Decided to have a mid winter break from the cold. Found a deal on the web and booked this excellent hotel. Situated near all the fun spots but far enough away from the noise of this vibrant town . Room was a budget room overlooking the pool but was clean and tidy ( little tired could do with a refresh) Staff provide service above and beyond the norm. They are friendly and engage in conversation enquiring on well being and plans for the day The breakfast buffet was adequate. Lunch around the pool the standard pizza burger club sandwich menu. Being off season plenty of beds on the shady and sunny terraces. Fully recommend a stay.
Andaman Embrace is located in the lively Phuket district of Patong. It is well located near to restaurants and the beach. The hotel is a good standard for 4/5 stars in Thailand. The rooms are modern and clean. It has a cool pool with a bar and a DJ. The best thing about the hotel is the value; it is incredibly cheap for what you get.
This is our third stay in Patong we decided to stay at the Andaman Embrace hotel & boy we were not disappointed.. the staff are so beautiful & friendly I can't say enough in regards to them. We stayed 14nights in the cottages for the quietness & yes it was that & more. Very private & a beautiful setting.. It's walking distance to joncelyn shopping centre & Bangla road, end of the street is amazing food markets just opposite the beach.. we personally love the location.. all we needed was a comfortable bed, shower, definitely aircon & fridge & coffee making facilities & the hotel delivered.. It's not a 5 star hotel I'd put it at 3 3/4 to 4.. we had a great stay & were well looked after.. it's what you make of your holiday, don't sweat the little stuff..
A four or four and a half star hotel in great location in Patong. Want to avoid traffic noises or Bangla, but still want to be near the beach and Juncleon shopping center, then choose this hotel. It has also a small garden and bungalov cottages where we were upgraded. Hotel has a decent pool and pool bar, great breakfast but quite poor gym. + location + breakfast + Friendly staff + Garden area - a bit old and dated hotel - Slow wifi (test gave even as low as 1 mbit/s speeds. No way to have whatsapp or skype calls using the wifi - The cottages have no sound isolation at all. In the morning you can hear the cleaners start moving their trollies behind the cottage corridor. Same cottage has two residents. Unfortunately you can hear whatever happening in the next room. We heard talking and sounds when adults have fun withouth talk
The room had mould odour and required us to purchase Eucalyptus spray to use each time we entered room, this was always increased when opening or closing window drapes or just sitting on furniture or turning your pillow over - I would recommend each room had a thorough wipe down and replacement of furnishings. The hotel generally looking sad requiring update, rusty balcony and pealing paint and certainly staff just hanging around all day could be cleaning,a thin film of grubbiness not up to 4 star.So much potential not being used. WiFi inconsistent
The one bedroom 2 bathroom suite was huge and had a big patio overlooking the ocean, which was a block away. Good location about 10 min walk to Bangla rd if that's what you are into. Our friends stayed in the standard rooms which were very good price for the quality. The pool was great, friendly staff but we didn't enjoy the breakfast food or service quality (stale bread, no table service for coffee/tea even though 4 staff were standing around doing nothing). Beds were hard. When will Thai hotels start supplying softer mattresses that don't feel like sleeping on the ground???)
I was disappointed on arrival the rooms were dated but they were clean. The staff were very helpful with the problems we had with booking ie trundle bed was paid for along with breakfasts for the extra guest however on arrival they charged us for them to later refund them. The beds were extremely hard the pillows made up for this. The pool was uncleaned there was a ring of discoloration around the top of the tiles oily. The spa was over priced and there were many other spas around the area which were better priced. We had a garden view room which overlooked the pond and could see the ocean pleasant outlook until you looked at the eaves which were falling down and a bird was nesting in there..
We went to Patong on a Scoopon package. The hotel was FANTASTIC! Great breakfast buffet. Nice pool. Friendly and very helpful staff. Lovely room - king size bed, well equipped bathroom. Great daily room service. Couldn't ask for more. Will go to the Andaman Embrace again!!!
You will stay with ease since the hotel has 2 JP staffs. It'll be better to grab some drinks or eat some food in the swimming pool that would make you relax. In addition, the water in the swimming pool is warm enough. I could enjoy breakfast there as well. It would be worth staying there. However, it is true that most of the Housekeepers can neither understand English nor speak it at all (every hotel has the same issue though). You mustn't expect it from them at all.Thanks.
Stayed at Andaman Embrace for 10 nights on a really good package deal and found some good and bad points, firstly the good Staff were always friendly and helpful Room was a good size and clean Food purchased at Sino was always great Very close to the beach and the heart of Patong beach Now the not so good The bed was extremely firm and I found it hurt my back The Twigs restaurant was never open ( only for breakfast) even though it's says in room booklet it's open daily till 11pm Same goes for the mini mart It was closed long before the advertised time lucky there is a family Mart right across the road for supplies The room furniture are very outdated The pool even though was very refreshing to swim in seemed dirty having dead bugs constantly floating around in it , I never saw anyone cleaning the pool The place needed like a games room or something to do on those rainy days when there was any much to do Despite the downfalls I did have an enjoyable stay , would I stay at this particular place again I'm not sure if a good deal come up I may do but not at the normal rate
