The room was very clean and spacious enough to be comfortable. Dog friendly which is a plus and parking was feet from my room. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but also not the worst I’ve slept in. Has a fridge and microwave. The motel is very close to downtown and all the shops. Hal’s Hamburgers is in walking distance and had really good, cheap food. Other restaurants were in short driving distance. There was some road noise but not enough to bother me. It’s an older motel so the walls are very thin, the first night my upstairs neighbors kept me up all night banging stuff around and talking loudly, on the second night I had different upstairs neighbors that were reasonably “noisy” which didn’t bother me at all so, it’s hit or miss. The little shampoo and conditioner bottles had been used so that was odd and if you have thick hair like me just know the hair dryer is one of those small, weak, wall-mounted ones so you might want to bring one. Breakfast is very basic and entirely carbs: bread (with toaster), mini muffins, bagels (condiments: butter, peanut butter), Nature Made granola bars, bananas, yogurt and coffee/milk/oj (I think there was cereal, too). They do ask that you not take your food and/or drinks to your room to avoid spills but (??) The check-in/check-out service was super easy, quick and very friendly. If I make it back to Pendleton I would stay here again but bring my hair dryer and snacks, microwaveable breakfast.
