Scary experience

I had to wait a little bit for the front desk person to come check me in. Then I was told they were booked for the night but I still had a room. I went to my room - spotless and clean. All the sudden someone tried to come in the room saying it was maintenance. When I went to the door and didn’t open they still tried to come in. I told them have the manager call and wouldn’t open it. I am very glad I had the top lock on so no one could come in even with a key. Some manager called and said no one is supposed to be in the room when it rains and told me to look for water. I was on the second floor not the top floor. There was not a single water spot anywhere or stain anywhere even though I was told by the caller that water comes in. I have to wonder if whoever tried to come in was honest. Sorry but not really. I am disappointed because it is a nice hotel but I am also unsure I would go back because it was scary as a female. In the end I didn’t have to leave the room but it was unsettling and I should get my money back.

The walls are very thin and you can hear people in the hallway. You can hear people in the next room, even if you're having a conversation on the phone the person you're on the phone with can hear the people in the next room.

Read the negative reviews because they are the ones from actual guests. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Walls are thin as cardboard and families on welfare live here in multiple rooms, so you hear everything: dogs, children jumping on beds and hitting the walls, doors constantly slamming, TVs, arguments, parties, loud phone conversations, all day, all night. The halls constantly smell like marijuana, there is no maid service, and many people like us have mentioned in reviews how surprise charges appear when they already somehow charged more than the Expedia rate was supposed to be! We checked out a day early, then saw an additional charge on our credit card. Called and they said the charge was because we never checked out! They agreed to refund the charge plus our last day, but no refund ever occurred. Called again and they wrote down my number and said they would call me back. Never did. I will have to address this in person.
