Comfort Hotel Perth City

I booked at the last minute and got a pretty good price. The room is a bit tired, but all I really wanted was a bed for a few nights and this was perfect. The staff at the counter were so helpful, plus there is a free Perth City bus stop really close. This hotel is actually with in easy walking distance to the Perth Mint. I loved the black out curtains and that there were free newspapers in the lobby. A restaurant is attached to the hotel, but I didn't have a chance to go in.

Decent location within walking distance of the Waca, Perth Mint and not a million miles staggering distance from Northbridge. Nice sized, comfortable and fairly well equipped room. Nice and helpful staff. Enjoyable stay.

Stayed here one night via a very reasonable internet deal. Reception was efficient if not overly friendly. Parking is free on a 'first come, first served' basis and if you have a car I suggest you come early.. I arrived at 3.00 pm and snared the last spot under the building. I believe, though, the hotel has access to a second carpark nearby. I have no complaints about my room, including the bathroom. All fine. No view, but not to worry. The cafe was also good for breakfast. Only complaint really was about the TV remote in my room that looked like it had come off the Ark - little stickers on it telling you which buttons to push, tape holding in the batteries, and some functions (+ / -) and numbers so worn by usage that the lettering was no longer visible. Also had no ABC reception when I first turned on TV, which girl on front desk said was 'often a problem'. Anyway, she was able to re-tune and that concern was quickly solved. All in all, would stay again.

This was a okey budget hotel. Breakfast was super. But WIFI was "limited" to 500MB/day. And even if just browsing on my phone for a short time. I run out of MB. Parking behind hotel was nice and just 15 min walking to city center

The hotel room was in fair condition and was a good size for 3 adults. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were of a clean standard, although some fixtures could use with updating/replacing in my opinion. The included breakfast was a fairly decent selection. It's a great affordable hotel for people on a budget.

Not 4* but very good 3* good value, spotlessly clean accommodation in east of city but with access to free CAT buses (2 services nearby) and within Free Travel Zone for free public buses when the CAT stops (quite late these days). Airport bus stop 120 seconds away (I timed it). My second time here and the place has improved. Still quite plain rooms but light and very pleasant for all that and with everything you need for a holiday in perth. Excellent shower, tea and coffee and fridge in rooms, free newspapers and even free Factor 50 in reception (a nice touch). Wide-ranging breakfast buffet in contemporary restaurant. Good free wi-fi even if getting a daily ticket was a faff. TV a bit odd (channel list was all over the shop with some in audio only - and I don't mean radio stations) and no Foxtel Sports (you can't have it all!) although there are 2 free movie channels. Washer and dryer (about $7 in all) on 5th floor, Friendly, helpful staff too.

This is a comfortable 3 star hotel with good foyer, nice cafe for breakfast or dinner, free buses loop the city from across the road, good range of cafes as you take an easy walk into the two main malls. Staff friendly and service is quick at breakfast. It's a 17 dollar cab ride to east perth rail and bus terminal if you are going rural. Not a great view from our room but everything worked cleaned before we arrived back

Hotel check-in and check-out time is expedient. Check-in within 5 mins and Check-out in 3 sec. Parking spaces at the compound is limited. Hotel room looks ok but coil of the water heater (even replacement) is rusty.

Our family of three stayed at this hotel for three nights. I have mixed feelings about Comfort Hotel, so I will mention the pros & cons. Pros: good location with stop for free city bus just up the street. There is also a bus stop around the corner for the bus to Fremantle. Lots of services nearby (restaurants, shops). Perth Mint is only two blocks away & is worth visiting. Beds & pillows seemed comfortable. Cons: room was very small. We noticed that our room wasn't very soundproof. No counter space in bathroom; just two loose, sloping glass shelves, which we were afraid to put any toiletries on in case the shelves fell. Whenever we turned on the TV, it would take a few minutes for video to appear. One night, our husband was awoken at 2:00 am by a yelling & swearing group of people outside the hotel. This went on intermittently until about 7:00 am. Not sure if hotel staff reported it or not? We were wondering why it went on for so long. So, if all you are concerned about is a good location, then this hotel passes the test. Just don't expect a lot of frills.

Room is clean and you won't feel uneasy to walk on carpet with bare feet Hotel offers free wifi and parking on site, which is now a must for me in shortlisting hotels. There are only about 25 parking spaces though, but there is street parking on side street behind hotel and no meter charge after 6pm. Wifi reception is good in room and common areas and limited to 3 connections, which is good enough for two iPhones and I iPad. There is an elevator to bring guests with mobility problems up from lobby level to hotel restaurant . We only had breakfast there , n food variety was ok. There is a Korean restaurant on same street a block away in direction of CBD, and their BBQ and hot pot rice is yummy
