We checked in and checked out within the hour without unpacking our bags.We arrived to find the hotel under major refurbishment, which went on till late in the evening meaning no chance of a sleep in or afternoon siesta in the room or by the pool. We paid for Superior Queen rooms but they tried to put us in standard rooms, without offering a refund for the difference, as our rooms were being refurbished at the time. The hotel website lies on numerous facts about it's quality, facilities and proximity to local landmarks and shops we wanted to walk too and the staff were very unhelpful. I would not advise any to stay there that was looking for a relaxing holiday. If you are a single man who is going out all night and only want to sleep there then you may find it appealing for the right price. I walked 100 metres down the road and found a cheaper hotel and 10 times better in every way. I would like to know if Wotif will offer me some kind of refund as they are also fraudulently advertising this hotels quality on their website.

we had work being done at the hotel from 8 am till 4 pm every day banging outside the room could not go on the balcony because off stuff falling also the pool was out off action which was very disappointing for myself and my daughter we checked out a day early because we was fed up thank you for making my holiday a nightmare

Bad bad bad experience.

Bad bad bad !!! I book this hotel for a period of 6 days. This was paid in full in advance and even guaranteed with proof on paper from me. At reception 2 guys said with my arrival that there is no booking. They phone the owner / manager and could not sort it out between them. They give the phone to me and he said if i don't pay in full for that night then i must go. I pay again and the next morning i see him face to face at reception and he just give my nights money back with no explanation or excuse. At that stage he got proof of my payment in full in his hand.. They move me from one room to another where the phone did not work, door could not lock, television got no aerial connection wire, air conditioning make hard noise and could not sleep good at night, no water to shower in morning or toilet or any water at all and must ask daily for our free bottled water. This was a bad start of our holiday and spoil it totaly. Stay away from this Patong Swiss Beach Hotel.

Shocking

Room that I was given was in shocking condition all furniture falling apart. Nothing like the photographs on the web site. Upgraded to a some what better room with balcony at a considerable cost. This room did not have one matching piece of furniture and no wardrobe. Lucky to be alive the steel structure of balcony was so full of rust you could feel it move when you walked on it. Not to mention all the Pigeon poo on the hand railing that no one bothered to clean up. Had no water for a day and a half. Room floor tiles loose and cracked which would indicate structural issues to the building.Air conditioning out door unit made so much noise kept me awake. TV lost tuning which I finally fixed myself. Every day room cleaning would be different. Only one towel one day then no floor mat or face towels the next. No drinking water some days. Yes had kettle one cup and one mug no teaspoon no coffee or sugar. Referred most of the above to reception but nothing happened. Basically the place needs demolishing and re- built.

Stigma for hotel industry, I tried to be ultra polite and get manhandled and hit on body and face thrice by manager mr shafi , he came to my room and abused me, threatened me, hit me. Got dead scared even to go to police, threatened me, charged 3000 bhat extra, didn't give receipt.staff doesn't understand English and mgr repeatedly tells me to cancel booking and get lost..

Originally booked this hotel a month in advance. When we arrived we were told the restaurant and pool were both closed..... 2 main reasons we booked. Front desk was little help but when management was called they quickly remedied the situation and moved us to a new hotel on them.

So gross I quickly found a new hotel...

Tried to check in, but the lady had difficulty finding my reservation. then she tried to charge me again (no thank you)...should have noticed the sign at the desk that if you leave your room, they want you to leave the key at the desk....(umm again, no). Apparently they have no elevator (rooms was second floor) and the bell hop had already left for the day so we had to carry our bags up the stairs (we checked in at 5pm) Nothing looked like the photos. Walked in and the room was dark and dingy, with a funny smell. Also the power didn't work! The ceiling vent cover was open and hanging down with dust bunnies all over it. There was rust in the bathroom which wasn't even a separate room, it was an glass enclosed corner of the room with a sink and toilet - and the shower head was like over the toilet?? weird. gross. everything was dirty. and the door to walk in hit the bed so it felt crazy cramped. Needless to say we left our bags temporarily while we went and found a new hotel down the street. That hotel even walked with us and brought our bags over! When i went downstairs to check out of the Swiss-patong and tell them i wanted a refund, the lasy was rather rude and they told me to cancel on expedia. which of course i couldnt because i had already checked in. NEVER. AGAIN. Save your money and time by going somewhere else.

Absolute disgrace

Hotel owner Christian was very rude and arrogant. Aircon was poor, there was no water on 4 occasions and was told it was tough luck and given a small bottle of water to shower with. CHRISTIAN also threatened to throw me and my friend out for just leaving the key card in the electricity slot for just 2 hours while i went to do some shopping. Really disappointed in this service and hope whatif actually contact me back as they promised. DISGRACE

Across from the beach

Our stay was three nights and we enjoyed the location of this hotels was perfect. Away from the noise of Paton but easy walking distance to everything. The rooms are very small, they are also clean. house keeping was prompt. the TV was very small and the reception snowy. The fridge was very cold so that was nice. the sheets and towels are clean but tired looking. A good budget motel with a pool and ocean view at the pool.
