The Redlion Pendelton exceeded my expectations. Good hotel at a good price. Nice place to recuperate after a long day on the road.

The room was clean but very old and needs a remodel

The hotel is nice and clean and I would like to go back. However, I left some clothes behind in my room. I called them when I realized this. I couldn't reach a live person using the phone menu. I finally pressed 0 and got the desk clerk. He could not have been less helpful if he tried. When I drove through town again, I stopped by. The woman at the desk was okay, but they took a very long time just to come back to say that they did not find my items. I am not convinced that anyone was even looking.

Would not stay there again. Hallways had a smell to them. Room lacked wrapped paper glasses in bathroom, bath mat and had an empty toilet paper roll. It also had a used soap in the tub/shower. Bed was made nicely, but it appeared the bathroom had been forgotten.

Our stay was great & came with a buffet breakfast ! Loved it!

We had low expectations because of the size of the town this hotel blew us away! We have no complaints. Room was beautiful. Service was excellent. Rate was unbeatable. Pool and view were incredible.

It was ok. Staff were not overly helpful but the room was comfortable.

Enjoyed my stay although the alarm clock in the room was so complicated it was useless. In fact, a previous guest had unplugged it out of frustration I'm sure!

it was a short stay it was better than a cheap motel

The staff are great, remember my name, and are quick to take care of anything I ask for. Just recently the empty room adjacent to the room I was in had an AC issue. The noise was loud. I called to see what could be done and they quickly turned it off. Small thing, but the devil is in the details.

Upon arrival, I was left standing at the counter waiting to be checked in. After several minutes of hearing the staff talking and joking around in the back office I said, "Hello, anyone here." Someone then came out and said they would be right with me. After about 5 more minutes of banter and joking in the back office someone finally came and checked me in. The hotel was undoubtedly nice when it was built or last remodeled but it has been a while and it's somewhat run down at this point. Only about 30 cable channels to view.

the rooms are very nice and the bed was very Comfortable , staff very helpful and nice... will stay again....

We got our room at a good rate for the Round-Up. The hotel sits out of town so you’re away from any rowdy crowds. They do offer a shuttle to the Round-Up until midnight each night. Our room key didn’t work when we first tried it and had to go back to the front desk, instead of offering to assist us, they gave us card reader cleaner to do ourselves. We felt this could us improvement as there was no one else checking-in and there were multiple front desk people. We felt the room could be cleaned better; there were cobwebs along the old baseboard heater and up the wall.

Amazing view from our room. Large balcony. But no chairs or table on the balcony. We'd have loved spending more time outside. The window screen was broken and the window didn't open enough to get air in the room. The heat lamp switch in the bathroom was out of order (luckily we didn't need it). If we had known we'd have asked a room on the top floor. We recommend that people request a room on the view side.

I am in Pendleton once or twice a year & this is where I prefer to stay. It's easy to get to, right off of I84. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Good staff for the most part and a great view. The restaurant isn't bad & there is a Share's just across the way. While some of the aminaties could stand to be updated the overall facilities are well maintened

A comfortable property, but showing signs of wear. Rooms were clean and spacious, but not worth the price charged. The front desk staff friendly, but rather slow. Unlike other area properties, the Red Lion charges, a nominal fee, for breakfast further limiting the cost-value ratio of the property. In addition, I requested two queen beds, but was initially told that the room I reserved had only one queen bed. To accommodate my request the front desk charged me an additional $20.00 upgrade fee.

Easy freeway access, and central to downtown. Nice but will have to drive to any attraction. AMAZING VIEW.

We spent a night here 2 years ago so we knew it was a pretty nice hotel for an ok price. We went to eat at the stetsons steakhouse in town and it was amazing with amazing service. It really was very similer to our trip 2 years ago. Not amazing but fun and affordable.

Everything about the hotel was very nice. There was a little confusion over our request for 2 beds, though. I was traveling with my dad, and when we booked the room the description said "queen beds" so we assumed it meant there were 2 beds in the room. When we checked in, they wanted to charge us an additional $10 for a room with 2 beds - claiming that the description online was incorrect. Also, the "continental breakfast" is NOT free. It's $4.95 per person, so by the time we left the tip, that added another $12 to the cost of the room. In other words, the cost of the room wound up being about $30-35 more than the displayed price once we added the bed upgrade, the breakfast, and the tax. The BEST part of this hotel, however, is the gorgeous view from the breakfast area. The long bank of big windows provided a beautiful panorama of the blue mountains! Spectacular!!

The Red Lion sits on a high hill commanding a stunning panorama of the rolling grain country surrounding Pendleton, and the lobby, lounge, dining room, and the upscale rooms share the view. The room was clean, modern, and quiet, and the staff was professional and helpful. The hotel is right off the freeway with access to fuel and food. A big surprise in Pendleton for us was a 7-mile bike/walking paved path along the Pendleton River, about a mile from the hotel.
