This was our 2nd stay at the holland in a 3 month period. We love the entire island, beautiful beaches all around. You have amazing and delicious restaurants all around at walking distance from the hotel. 100% recommend the restaurant at the property. A lot of shopping stores up and down the entire area. Everything does close early here (5pm, each place has its own time) which to us was no issue at all. There are a few restaurants near or close by that do close later in the night. We did rent a car to explore the island and were able to go have late dinners at other places outside of downtown philipsburg. I would strongly recommend getting a rental. Walking on to the property you see the beautiful view of the beach, the balcony view is breath taking. You have beach access with beach chairs, umbrella and towels. Our second stay the bed was super comfortable. The rooms are amazing with great space, very accommodating, clean and stocked with the toiletry needed. Truly a great place to stay, and for a fact is due to all the hard working staff. The staff is AMAZING and they make your stay very welcoming…I can go on and on about how great the entire staff is. The holland will be our place to stay anytime we come back.

This hotel is truly an incredible experience! From its prime location to the delicious food and stunning views, every aspect is impressive. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and the rooms are spotless, modern, and inviting. The staff members are welcoming and friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere. The hotel rooms are modern and the decore is beautifully minimalist. Balcony on the beach omg a must have. Area is quiet but a tive when cruises come in. Staff was A+ so kind, so courteous attentive and pleasant. Best staff Ive encountoured on vacation this year. Very friendly, love them. Gorgous beach views. Neach is steps from the hotel. Waterfront, hotel restaurant's food is amazing, and tastes great. Drinks are strong enough, bartender was nice. Hotel is astetically pleasing. You will live it at Holland House, it's my hotel of choice.

This is the place to stay in Philipsburg. The hotel is clean, beautiful, and welcoming. The staff were incredible, always greeting us with a smile. The front desk helped call us a taxi service, and they were very reasonable. The food and drinks at the restaurant were exceptional. The beach and sunsets were spectacular. I would definitely choose this place again.

I recently stayed at the Holland House Hotel in St. Maarten and had a really enjoyable experience. The location is absolutely perfect — right on the beach and in the heart of Philipsburg. Waking up to ocean views and being steps away from the boardwalk was a definite highlight. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, with a great balcony to relax on. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the included breakfast was a nice bonus — fresh, tasty, and served with a view. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the nightlife it’s practically no nightlife, and parking can be a bit tricky if you’re renting a car. Still, nothing that ruined the trip — just something to be aware of. Overall, Holland House is a stylish, well-run hotel in an unbeatable location. I’d definitely stay here again!
