Everything was great. We did have a moth in the room when we checked in and day we left. Only downside. Pool with dead bees & things from over hanging trees.

Fabulous resort in a beautiful setting. The room was spacious, well laid out. The terrace provided a quiet place to view the desert. The bathroom was large and luxurious. The grounds were simply stunning. I ate at two of the restaurants on site and both were delicious. The staff was universally helpful and welcoming.

Not normally one to write a review but this place was fantastic. The grounds and surroundings were beautiful. The staff was truly unbelievably friendly at every instance. Saw the pool wait staff serving drinks in a terential downpour. Food and drinks were fantastic. Got a great deal by going in the "off season". Wouldn't stay anywhere else at our next trip.

Truly exceptional property and the staff was amazing! Will be back soon and cannot wait! Easy walking distance to some great hiking trails and the complimentary morning coffee and muffins are a nice way to begin the day.

The service was great (as usual for FS). Note that we visited at an off-season time, so it wasn't very crowded. This hotel was not stuffy the way luxury hotels can sometimes be. The food was good, view was great from the bar/restaurant's balcony. Pool is not very big, but the water misters do the trick for staying cool.

Loved the hotel. Service (outside of restaurants) was impeccable. Pools were ideal because there was an adults only pool as well. My only complaint on service is re: the experience in restaurants. We routinely sat and waited for a waiter to acknowledge us, take an order, etc...definitely not in line with the 4 Seasons service experiences.

My fiance and I spent a long birthday weekend at Troon North, just relaxing on road trips (Sedona, Apache Trail, Frank Lloyd Wright sites), and relaxing at the resort at night while looking out into the open skies from our hotel room, which was facing a cactus and stone-adorned beautiful desertscape. We noticed that not all hotel rooms get a view comparable with ours -- so try to get a room on the second floor, as the bottom floor ones are dark and their terraces (the best part of the room) are more a concrete cave-like gazebo than an open, sun-lit terrace. Service was impeccable, the food was good, the pool was definitely too loud during the day (kids!), but fantastic at night. The hot tub by the main pool is also a great evening activity, when the desert coolness settles in and it's so nice then to submerge into hot water under the stars. Overall, a pretty spectacular place although definitely very expensive.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Well pointed and elegant with a family friendly vibe that catered to us and our toddler -like a 1' pool, small chaises and tables especially for kids and a fun, kid-friendly restaurant with delicious food. They have thought of everything so we had to think of nothing, which makes for a perfectly relaxing vacation.

This property certainly lives up to its AAA Five Diamond ranking. The location of the resort is somewhat remote and away from the business district of Scottsdale. To me, this was a plus. The resort is situated in a posh residential area next to Crescent Butte and Pinnacle Peak Park. This makes for a tranquil and beautiful setting. Our room was spacious, modern, and had a wonderful view of Crescent Butte. There were top-notch amenities in the room. The staff throughout the property was accommodating, helpful, and friendly. The pool staff does not accept gratuities. I feel this policy further proves that the resort is a genuinely classy place. At check-in, the staff member asked me about my planned activities, and so I told him I was running a race early the next morning. As I was leaving the front desk after registering several minutes later, he specifically remembered to wish me good luck in the race and a pleasant stay at the resort. A few days later, I asked the concierge for directions to an area attraction. She took the time to review a map for me to show me exactly where to go. Small details that are what make this resort stand out among the others in Scottsdale. There were no misbehaving children aimlessly running around the property, which sometimes is the case at other lesser expensive resorts. Overall, we had a great time, and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is stunning, the natural landscape is breathtaking and the staff is polite, chipper and professional. We were there in July and our room rate was a bargain however, the price of food at the restaurants was gasp!! Yes, it is great quality, terrific presentation and amazing service but 50.00 for breakfast? One night we had appetizers at the bar and one afternoon, we had sandwiches at the pool. These experiences were fairly priced, sort of. Its as if the hotel made up for the terrific room rate on the food. Now I know some of the tricks to save on food, so If I return (and I plan to!!) I will put these plans in action.

I have never stayed in a more family friendly hotel. Yes, that's what I said. Our room had bumpers on the furniture to protect our toddler as well as a completely equipped crib. The kiddie pool was large and had toddler size tables, and chairs. Children's menu was outstanding. All food was just delicious. We saw no reason to leave the hotel. We are going back for sure. While the Four Seasons may be considered expensive you really get a lot for your money. We had three generations on our weekend vacation and there was something for everyone.

We had a wonderful experience and would recommend to everyone

Wonderful getaway for an amazing value!

This hotel was luxury in the desert. Friendly staff. Nice room. My wife says very pretty, and she is no easy judge!

Loved the place, everything I wanted, and a very nice/quiet/comfortable room.

Sauna facilities and staff were first class with a nice reading area. The only negative is that normal check in after 4:00 PM is for real geez. I quess they need less staff upfront and more in the back cleaning the rooms.
