We arrived at our door and the door kind of stuck and when we got it open, it was angled at such a weird angle you had to walk into the bathroom first before you could both get in the room. When we got it closed we noticed it was all beat up on the inside and paint peeling. Then we had to have our parkas on for 2 hours while we warmed up the room enough to get our jackets off. Bathroom floor looked clean but was sticky and the tub was old and had cracks along the sealant...needless to say we didn't use it on our overnight stay. The next morning we went for breakfast, which we were looking forward to before our drive as we have stayed at a Red Lion before. We were very disappointed with the very basic breakfast and orange juice that tasted old.

Such potential, such disappointment. Wonderful views and could be an amazing hotel. Old, poor condition, many things "out of order" or broken. Needs a refresh, maintenance, and lots of love. The staff were fine, but our room was freezing cold (January). No heat running until we got there and turned it on. Gym had out of order equipment. Furniture and carpets were old and dirty.

The bed was totally worn out on the far side. It was a hammock. My husband didn't sleep well and had a sore neck all day. We got up to shower, and it didn't have a drop of water! NO SHOWER!! We asked the maid if she could get it to work, she could not. The front desk told us there was nothing they could do, since we went through a 3rd party (zhotels.com. Said they may be able to offer us $15 off if Hotels.com approved. WHAT AN INSULT!!!

The rooms were dirty in places. Behind the bathroom door were chunks of dirt and debris, on one top of a comforter, there was orange chunky substance that had dried on, and tile in the shower was growing mold in the grout. Door jams were broken toward the bottom from wear and tear. The rooms are very good size.

The hotel is dingy and very outdated. The tiles in the shower were cracked, the shower head sprayed water everywhere, and the furniture was worn. However, the room was warm, the bed was comfortable and I felt safe. Also, the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming.

Loved the Red Lion Pendleton! Lovely property with spectacular views of the Blue Mountains. Hot shower, comfy bed, friendly staff, buffet breakfast. Would definitely recommend!
