Relaxing family get together with so much to do

The property is exactly as advertised. Super clean, well stocked kitchen, lots of space both indoors and out. Lake front is sandy and swimming was great. Fishing even yielded results! This may become a yearly hangout it was so perfect. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Oh and I didn’t even mention the games room. There was so much to do we didn’t even use it but it was the bomb!

Beautiful and Welcoming

We felt right at home from the moment we arrived, and Lucy was always very quick to reply and helpful. The cottage was clean with lots of space inside and out and had everything we needed to make our vacation relaxing and enjoyable. The lake was very quiet during our stay (last week of June), and you can’t hear any road traffic at all. The bunkie worked out well, but it has no power so keep that in mind as an extension cord and a light might be wanted. The 2 fridges were perfect for our group of 7 adults and the kitchen had everything we needed for making our meals. We also took our 11 month old daughter and the only thing I’d mention is that the baby gate at the top of the stairs isn’t installed low enough to stop a baby from crawling under it. There isn’t a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs where the bedrooms are, but she didn’t crawl down there so it was ok for us. There is also a very friendly dog that the neighbours have who comes onto the property a lot, so you’ll want to be mindful of that if your dog isn’t friendly with others. He will also eat through any garbage bags you have sitting in the garage to get to the leftovers. So keep an eye if you have the garage door open during the day. Overall, it was a perfect spot for our family and we definitely will book again if we are able to accommodate the 8 person limit. Highly recommend this cottage!!

Great Cottage!

I spent a girls weekend here and it was absolutely lovely! The garage was fully stocked with games, a full size fridge and tons of seating for when it rained in the evening. The firewood was fully stocked for us to have a firepit and the kitchen had ample storage for us all to cook. We enjoyed the kayaks and sitting on the dock. Thanks for having us! Will definitely be wanting to visit again.

Easter weekend

My family and I had a great experience at Coby's Cove place. The house is spacious and full of entertainment. We will definitely be returning. Perfect for a nice quiet runaway from the city. Thank you for the stay :)

Beautiful, spacious cottage with gorgeous view

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, clean and spacious cottage on Bay Lake for 3 nights in October. We had plenty of room inside, enjoyed a campfire outside and the gorgeous fall view from the dock. Everything was very clean, cozy and nicely decorated. The living room had lots of couches and chairs for reading and hanging out surrounded by windows and trees. We enjoyed playing foosball in the garage and using the Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. It was too cold and rainy to play in the yard or water, but there’s lots of space for kids to play! Please note guests typically need to bring their own bath towels and bed linens. Tap water isn’t potable but the water cooler is full and ready with cold water to drink. Communication with host was excellent. Our two children (ages 4 and 6) had a fantastic time! Thank you. My kids say it deserves 7 stars :)

Great time

We had a wonderful time at Lucy and Will’s cottage. The colours were beautiful and it was so relaxing to sit on the dock and read. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Lucy was great to get back to us quickly when we had any questions. It was close to Arrowhead, Algonquin, Huntsville and many other scenic areas in the area. The road to the cottage was beautiful with the fall colours

A great visit!

We had a lovely time at this cottage! There is enough beach for our kids to play in the sand and being able to walk out into the water was a huge plus. They loved the games room too. We loved kayaking on such a quiet lake filled with local wildlife. The whole place was quiet and just right for our family. It's about 25 minutes to Huntsville should you need anything or want to explore though we just stayed around the cottage once we had our groceries. The property was very well maintained with everything in good working condition. The owners answered the questions we had within minutes. There are a lot of neighbors very nearby (with dogs who will come visit you/your dog) but they were all friendly. Expect to pick up their dog's poop. You will want to go to Huntsville for groceries/gas if you are needing it but having the natural spring a 5 minute drive away for water was a delight. You'll also likely want some (a lot of) bug repellant too but that's to be expected for the area. The previous tenants also tidied without really cleaning so we had some cleaning to do on arrival. All in all, a wonderful family trip we hope to do again soon!

Great Family Getaway

The property is clean, well maintained and comes with everything you could need. The kitchen is well equipped. 25 min to Huntsville and 45 min to Algonquin. Scenic lake with a great view. Saw lots of interesting wildlife....fox, woodpeckers etc. My family enjoyed their time.

Amazing location and comfy

The cottage location is amazing, the bay lake is beautiful and the fall colours on the cottage surroundings is stunning. The bedrooms and bathrooms are really good, all the provided blankets and duvets were clean and comfortable. the kitchen has everything you need, and the cottage is very comfortable overall. The Canoes and kaiaks available are very good. We definitely stay there again in the near future. By the way the fall colours pic shown on the cottage Ad is real!!! We took the same pic from the same spot and it is exactly the same amazing view :) Lucy and Will are very nice hosts and replied back to our messages very fast. The cottage and very clean and well maintained.

Everything you need for a perfect cottage stay

The cottage has tons of amenities that made for a very comfortable stay at a beautiful property with all the modern conveniences. Perfect for families with dogs like ours - our pup has as much fun as we did.

Great Fall Getaway

The property was just lovely. Everything that was on the listing was as it was when we arrived. The kids enjoyed the games room and the space on the property to run around outside. They played soccer, football, badminton, tag and hide n seek. The weather was sunny with a little bit of cloud which was great! Star gazing at night was incredible...never saw so many stars in the night sky! We will definitely be requesting another stay ASAP :)
