A sweet surprise in the center of it all.

What a great place to stay. Almost centrally located to everything you want to be near. Shopping, restaurants, tours, the beach!!!, and street vendors are so close by. The manager Skandar was exceptionally nice and helpful. All his suggestions and tips were spot on for us. I think he went out of his way to make sure our stay was the best in Phuket. He even booked flights for us to trek off to Bangkok a few days. When I come back to Patong, which I will, I will stay at the Andatel every time. The whole staff was so pleasant and very polite so you feel at home with them. That pool after a long day is so refreshing, wish it were open all night for late night dips in the cool water. Patong is humid you know! Love this place!

I just finished a week at Andatel and it was wonderful. Great and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. The security is top notch. I felt very comfortable and will definitely stay again. Rest assured it is exactly as advertised, even the pictures.

Wouldn't stay at this hotel again

Whilst the pictures look great the hotel is best discribed as an outdated hotel that is poorly designed and maintained. The reception/restraunt area is dull and non functional, with 4 small fans in a large area. There is no way of not getting wet between the reception area and the rooms. WIFI not working most of the time and when working very slow in that get timeouts, which didn't occur across the road at Kens Resturant. No "do not distrube" signs available, door bell not working. House keeping start at 08.30 am and knock loudly on each door yelling "house keeping" numerious times for every room. In addition house keeping carry radios which sound like the volume is on maximum. Water supply to room on 5th floor by pump. Every 10 seconds presure decreases and when increases again get scolding water followed by cold water before returning to desired temp. Pool between buildings gets no sun at all so consequently water is very cold. Better off at the beach. If you are after a comfortable stay at a hotel then suggest you don't stay at this hotel.

- Front desk was very unpleasant. - The pillows & bed sheets had horrible smell as if they have not been washed. - Shower did not work properly. - WiFi was very slow. - Elevator was out of service and almost fell taking my luggage down the stairs.

Quite a walking distance to Bangla Rd

Nothing special about this hotel. - No free Mineral water in the room - Hard bed - Pillow stinks - Toilet sink leakage - Low water pressure - Room service staff can't barely speak English Definitely not coming back.

All ok except smelly pillows.

I requested for change of pillows as they are smelly. Staff are friendly and had them changed, but the changed ones are still smelly. In the end I didn't sleep well.

This is not a 4* hotel, ive stayed in a lot nicer hostels than this. The room was poorly lit and in need of some work to bring it up to date. The wifi was poor and the tv non existent. I know i didnt come to thailand for wifi and tv but as its raining thats what i was looking for. The room was cheap but everything about it was also but should not be advertised as 4* the staff were very nice but i ended up leaving and finding another hotel.
