The first time my husband and l stayed at this hotel we were really impressed with the whole experience. However, even though we booked the exact same type of room it was no where near the quality. This time we stayed in 414. This time the mattress was old - making clunky spring noises when you moved and the shower had mouldy grout. I am thinking the hotel maybe in the process of being renovated?? Perhaps? On a plus side, the linen used was crisp and clean, as was the room, although the two seater couch had many stains and was certainly passed it's used by date. For $150 we had a good sized Superior King Room, free parking and continental breakfast. Over all, good value for inner city staying but just make sure you ask for a renovated room 😁
Room very small, basic and dated. Bathroom again dated no where to put anything for clothes or toiletries. To get a picture on tv required a manual how to. How cheap tvs are its pretty sad. Didnt get free parking as was full and following night was told it was full when it wasnt. Only positive was bed wasnt a brick. Breakfast basic continental. Friends stayed next door at mantra, much nicer, better breakfast but charges for parking. Its cheap so guess you get what you pay for. I just wouldn't want to pay full rate for very basic hotel
Stayed two nights on girls weekend. Staff all lovely and very helpful. Rooms very quiet. Mold on the roof in bathroom. Curtains hard to shut on one side. Bit concerning being on 4th floor that they had nothing stopping anyone climbing out the window. If you had kids and had it open they really need fly screens or something there to stop it. Beds are comfy. Tv couldn't watch movies as volume didn't work on that channel. Worked on all others. There is two sections of parking which are free but first on best dressed. Also have a restaurant below but was never open when we were around. Overall would stay again
Nothing wrong with the name of this hotel. Super friendly reception staff, big comfortable rooms and a great location. Just 40m from a bus stop on the free Perth bus service around Perth centre, loads of value eateries on Hay street. Nothing pretentious just great value.
We had a booking through Hotels.com. Confirmed late arrival with hotel. Arrived to check in at 1am after a 21 hour flight to be told our room for the next 8 nights had been cancelled. This is the second time this has happened with this hotel. Not impressed at all. If the hotel has issues with other booking sites then why use them?? As I had problems before I thought it safer to confirm Direct with hotel, which didn’t seem to matter as they still cancelled. Really not acceptable and not even an apology. We were getting married the following week and this wasn’t a good start. We have stayed here 3 times now, twice having our accommodation cancelled and arriving to nothing but hassle. We will definitely not be booking here again. I would say to book Direct with the hotel instead of using other booking sites, however, as we confirmed Direct with them, that doesn’t seem to have mattered either. Surely an email to the customer to say your going to cancel, as you expect people to notify you of a cancellation before 4pm on day or arrival. Not impressed!!
This hotel is really good for its value, the room is spacious enough for 3 adults and it looks modern. The bed linen was great, toiletries were provided and they even have free accommodation on site. 24hr desk so we were able to check in at 11pm. Great staff, would come back again the next time I need to stay in Perth.
Basic amenities, located at the east side of Perth. Still rather accessible to the city via the red bus or take a 15 mins walk..There is also a 24 hour supermarket nearby and the Langley park is also within walking distance. One major concern we had was the WiFi! We couldn’t really connect in our room for the week we stayed there which was frustrating. The staff at the counter said she will come to our room to help but did not show up and every time I went to the front counter she only give me another new user id n password to try which also didn’t work.
Had booked an apartment for 5 people and on arrival was given three seperate motel style rooms with two single beds in each. In one room the fridge was so loud you had to turn it off to sleep. The fridge in room 2 wasn’t working and food went off . When adjusted temp to cool it even though on medium then when it was adjusted it froze. So maintenance arrive to fix while we were out and said they would fix. When we arrived back all food was off . As everything thawed out. Left a couple of clothing items behind by accident , and when we went back they said nothing was left in the room. The rooms are musty and need updating no views you feel like you are in a prison room.
The Comfort Hotel on Hay was very well paced, 2 buss stops from the Wacka, 3 stops from the Mint. It was on the Red free bus route which run every 10 - 15 minutes. The hotel we could not fault, the staff were very friendly & helpful, the rooms were clean & comfortable. They did not have a Microwave to heat things, the frig was a little small, but we survived,
Stayed for 1 night whilst working in the city. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very accommodating. It was advertised as free parking/no booking required, but when I arrived there were no spaces available and was told to park on the street. Other than that a nice stay.
