It was just an average room. Kind of bare and cold looking. The bed was not very comfortable. The lobby was nice, with a fire going and comfortable furnishings.

The front desk gentleman that checked us in was amazing. He made our stay worth it. Love the facilities and the property in general. Look forward to staying again and renting a cabin on the creek.

It was our first stay and we loved the lodge ambiance, the decor and the big roaring fire with big comfy chairs and couches. An upstairs area for reading and playing games was also a nice touch. The hot tub and pool were well-maintained and felt incredible considering the cool Winter weather. Loved the filtered water station and gym with equipment and high quality free weights. We were also blown away at the food at the Zane Grey BBQ Restaurant…everything was made from scratch! The only downside was the mattress in our room — it felt like sleeping on a box spring. There was no pillow too so super rock hard and it made both of us sleep poorly. We would love to return if the beds were better. Really enjoyed the location & everything else!

My wife and I wanted a quick get away from town for Christmas. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful lobby with the fire going and the giant chridtmas tree. The pool and hot tub area looked very inviting even though it was December. Our room was cozy and clean with a wonderful view of the trees outside. Next time we will bring our own coffee to brew, theirs was pretty week, but other than that it was wonderful and quiet.

Smallest bathroom but not something they can change. Very clean and great food. They do have a ton of extra charges that can add up. Don't remember these charges from the other visits.

We took a "studio" room with a small kitchenette which was great since the restaurant is closed Mondays and its a very remote area. We liked the sliding door right at the hot tub , Nice. also we left our reading glasses in the room and the staff mailed them back to us promptly. Very nice
