Friendly stuff, good service and clean rooms. The hotel lies in an relaxed area with a nice beach just around the corner. Much less tourists in this area of Paros. Been on a family trip with my wife and my daughter, clearly would recommend it.
Clean rooms , very responsive, good breakfast, very near to the beach and near sone very delicious seafood restaurants Good room size , nice balcony, a fridge in the room and an AC A must visit hotel This hotel is in a lovely location very close to the fishing village of Narges. We only had bed and breakfast. The breakfast was fine. The hotel had a lovely pool and a reasonable number of Sun beds. The staff were friendly and helpful
We stayed at the Hotel Narges for four nights on a bed and breakfast basis as part of a group touring in the Cyclades. Our room was situated on the first floor of a block overlooking a large courtyard and had a good sized balcony. The air conditioned room was large and had a small safe and a fridge. Water was provided on arrival, but there was no tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom, as in a lot of Greek hotels, would have benefitted greatly from an update. The shower hose, which was positioned over the bath, had to be attached to a rather flimsy bracket. If you applied too much water pressure there was a danger that it could detached itself. The plunger type plug on the sink was inoperative so the basin did not retain any water. Overall the rooms were cleaned to a good standard during our stay. The hotel has a good sized pool with a poolside bar but was not used as much as in the previous hotel by our group. This could have been due in part to a list of “pool rules” that were provided as part of the hotel room information documents. Some seemed a bit quirky or in some cases, frankly bizarre. Additionally the pool area did not open until 11.00. Another contributing factor was that the small sandy beach in Aliki Village was less than a five minute walk from the hotel with some local tavernas providing beds and umbrellas. We found the staff at the hotel, especially at breakfast to be exceptional. As well as carrying out their jobs efficiently, they appeared to take a genuine interest in their guest and were confident enough to try a bit of friendly banter with them. This helped to create a warm atmosphere. I would say that they enable the hotel to “punch above its weight”. Incidentally, the breakfast provided was varied and the food fresh. As mentioned earlier the hotel is ideally place with regards to the beach. Although Aliki is a small place, it has many very good eating places and the hotel is within easy walking distance to them all. Despite the criticism, I would certainly return to the Hotel Narges.
Paros is a very small island so don't expect 5 star luxury. This small hotel is situated in the village of Alyki. It is furnished in traditional Greek fashion. When we arrived the television was very old an we needed one with an HD socket. We mentioned it at reception and two hours later a new television was delivered to out room. The room was a good size with free wifi and safe. We were there on B&B basis which suited us as we like to eat out in the evenings when in Greece. It is situated about 50 metres from the small beach in the village. On either side of the beach there are several tavernas all selling great Greek food at reasonable prices. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere of the place reminded us of our visits to Greece in the 80's. Paros is a beautiful island and when we return we will definitely stay st the Narges again.
This was the second hotel on our tour and we enjoyed our stop in this hotel. Our room was quite large with an extra settee which we believed that would convert into an additional bed. It was clean and we had a smallish balcony which although the outlook was nothing special was pleasant enough to sit and drink a bottle of wine in the evening. Breakfast was taken in a smallish dining area but when we were there there were no problems in finding a seat and the choice of food was considerable. The real plus about this hotel was its location near to the beach in the small fishing village of Aliki. Here you can experience your own Shirley Valentine moment. Fishing boats bobbing in the bay, waterside restaurants, most of which proved popular with our group and a small sandy beach from which you can swim and in the evening sip a cocktail and watch the glorious sunsets.
This hotel is in a lovely location very close to the fishing village of Narges. We only had bed and breakfast. The breakfast was fine. The hotel had a lovely pool and a reasonable number of Sun beds. However the rooms were disappointing. The room we had was a double, the bed had a surround about 18inches wide all the way round the bed which was made of wickerThis made the bed very difficult to get in and out off. It was also very low. The mattress was inside this wicker case. Every time you moved the bed creaked . The room was also short of electric sockets. They provided a hair dryer but there wasn't a socket anywhere near a mirror that you could plug it into. When we arrived the remote for the air conditioning had no batteries in it . To be fair they did get us some. The staff were friendly and helpful but I would not stay here again
I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a tour with Santorini and Naxos. After Santorini which is quite cosmopolitan this made me feel like I had stepped back in time. The hotel sits in the small fishing village of Aliki which is about 20 minutes drive from the the capital Parikia. It was the most rustic of the hotels we stayed in but the most authentic too. Painted in white and blue and built in a low rise complex, the layout was random with blocks of rooms with either a balcony or terrace. The rooms inside were modern and had a fridge and were nice and clean. The hotel has a pool and a bar/ terrace where you can get snacks although this is not necessary as a 5 minute walk will take you to the harbour where there are about 9 tavernas which seemed to be consistent in quality. Fish is a speciality of course. There is a small supermarket that stocks most things in the village and a pharmacy just up the road. It is a very pleasant and chilled place to stay. The breakfast in the hotel was adequate but not the best and the eating area is quite small. The manager was not the friendliest but the lady on reception was very nice and yes the dog is cute .
Everything was awesome, the room, the food, the pool, the cocktails, the staff is great, Alyki is beautyful and very peaceful, The beach is 50metres away from the hotel which makes it even more adorable, To all the staff and management in Narges thank you for your service
Stayed May 2017 as part of a three island tour. Rooms need updating especially the bathrooms mine had a rusty plug hole and no chrome left on the taps! Mosquitos everywhere so take plenty of spray with deet in it and be prepared to still get bitten ! Pharmacist is out of e door turn left and 20yrds up the road. Turn right and you come to the pretty waterfront . Try the Balcony restaurant or the Aliki you won't be disappointed and make sure you are hungry the portions are huge!
The hotel looks pretty from the outside and is conveniently situated for the beach and bars. All else needs attention! The rooms are tired especially the bathrooms. The bar is closed all day so you need to walk down the front for every coffee or drink you need. The staff are quite discourteous and seem to find it hard to smile or be polite to the guests. The last straw for me was the pool being suddenly padlocked and chained in the middle of the day to stop the guests swimming or using the loungers!
