Great Place

The unit is cozy, clean, and private, all while backing onto the river. No complaints whatsoever and would definitely stay again.

The cottage is right beside the river and you can have best view of Fall leaf from the private deck. It is absolutely beautiful. Also the property is in clean and good condition and the owner gave the super clear instructions to check in. My whole family loves it.

Weekend on the Magnetawan

Enjoyed our stay. Cottage was cute. Unfortunately the stairs going down to the river were treacherous, railing at the bottom would have helped immensely.

I enjoyed my time

It was lovely and quiet. We had everything we needed. I was concerned about the steps leading to the dock. They felt unsafe near the bottom. Railings were needed and the steps themselves were too narrow. The wifi was spotty at best. Overall we had a great time. Thank you Evelyn Williams

Just what we were looking for. A home away from home. It had everything one could want, including comfortable seating in the living room, a full kitchen, gas fireplace for heat, which unfortunately was required because the weather did not co-operate. That meant no relaxing on the balcony, but instead we relaxed on the comfortable recliner sofa . Very quiet area. We enjoyed our three day stay very much

Beautiful, clean and cozy home-away-home

Our family have spent a relaxing and fun holiday week in this cozy and clean cottage. It is right besides the river with private stairs and deck. There is a convenient store just 2 mins away. We went to a few parks for walking. Rapid water and falls view in winter are awesome. The host is super nice, always respond to our inquires right away and offer great support. We will definately come back in the future. Highly recommended!

Stellar Getaway

We had an excellent time! The place was clean and well furnished for anything you could need. The porch was awesome, we spent most of our time there in the sun, kinda felt like you were sitting in a treehouse! The views were incredible too. Super close to town too where we found anything we needed. Overall a wonderful experience!

Great little slice of the north

I stayed here with my friend for a relaxing up north getaway. It did not disappoint ! This property is very easy to find (right off the highway) but still secluded and quiet. There’s an LCBO and general store just down the road. The place itself was exactly as advertised - if not better. Open concept 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom lay out. Wifi was strong and we were able to check in with work while there. Bring your own food, cooking oils and paper towels. The host basically took care of the rest. Everything was labeled so it was very easy to navigate. The river is peaceful and quiet, good for a quick dive off the dock. We drove 3 mins out to the nearest beach for a day and it was nice. Spacious and clean bathrooms close by. Like any other cottage or rural property, mind the critters and use bug spray.

Beautiful spot by the river

We had a great time! The place is perfect with everything as described. It’s about a 3 minute drive from corner store and essentials, in a very quiet neighbour hood. Wonderful dock and fire pit! Will for sure visit again!

Good size place for the pricepoint, nice area, would be pretty in the summer. A couple things that stood out however was the beds and towels. The beds are doubles, which is fine, however the one we chose seemed to lean to one side, and the pillows werent very comfortable. I think theres room for at least 1 qween bed but thats more personal preference. The biggest issue was the towels provided. There was 2 of them, neither matched the other. Mine was green with holes in it and fraying on the edges. The other was stripped and larger. They both smelled like dog. Not sure what the situation was. But that was an unexpected and unacceptable thing to have. I get they have pets, but so do we and the towel we brought to wipe our dogs feet after we take him outside smelled better. Just a consideration that can put people off when they dont want to dry off after a shower because the towel smells horrible.
