We had a early flight out of Perth the next morning, so needed to be reasonably close to the airport. The hotel gave use the type of accommodation that we wanted with very close proximity to the domestic terminal. We had a 1 bed apartment (king sized bed) which had a full kitchen. It was very comfortable once inside. Our apartment was on the opposite side of the the building to the Great Eastern Hwy, which is a big, busy road. That was a relief as whilst you could still hear some road/traffic noise, it would have been a lot worse on the road side. The only downside to this stay was having to carry all the luggage up the 2 floors to our apartment.
We had a suite I think. There was one door that then had two rooms. Both room’s had doors that you couldn’t leave unlocked. This is very difficult when you have kids and only one key for that door. There are some convenient power points for charging things (finding this is rare in WA). It would be a great set up for two couples traveling together though. The proximity to the airport was great. There are places to eat near by. I was surprised the lobby closed at 9 pm even for check ins when that close to the airport. We were in a handicapped room(s) and, while convenient for those that need them, it’s the opposite for this that don’t. The entire bathroom floor gets drenched during a shower making it slippery and unsafe. Would star here again, but would ask for non-handicap room.
The room was good size with kitchen area. Value is great with a simple complimentary continental breakfast. Staff are fantastic and helpful. Very close to airport. Close to Perth city, casino and nightlife. Free parking available is a bonus. Highly recommended for the price.
Great location to airport. Easy Late check in and out. Apartment was clean and spacious. Ample tea, coffee and milk available for a quick cuppa. Unfortunately our bed had seen better days as it was a little saggy. Free off street parking. Would stay again.
Stayed twice in the last week, well appointed self contained rooms that are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are very accommodating especially for late arrivals, they communicate very effectively by text with clear instructions. Very close to both airport terminals, taxi fare was $15-$17. Will definitely stay again.
Everything you need to stay for a few days or more. Great facilities for cooking your own meal. Unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be any supermarkets within walking distance, so you would need to have a car to get the food to be able to cook it. There is no restaurant on site, so if you don’t have food to cook you will need visit the local restaurants or order in.
Stayed 1 night and left early morning the next day to the airport. Room and bathroom was clean. Our room was facing the highway and it was a little noisy sleeping next to the balcony door. Hotel is located very close to the airport so we could sleep in a bit more before leaving to catch our flight. Hotel check in is not 24 hours, so if you arrive really late, you might have a problem.
We (family of 4) stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment at the Best Western. We were staying overnight before heading down to Margaret River. It is conveniently located close to Perth airport and that was a plus. The other convenience is that it offers breakfast which means we don’t need to step out of the hotel for food in the morning. There’s a 24-hour McDonald’s located right next doors which took care of our dinner. The hotel itself is quite basic but has all the necessary conveniences. The rooms are well appointed. Bathrooms are clean and have soap and shampoo dispensers. Also comes with gas stove, cooking utensils, washer & dryer. On the downside, the living room furniture was rather worn and our bedroom didn’t have an air conditioner/heater unit.
Stayed one night in unit GO8a - faces onto the Great Eastern Highway, but double glazing makes the room sound proof. The advantage of this place is that it’s just 4 km taxi ride (A$16) from Terminal 3 at Perth Airport which is a bonus after a 15 hours of travel. The apartment is well equiped with pots, dishes but unfortunately Coles, Woolworths or a bottle store are not within walking distance. They do sell ready made meals at reception. The other great thing about this place is how clean it is. The place offers a complimentary ‘continental breakfast which is an added bonus. All in all we thought very good value for money and we’d certainly stay here again.
The room was clean and bright and bed was comfortable although pillows were quite firm and high. The reason I wouldn’t recommend for an airport stopover is that there is no lift for access to middle or top floor apartments which means negotiating flights of stairs with your luggage. Also, doors to apartments are quite noisy and as people are coming and going at all hours, it means that you are constantly woken by doors banging. The apartments would probably be fine if you were on the ground floor and/or if it wasn’t busy.
