Great location, near restaurants, aquarium, beautiful white sand beach. It is well located but to have a great room as the pictures you need to get the Oceanview room. Standard rooms need some care. Bring warm clothes in April weather can get chilly!

Absolutely loved our stay. The only thing we’d change is I wish they would have let us know that the big pool with swim up bar was going to be closed during our stay. We couldn’t find it anywhere while booking, and chose that hotel specifically for that reason. Everything else was amazing.

The Island Resort was okay. When there was enough staff to help, they were typically crabby or rude. Maybe they thought we we're spring breakers? It made the whole trip less enjoyable. The rooms were livable (cleanliness wise), but don't expect a sterilized environment. Before you book, call to make sure the Grotto Pool is open. It was drained for repairs upon our arrival and got shut down when asked about it.

The entire staff with exception of house keeping on the second floor was excellent. Our room was never properly cleaned. The floors were sticky, there was food left from the previous occupants in our microwave. The trash was not removed. Beds were sloppily made. The bathroom floor had evidence of the previous occupants which we got gloves and cleaned our selves. The arm on one of the deck chairs was broken and never repaired after I informed the house keeping person taking care of the room. The soap bar was not replaced when the original was used and the soap dish was never cleaned. Everyone else in the hotel was helpful and professional. Thank you

Rooms were small. Shower design is horrible as there is no doors or curtains so the floor towel gets soaked just by showering one time. Staff were friendly. The large pool and swim up bar was drained and empty due to maintenance. If I would have known this I wouldn’t have booked here. Great location as you can walk out the back door and right out to the beach. Beach bar is also closed during the off season. Parking is not great either.

The stay is pretty average wish for what we paid was better. We knew after booking that an amount would be due for fees and such which is understandable, upon arrival we found that MUCH more was required then what was originally told to us per Expedia. Also this resort charges for parking which again was not explained to us before booking. With that this resort hosts events and during our stay an event was taking place, ultimately bc of this there was NO PARKING REMOTELY CLOSE TO OUR ROOM. So the parking I had to pay for was given to the guests of the event and my family had to park on the OPPOSITE side of the resort. Aside from that the rooms a just repainted motel rooms smell of smoke stained towels again not what expected for the premium price. Great area will be back but definitely not staying here.

We had a great time! Nice heated outside pool. We really enjoyed their Margarita pizza! The ocean and beach were only a few steps away!! We will definitely come back!
