Great to stay in a pinch and pet friendly but the room was cold in winter and the heater didn't do much to help. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom did not seem very clean.
It appeared to be so understaffed that they were only using a few rooms. And our room hadn't been dusted at all. The bath tub needed a good clean

The advertising on Orbitz is false. The lobby was very nice. But for the room so out dated. Outlets didn’t work to charge cell phones. Enter light didn’t work. Curtains didn’t close right sunrise was so bright. Almaty here went off by itself at 6am couldn’t go back to sleep. Heater so out dated from the 70s. Furniture very old. Beds uncomfortable. I don’t recommend the Red Lion In Pendolton Oregon to anyone. Cindy
I have stayed at a Red Lion before and have had good luck, staff have always been accommodating and amenities were small but provided. I have a pet and we were given a pet friendly room. It was late when we got in and so we did not notice all of the stains on the floor, stains on the chair and piles of pet hair (not the color of our pet) on the floor and scratched furniture. The room had a smoked in, dirty pet smell. The bathroom had been updated but the shower curtain had mold in several different areas and spots of urine on the floor around the toilet. No amenities, coffee or tea in the room, had to ask for them. The heat was not working very well and we asked for extra blankets but we had to go get them. Our door card was not working so when we went to the front desk to get a new set of cards the front staff was not wearing her mask, we got our new set of cards and was told we needed to wear our masks while in the hall..um..ok, but she wasn't wearing hers. We stayed our night, slept good. At check out i mentioned our concerns and was told they could only refund our pet deposit since we booked through a third party, i have yet to see it. I do have to say the beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water for showers and the lobby was very nice but disppointed in our roomsince COVID has been an ongoing problem for all people and businesses, i expected our room to have been cleaner than it was. I am not totally disappointed in RedLion but this stay was not what i expected.

Pros: Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Beautiful view, quiet, and comfy bed. Cons: The pool and spa were under renovation and some light bulbs were burnt out in the room. Overall a nice place that I'd stay at again.

Property was in a good location for our trip. Staff was friendly and rooms were at a good rate. Our room was not clean in the bathroom but they sent someone down to clean it and that was fine.

It’s disappointing when you check in and learn the hot tub is closed, then to ask about a room with a better view and get told for $15 extra a night you can move rooms. Funny that there’s no problem charging more for a different room, but no chance to charge less when the hotel doesn’t live up to their end of the bargain.
Clean rooms except we found a few small ants.....hot tub being refurbished

Safety and cleanliness is our top priority and I appreciate you letting us know of your concerns and when we have failed. I wish you were able to alert us earlier in your stay as we would have moved you to a different room. I will visit with the staff in regards to properly making sure they are wearing their mask. We did not charge for the pet fee and you should see the authorization in your account depending on your bank policies.
