Great value rooms. Very large and spacious. Fridge and microwave facilities were useful, however, no plates or cutlery are provided in rooms. Staff were very friendly. I had to ring the hotel as my flight was late but staff were more than accommodating .
Location great, not a 4 or better star place but is always clean and staff friendly, we use it monthly. Free parking, free internet is very functional, restaurant is very good. Other food locations nearby and public transport easy.
If you're looking for a budget hotel in the city that is clean & functional, with free parking, then you will like Comfort Hotel Perth. It's close to the car rental places & the free buses that go around the city. There's a supermarket one street down & a BWS - beer, wine & spirit shop on the opposite corner. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants on the next block too. Service is good - the main light in our room was flickering & it was fixed in a jiffy. Walls are a bit thin, as you can hear people talking, but nevertheless, a nice, clean budget hotel to put your head down.
Wife and I flew in on August 15th, took bus 380 from terminal 1 which dropped us 1 block from hotel. Room was clean and comfortable with free wifi, coffee maker and fridge. Front desk staff were very nice and proffessional and very knowledgeable of city of Perth attractions and transport. Perth free bus, "red cat bus" is half a block away to get around town on. We left town for road trip and stayed here again on 24th before flying out on 25th, "again using bus 380 to airport". Would definitely stay here again.Good location also to Optus Stadium. 30 minute walk or take red cat bus to underground and then take train to stadium .
This hotel is ideally located and offers best value for your money if you are not looking for super luxury. They have everything you need and provide awesome service. It is located right in CBD and everything is either walk away distance or by the bus. We had a car so we didn't take the bus, but we could see many guests using bus services and they were happy. It is reasonably near to the airport (about $20 uber) and they do have parking. Our flight arrived midnight and car rental companies close their operation from 12 to 6 am. So we took an Uber to reach hotel and then rented a car from Bayswater car rental next day in the morning, which is just 5 min walk from the hotel. Perth mint is just nearby on the same street. We took the family room and it was cosy and spacious. It had all the basic amenities and comfortable beds. Bathroom was nice and clean and equipped with hair dryer and toiletries. The room has a kettle to make tea/coffee. Wi-fi works great. We had an issue for one night where our room's electric fuse burnt and there was no power in the outlet so we could not charge our mobile phones. They gave us an additional room just to charge our equipment. On top of that they offered us a complementary breakfast the next morning. Their service is awesome and the staff members are courteous. They do have in-house parking but is very limited so make sure you get in early to get a spot, alternately you can park on the roadside for free until 8 am. If you have rented the car from Bayswater then you can also park in their open garage overnight. Officially they do not allow you but there is nobody to check after 6 pm.
I stayed here the night before an organised ride around Australia as it was convenient-ish and within my budget, thw rooms are neat & clean & the staff friendly & helpful. The only let down was the shower, which, no matter what combination I tried (including no cold water at all) I could not get it hot, petty perhaps, but a lukewarm shower on a cold & wet Perth morning was not what I wanted.
We arrived back at the hotel after having dined elsewhere to find that a lift technician had been called and BOTH lifts were inoperable. Why? We had elderly people in our group and one who had recently undergone back surgery. What options were we offered? Climb the flights of fire stairs or???? Nothing. The only way to get to our rooms was to climb the stairs with several of our party on the 6th floor. This coming after the shock of the $150 preauthorisation deposit to be paid by every one of our group with a room booking. Are we happy ????.....No! What does management feel they should do in this situation when our party included international guests who were not understanding of the preauthorisation requirements and then having to climb stairs to the 6th floor to reach their rooms. The level of comfort perhaps is not supported by the level of service provided to the guests. Perhaps there are accommodation options available elsewhere.
Checked in for an overnight stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Alma on the front desk was extremely helpful and full of life, even at a late hour. Restaurant on site and complimentary tea and coffee in the room along with a fridge, flat screen TV and microwave. Will definitely book in here again.
Arrived after midnight. James was on desk very helpful and professional. Slight mix up with booking but we got there. Room twin single. Very clean quite and cosy. Had a welcoming hot shower as I travelled from Cairns QLD and Had a long day. Bed though single comfy and clean extra pillows. Aircon heated room quickly. I went down for breakfast at 0700. Food delish. Can't fault the location the friendliness of the front desk staff James and Rose. And Bluerock next door. Food was excellent. The buffet continental looked fresh and delish. Though I opted for a hot cooked meal as it was a cold winters blast outside. Both venues deserve 10 out of 10. Warm clean friendly. And a great rate for the budget concieous traveller. Well appointed rooms.
This was my second 3 night sojourn at the Comfort Hotel and the only thing stopping an excellent rating was the promised upgrade was not forthcoming because the place was full ! Easy to see why though ! Great location, great price @ $81/night , clean & big rooms, quiet & a reasonably priced bar & restaurant downstairs. Nice little touches like free newspaper every day and very friendly front office staff ! The only negative apart from the upgrade was the $150 deposit against the stay ? Felt very cheap and nasty ? I'm not a rock star or room trasher !! Still a real good pick in Perth.
