as well as our seating. It truly was a pleasure having breakfast with them every morning. At the front desk, Mint and Noom made sure our check-in process was smooth and hasslefree. They also provided a very quick and easy check-out process as well and reminded us of the offer to return to Centara or any Centara propery with a 30% off coupon. I want to also makde sure to mention Wa, Air, Kan, Yee and Tum. Whether it was picking us up or dropping us off with the cart, ordering a taxi for us for transportation, assisting us with booking a tour, or just guiding us around the property, everyone worked as a team to make sure our stay at Centara was hassle free. It was, hands down. The Centara staff made our stay the excellent stay that it was. You should be very proud of them and I am glad to have met them.

We stayed at room no 303 at Centara Villas at the Karon beach from 25 Jun 2017 to 28 June 2017. This is an exclusive property on cliff at Karon beach. We stayed at one of the ocean facing villas it was an amazing experience. There are 2 swimming pools and 2 restaurants. The breakfast fast is good they had assorted breads, a wide variety of cold cuts, sausages, balonies, bacon, eggs, prawn dimsums, detox water etc.  There is a pathway to Karon beach which closes down at 6 p.m. Karon beach market is about a 5-7 min walk by the beach or 200 Bhat (one way) by Tuk Tuk and Taxi. The staff here are very modest and always ready to help. They make you feel welcome. The rooms are very tastefully done up and maintained well. The Tuk Tuk service in the resort is just a phone call away. They have a nice and cosy Business Center as well.  Incase you want to go to a quiet exotic place to spend time with your partner, this is the place.

People don't speak English .very difficult for them to understand what you want.rooms have all the kind of small animals going inside from the bathroom since it doesn't have windows.i changed 3 times rooms in 10 days.the worst hotel I have ever gone.

My wife, daughter and I all came here for a long weekend getaway. I arranged pick up from the airport and the driver was there waiting for us with a sign and quickly got the car pulled around. It was a decent drive to the hotel, but that was okay, we all took a nap in the car. Check-in was very smooth, we were given cold towels and juice which my daughter loved. I think right away I could tell this was going to be a hotel with great service based on the way the staff played with her while I filled in my forms. A car took us around to our villa overlooking the ocean which was a great choice. It has a plunge pool that I have been in every day with my kid and makes it nice not to have to go down to the hotel pool (quick walk) or the beach (slightly longer walk). The villa was well prepared and one of the front desk folks helped out with showing us how to use everything. Great value for money room in my opinion. The food here has been great. Spicy Thai food (as we asked for) for lunch and really great Thai food for dinner. We haven't tried out any of the western food. The best thing besides the food has been the service though, every meal everyone is helpful with our daughter and also enjoys playing with her and amusing her! We couldn't ask for better service staff! One other thing I'd like to point out is that the hotel sends you a form (from their main site) to fill in about your stay. We had a bit of an issue with the tub feature ( have just been showering so no biggie) but I listed that down on their form. Someone came by to check on it not two hours later which I thought was amazing! I didn't expect someone to read that for a really long time, but having someone both read and recognize there was a problem was great. I would really recommend this hotel. It isn't too far from town, the villas and food are great and the staff is excellent with helping as much as they can. You can stay at more expensive places to get your own pool, etc. but this place really takes the cake for us!

Excellent staff, more than helpful. The room is big and clean, the buffet breakfast had a great variety and was always fresh. Definitely come back. We were so happy to be there and of course we will recommend to our friends for sure.

We booked centara villas phuket having stayed in your Ko samui resort which we loved. The resort is fine perhaps alittle tired and yes lots of biting bugs which we can deal with and expect given the location. What we are very disappointed in is the food at the restaurant. Waited an hour for a sandwich and salad lunch time with only 3 tables being used it wasn't worth the wait. But it's the main restaurant dear oh dear very pricey for below standard food. Had the thai delights buffet well nothing delightfull about it and not very thai. Left feeling hungry and dissapointed. Such a shame I guess it's our own fault should have know as the restaurant is pretty much empty most nights. I can't believe im in Thailand yet We can eat better thai food at my local pub in the uk such ashame. I would only recommend staying here if you don't plan on eating and are young or fit enof to move around the resort. Would I stay again? No! Sorry guys! Lovely staff and nice views. Kind regards.

My husband and I had a 10 night stay with Centara Villa's Phuket in the Pool Villa, this is our third time we have stayed here at Centara Villa's, as it is still a beautiful place to stay. The staff are fantastic here and I love all their beautiful smiles, Mint, Opol and Gee'O' at reception. Bon and Bank in the Restaurants and Yee the Transfer Driver, I apologise if I have not mentioned your name, but you are all lovely people and do a fantastic job, so thank you for making our experience staying with you most enjoyable. I went to the Cenvaree Spa a few times, and this experience was lovely, a must do if you have time on your hands and want to relax around the facilities for a day or so. The Pool Villa is fantastic, I have read previous reviews saying that the resort needs updating, however the resort has a characteristic about it and feels like you are in a rainforest environment, so I don't think it needs updating, it's a really nice place with good facilities. Well done to all staff, what a beautiful place to stay :) Take care and hope to see you all soon again one day!!
