Upon returning from my visit with my wife at Pensacola NAS I had my door cracked to let some air in (ac wasn’t working while I was gone) and a man ran into my room from the cops and held me at gun point. He eventually apologized and was scared, but still quite the experience

Roaches in the room and nosiy not happy with room at all.

The lady on check in was very pleasant and efficient, however the room reeked of roach spray which triggered an extreme sinus attack during the night. The room was very run down and in need of refurbishment.

Not a hotel I would ordinarily stay at but we were in a bind returning to SW Florida after evacuating for hurricane Irma. Ended up leaving early.

The Red Roof in Pensacola is not fancy, but for the money it was fine. The room was clean and roomy. And thats all I ask of a room. We were gone most of the day at a reunion. We had to ask for more towels but there was no problem getting them. Overall it was a good stay.

The bedspreads were filthy and had stains from the foot of the bed to the top. It was disgusting. The carpets had not been vacuumed and the deadbolt didn't work properly. We did not stay.

Need bigger rooms. Air conditioneri was frozen on our arrival. They replaced quickly but that one also froze during night with fan only blowing. Did give us ground room for seniors

Wish rooms were bigger. Did accomodate us seniors with a ground floor room.

I purchased this room online approximately 14 days before arriving, when I did arrive, Expedia had not sent the payment voucher to the hotel, and it took 20 minutes extra of phone calls to take care of this matter...other than that, not a problem

There are several hotels in the near vicinity that are a better value. The hotel is old and could be kept up better...

When you are in a pinch, the Red Roof Inn is worth the value...

Really? When you stay at a hotel, are you hoping the staff will fluff your pillows for you before you go to sleep? The Red Roof Inn is not the Hilton. It is a place to rest on your journey to your destination.....This place had excellent staff...the room was clean, smelled good and fit everyone of my needs! Excellent is all I can say!

Staff are nice eveything is perfect clean room and nice tv

There wasn't a central area like you would expect at most hotels. For the rate and short notice it worked out fine. Also, there is a sports bar and waffle house within walking distance. NO dui! Thanks

I have stayed in hotels at this price before and I can definitely say this has to be the most disappointing by far of them all. Things were clean but the overall condition of the room made it feel otherwise. It was not in shambles or anything but very much in need of upgrading. The air conditioner was quite loud (in my opinion) and was not keeping up and the temp was not over 85. Mentioned this to front desk and they said that maintenance would service but the third and last night was not much better, I have stayed at RRs before and was expecting a better stay. No loud neighbors and the showers were great water.

The rooms were outdated. The furniture needed to be updated. We only could catch a couple of channels on the TV. The rooms had a funny dirty smell to it and we switch over to a couple of better ones for 10 dollars extra to get a microwave and refrigerator which we thought was going to come in each room. The hotel clerk was nice and professional. Everything in the hotel seems old.

Absolutely nothing like the pictures. Online are way different from in person. The pictures of the rooms that are in the office on the desk are on the other end of the scale, the good end. The best room they have (superior king) is the same size as a regular room. The bed is the size of a regular king. I know for a fact LA Quinta offers better rooms, nicer stays, and cleaner linen all for a cheaper price. Staff was nice though at least.

Hotel was good Whenever I visit Pensacola I usded to sleep this hotel

We were visiting our daughters in college. A bit of an inconvenience not having a hairdryer, iron/board, or coffee maker. Appreciated how the room was cleaned and attended to daily with extra toiletries supplied, and the no-smoking policy for all the rooms.

stay was ok but a big let down from what you see on web site , like the area but will pass this red roof up and try motel next door.
