Great staff and location will stay again in the future.

There are several things to love about this property. It is in an excellent location if you plan to spend time in both Petosky and Harbor Springs as it is in between these destinations. Also, if you are active, it is extremely easy to catch the trail and run into downtown Petosky. Other great features include friendly staff and very clean rooms. The property itself is old with no central AC (there are window AC units in the rooms) so the hallways were loud with fans in the ceiling to keep the building cool. Thus, the hotel itself will be the least memorable part of your trip to this beautiful part of Michigan, but that's not really a bad thing, especially as this property is affordable compared to others in the area and is quite comfortable. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Great breakfast the choices for in room coffee or tea were not tasty

Quiet & clean, check in staff pleasant, after that we only encountered rude & unsmiling employees. At check out, multiple staff blocking the front desk so I had to say excuse me to squeeze in to return keys, no acknowledgment of my greeting, no “thank you for staying” or “goodbye”. Meanwhile breakfast area had dirty tables & guests unhappy no staff in there to refill anything while employees still talking at front desk. Will not return.

Its a nice hotel. We enjoyed staying here! It was nice to be able to bring my dog with me.

Pros: Close to Boyne Highlands- less than 10 minutes; Comfortable beds; Inexpensive cost. Cons: Obvious that toliet and shower are not thoroughly cleaned. Spent one night for a ski trip to Boyne Highlands. Easy drive to skiing and beds were of good quality. However, decided not to shower due to the lack of deep cleaning.

Although the hotel is old and off the beaten path the room was modern, nice and clean. My low review was based on being frustrated right off the bat. I was traveling with my 80 year old mother and my 9 lb dog. When i booked the room, I had no idea there would be so many rules for traveling with a pet as this was my first time. So when you book you might want to ask about the pet rules. So that kinda put a damper on the trip. Also, the front entrance has old doors with a huge cement lip. It made it difficult for me to role in the cart, carrying my dog and having the cart loaded up with all my moms stuff and mine. The staff just stood there and watched me struggle. Breakfast was decent but the dining room is very very small. After I found out I couldnt leave my dog unattended, I was just going to stay in the room, watch some TV, and get some work done on my computer. The cable and internet went out. I guess thats beyond their control.

Good hotel if you are planning a quick ski trip into the Harbor Springs Ski areas, very close, maybe 7 miles away. Breakfast is included, and it was good quality, actually better than several other chains I have stayed at lately. Typical waffle machine, Biscuits and Gravy, Scrambled eggs and sausage/bacon. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were a little dated, but not so much that it distracted. I would stay again if I were doing a quick ski trip.

The hotel was clean and comfy. However, we had an issue at check in and the front desk staff was not very pleasant to work with. I would suggest customer service training in the near future.

This was a great place to stay. Had a great nights sleep on very comfortable beds. Very nice breakfast in the morning before we left. Would absolutely stay here again!

Weekend trip with my wife to see the fall color. This hotel was a pleasant suprise. We were rewarded with updated rooms and comfortable beds. This hotel was clean and offered a competative free breakfast offering in the morning. I would book this hotel again in the future.

Very clean nice place to stay. No elevator we were on the 2nd floor had to carry all our suitcases and clothes up. No Wi Fi or internet hookup. Staff was good helpful. Location was OK for us. We were in town for a wedding we stayed two nights. Quiet location. Price was affordable.

Good value for the price. The breakfast included in room price very good. Room could use a little attention. (Dirt under bed, loud air conditioner, peeling walls in bathroom.) did have comfortable bed.

Room was very comfortable, and the hotel location being set well back of the road and protected by trees was nice and peaceful.

Our room was clean but it's in need of some chaulking around the sink and tub. The staff was great ! The breakfast they provide is top notch!

Works well as typical Confort Inn, but if you're on the 2nd floor there isn't an elevator.

Nice clean resort, friendly staff and good value for the money. If a work out is important look elsewhere. An elipitical machine, 1 jogging tack and a bowflex is a waste of space.Good wireless connection.Well kept property.[...]

Clean, comfortable, quiet, good continental breakfast with lots of choices and regularly re-stocked. Pet friendly, near the highway but set up on a bluff so the impression is that it's tucked away from the traffic. Our room even had a view of Little Traverse Bay through the trees.
