This was my second time in Pensacola for medical reasons and I was very impressed by the way I was treated by every employee at Quality Inn, Plantation Road, Pensacola, FL. The manager "Daniel" greeted me at the door and told me if I needed anything at all to let him or any staff member know. I felt like a very special guest! During my 2 night stay every employee...Hannah from the check in, my housekeepers catered to me like I was a celebrity! Thank YOU for being so kind to me! I would & will recommend this hotel to everyone!
This is THE WORST Quality Inn I've EVER stayed at and I'm a Platinum Member with Choice Hotel (which means I travel and stay at A LOT of Quality Inns). The cockroaches were on/in the bed, in the air conditioning unit, in the bathroom and even in the refrigerator. I was even moved to another room, just 2 doors down, at twelve o'clock at night and it still had COCKROACHES! Let me start by saying I chose this room from the reviews... That was a huge mistake. I had driven, for work, about twelve hours that day. I checked into this ROACH HOTEL about 11:30 p.m. and was tired. I was given the room key and as soon as I opened the door four or five roaches ran into the air conditioning unit. One wasn't quick enough and I stepped on him. The three on the bed didn't fair as well either. (I have pictures to prove all this, along with my partner as an eyewitness). I immediately called the front desk and asked for another room. I was given a room just two doors down... that was a mistake. While I was at the front desk changing out my keys, my partner opened the microwave and refrigerator and found about five or six more ROACHES. I have videos to prove this point too. We we got to the second room, the ROACHES (surprise, surprise), were in there too. At this point in time it was after midnight and we didn't have anywhere else to go. The lady at the front desk offered to give me back my money and basically throw us out to find another place. She also stated,"It would probably be difficult to find a room anywhere at this last minute due to the Snowball Rally, a huge car race, this weekend." I decide to stay and brave the DISEASE CARRYING ROACHES and slept in the chair and my partner slept on top of the covers. Granted, I stayed and this was all on me... but I'm giving everyone else a warning and DON'T STAY and this place. Do what their own Manager suggested and go somewhere... even if it's at midnight. There were several other problems that I just don't have the time to get into on here. Just know, DON"T STAY HERE. Again, even the Manager suggested we go somewhere else. This place need lots of work and renovations and is NASTY. The breakfast was just as bad. The biscuits were hard as hockey pucks and the gravy was disgusting. I did find it odd that there was an employee, at breakfast, asking how the nights stay was and if you enjoyed it. There must be a deeper problem if they have to ask everyone about the stay. Yes, I told her about the roaches too... On the other hand, in my opinion, if you're looking for a "Crack" or "Drug Deal"... this place is probably right where you want to be.
We stayed 5 days before our sheets were changed. No towels on 2 days. Had to get more from the desk. No toilet paper, kleenex or shampoo. Room remained unvacuumed until day 5 when another housekeeper was filling in for the regular housekeeper. Toenail clippings on the carpet. Bathroom counter was filthy and remained that way until day 5. Crumbs on the dresser on our arrival. Sticky substance on nightstand. This is a reflection on the individual housekeeper who was paid to do a job and simply didn't do it. The front desk employees were very nice and helpful. When I brought the condition of our room to the attention of the desk clerk she said she would take care of it. The following morning, we happened to be within earshot of the same clerk as she called to the housekeeper and let her know our room needed service. It still wasn't done. Although the breakfast was just average, the attendant was far above average. She was personable and helpful. Also, asked several times if we needed anything extra. FIVE STARS for her. On the positive side..... Our room was roomy and comfortable. Had a fridge and microwave. Nice size closet area with lots of hangers.
Perfect stay for our one overnight in PNS. Clean and quiet. Excellent (included) breakfast. Best biscuit and gravy I've ever had. Doggy friendly. Will come back here next time we are in PNS. Close to the airport. Very convenient.
Stayed here twice in the past week during roadtrip to New Orleans. The hotel is decent for its age and the rooms are clean. Actually my room the second time was better than the first time. Friendly, accommodating staff. Good breakfast bar and eating area. Pet friendly with a small fee. There are restaurants nearby.
The rooms are nice. They are small and there were stains on the mattress and cover and blankets. The mattress is semi comfortable. The shower is small and they said there was wifi but I didn't get any. And when I contacted the front desk, they said it was turned off. The hotel is get what you pay for. But the pool is DISGUSTING!!!!! I swam in the creek and in the ocean. The floor is disgusting and rough. There is things floating in the entire pool. And I walked in knee deep and stood for 5 minutes and my legs turned frosty from collecting what ever was in the water. And nobody has swam in this pool in such a long time that stuff was stuck where the water touched the walls. I would not recommend. It is also is a weird location. Spend the extra $20 for a nicer place. Trust me.
I really had a good stay while on a business trip to Pensacola, FL. After I checked in I was unloaded my luggage & an employee by the name of Walter help with my heavy bags. I enjoyed the pool while relaxing after a long meeting. Breakfast was good & rooms were very clean. Thanks for a great stay.
It is a nice motel. Checked in fast. Clean room. Very helpful staff. Lots of businesses around the motel. Of course after traveling to get back home after Hurricane Irma. This was not a pleasure trip but our escape with our pets. I appreciate all their helpfulness. Breakfast wasn't great but doesn't matter to me. I would stay again.
My stay was due to having to leave for hurricane Irma, my family and I got some much needed rest and the staff was friendly especially our housekeeper Angie she was very kind. However her female supervisor was loud, and just plain rude! She doesn't seem to enjoy her job, and makes it to clear to anyone who speaks to her!
It would have been nice if they would have mentioned that the hotel is under renovation before I booked the room. the bathrooms are half completed, the bathroom ceiling is peeling, the night stands are Scratched up, there were bugs everywhere, the mini fridge is peeling, the carpet is molded. The pool is very dirty, the chairs at the pool were dirty also. The pictures are very misleading...no gym. The only thing that look decent was the check-in desk....STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
