My wife and I stayed here in a Club Suite for 2 nights. The staff were great and the Club Lounge was worth the extra cost. The main problem we had was the ensuite cleanliness. There was a reasonable amount of dust on the shelves, mirror etc. There was mould in the grout lines and on the rough patches on the tiles in the shower(looks black in the photos but was actually green). Black grime on the shower floor(the line in photo is what I cleaned just to see how bad it was). I think what upset us the most is that when I emailed them after we got home we didn't even get an apology. Just a reply that they would take it up with the cleaners. Also, if you do ever stay, make sure you aren't anywhere near the elevators because if you're a light sleeper like me, you won't sleep much. The loud rumbling every time they moved kept me awake both nights.

We stayed at the Duxton Hotel for a short stay for a wedding held nearby. From checking in to checking out was a great experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location near town within easy walking distance. Room was comfortable and had everything you need. The shower however had low pressure otherwise all good.

After arriving i got my key card went to hotel 19th floor with bags and card did not work, came down and apparently fixed card, went upstairs again card did not work, called front desk and they came to assist, and card did not work. Moved across to another room , and unfortunately had a neighbor that had kids crying and mother screaming...and i stated i came here to relax and romantic night im not having that...then i was moved again upstairs..which was much better but for a first time at duxtons it was abit disappointing moving , was not much staff could do but looking at over an 40 minutes just to get into a room.

The Duxton staff and facilities are second to none. From check in to check out the Duxton Hotel and its magnificent staff catered for our every need. Its walking distance location to all of Perth's hotspots is exceptional, from the restaurants and bars at the gorgeous Elizabeth Quay and Perth City to the bustling city shopping precinct. My advice, pay the little extra for a Club level room and experience the sensation river views and fantastic friendly and professional service in the Executive Club lounge. This is the perfect staycation destination for locals and travelers alike to experience some of the best that Perth has to offer.

A lovely 3 night stay in one of the club rooms and we came away very happy. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the location spot on for all our activities. Close to the river and ferry access to South Perth. Close to plenty of eating out options and tiny mysterious tucked away bars to wet the whistle. The buffet breakfast and evening drinks/canapes in the executive lounge we an added bonus - especially with the great view of the river.

We spent a night at the Duxton and wished we had spent more time there instead of the other hotel we stayed in. We could not fault the room, facilities or service. Dinner at the restaurant was beautiful , presented well and tasty. Well positioned close to everything this will be my first choice when I’m in Perth next time.

We enjoyed staying at Duxton Hotel - very reasonable price (groupon) and the place was really lovely. Good location to walk to shops and a short drive to Kings Park. Friendly staff. There was also a gym and pool but we didn't use these.

Great location for access to Perth City and east perth. I stayed here when I had a conference at the Westin. What I liked about the Duxton rooms are they are carpeted, spacious including the bathroom and noise from the neighbouring rooms and hallway wasn’t noticed. The mini bar was vacant. The duxton has room service and a comfortable bar down stairs. Front of house are organised with getting you transport. The reception, lobby is extremely spacious. Solo female, I’d stay here again.

Stayed for one night in a deluxe king room. Booked through booking.com and paid $157.00. Good size room, comfy bed with a range of pillows available to suit, glimpse of the river . Check in/out was smooth trouble free and the best I have experienced.Staff friendly, helpful and prompt, room service however cappuccino was delivered cold , meals tasty we had fish n chips and salad and tofu green curry and rice, dessert of lemon tart was delicious and a late night meal of sirloin was ok but nothing to rave about and I ordered pepperoni only pizza that came after husband had finished his steak due to a mix up with the chef and the pepperoni only pizza had an overload of cheese capsicum and tomato so was disappointed. Overall a good hotel would stay again but would avoid the room service next time .

As a frequent traveler for work I noticed the update to the fish pond in the lobby. The paint job is amazing. Well done!!!! Love this hotel and the updated rooms look fantastic. Staff are wonderful. But the fish pond is what caught my eye so well done
