A great Hotel made possible by dedicated staff who go to great lengths to look after their guests. The food was great in the restaurant with one of the best grilled salmon dishes I've ever had. Breakfast's were reasonably priced and comprised a great selection of food groups, just excellent.
Stayed at the Parmelia Hilton overnight on business. Hotel and room layout is become a little dated, but my room fit out had been updated, was comfortable and as well equipped. Bedding and quality of sleep is excellent. Staff and service was outstanding - very friendly and helpful, including getting me into a taxi at 3:45am, and checking in to make sure all was OK with the stay. A bonus is the Adelphi Grill on the ground floor - great bar and steak restaurant. Recommended for a stay when on business.
Thanks to Jeremy and his team for making us feel so welcome, a great room, breakfast and gym and pool. Close to the city and restaurants. Always looked after and so welcomed, thanks to the front of house for getting us to the airport nice and early!
Disappointing weekend stay. Paid a lot more to stay here than other hotels and expected more because of it, especially as it was a Hilton. Understaffed...queue to check in. Long queues to get into breakfast. Food underwhelming..lukewarm and not tasty. Room was beautifully clean and comfortable. Would not stay again when other hotels in Perth have a much better offering at a cheaper price.
Staying here was ideal. Close enough to the hotel, kings park, elizabeth quay and the restaurants. It might be better if there was no construction around . The windows are not sound proof so there was alot of noise and I couldn't sleep late
Thank you to all staff at the Parmelia, everything was wonderful from the staff at the front desk doing my early check in to my check out. The room was immaculate, the staff were amazing, very pleasant all round. a special thank you to the staff at breakfast who were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was amazing also
We had a nice stay at this hotel. Staff were exemplary in their service and generally friendliness and helpfulness. The interior is dated and tired however which is why it scores 4 out of 5. Definitely a lot of 80s vibe still going on.
I was at the Parmelia Hilton this summer, and I really enjoyed my stay. My friend and I had so many wonderful interactions with the front desk- in particular, with CAROL! We love you Carol! They were all incredibly kind and thoughtful in their exchanges with us. The locations was brilliant, close to King's Park, Elizabeth Quay, the boat house, and the general downtown area of Williams Street. Also close to grocery stores and cafes. Honestly we felt like we could basically walk anywhere in the city from the hotel! We never took public transit. The rooms were totally fine, there were two of us in the room on this particular stay. The bathroom was actually quite nice! The staff was very generous with toiletries for us. All in all I would definitely recommend it if you are staying in Perth!
The hotel room was lovely and the staff friendly and accommodating. Concierge were relaxed and helpful. Night manager was terrific. Buffet breakfast was spot on. Some improvements suggested: a greater knowledge of street parking limitations and hours amongst front service staff would be helpful for interstate visitors as the the signs are quite confusing. The wifi wasn’t working in the time I stayed and there appears to be a cost involved. The cost of obtaining movies on tv seemed a bit dated too. I thought generally hotels would provide cable and wifi as part of the accommodation package so it was a surprise to me. Other than these management suggestions, I’d be happy to stay here again. I appreciated the text messages to ask how things were going during my stay and I gave 10/10. This really helped when I was pushed for time due to business and personal commitments.
My first impressions was that the building and interior looked quite old and dated. This is especially true with the reception design and the tinted sliding front doors that don’t even close completely. Doesn’t really give off a 5-star look. The tired interior continued in the hallways and in my room. Small low resolution TV and other similar things give away its age. But I think the bathroom has been partially done up more recently. The WiFi was also a daily inconvenience as it always took me back to the Hilton login portal every day to put in the internet passcode. This happened on all my devices. Service however was pretty good. Staff members seemed happy to help. In my room there was a “pillow menu” which I thought was a nice touch. The checkin was quite slow due to there being a long line (a second checkin counter was eventually opened after some waiting). But overall I had a pretty good stay. The bed was very comfortable and A/C was perfect. Rooms are pretty sound proof too. I could always get a good nights’ sleep. The room was also very clean and housekeeping service was excellent.
