Upstairs Master had a view of the ocean which was nice. Condo was very clean and condition of condo was good. Very comfortable bed and great location, quiet but only a few minutes away from all amenities. Love the Parksville area and can’t wait to be back!

This was an amazing place to stay, clean modern and comfortable, great location. The pool area was very fun. My only complaint was the beach area was not ideal it was a long walk and lots of slippery rocks to get to the sand but it is a short drive to the community park with an awesome beach

Parksville Sunrise Ridge

Mostly our stay was enjoyable. The listing says that suite provided shampoo, conditioner and soap but it was not enough for 3 people for 5 nights so my suggestion would be bring your own. Unfortunately there was no face clothes in the suite and the host did not respond after our initial enquiry. However, the highlight to our stay was the view from our patio while we enjoyed our dinners in the evening.

It's a great place for a family. There are lots of kids around, nice staff at the resort, and an impressive beach at low tide.

The first thing we noticed was how impeccably clean the unit was. The hide-a-bed mattress was very comfortable so everyone had a good sleep. We had difficulty connecting to wifi the first night but the next day the housekeeper that was cleaning another unit was quick to get all the info we needed.

Great stay. Nice property, good location. We were informed that there was construction near our rental before booking and our three year old loved watching the workers and machines go about their jobs. Close to the beach.

Disappointed

We were very impressed with the property - well furnished and extremely well appointed. Andrew was quite professional and check-in was seamless. The problem was we were on a construction site. I don't believe we were adequately advised of the extent of the construction. It really ruined our trip. We had a nail gun going off constantly and construction started promptly at 8 am and went to 5... The portatoilet for the workers was right outside our front door. Andrew felt he could not help us deal with this - did not offer a discount or offer to move us to another location. We would not have booked our stay had we known the extent of the construction. That said once the construction is complete this would be a super property to rent for a short or long vacation.

Perfect Getaway resort

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this brand new townhouse style resort. The place was extremely well laid out and clean and included all the necessities for a weekend stay. I would love to rent this place for a long term stay if I could.

No sleeping in here

Although this property is clean and new there is extensive construction going on behind and beside this accommodation. We were woken up between 7:30-8:30 on the weekdays due to nail guns, compressors, vehicles driving and backing up, workers talking etc. We couldn’t use the back deck in the morning or during the day as it was loud, dusty and there was work going on right there. In the description on VRBO it says “there may be construction” and I feel this is misleading as there was loud construction every day except on the weekend. The property was in a good location with access to the ocean if you have good mobility. Very clean and new.

Enjoyable stay in Parksville

Clean and modern townhouse - air conditioning was welcome, comfortable double sofa bed and the pool/hot tub at the resort was great! Andrew was prompt in responding to questions. Since the resort is under construction (which we had been informed of beforehand) and this unit was right by the work site it was very dusty, so we didn’t use the patio or bbq. That was fine by us but might bother others who wish to cook on their vacation :) Workers arrived around 8am and left around 5, so between those hours it was noisy but with windows closed (which we did for dust anyways) it was unbelievably quiet. They must have triple glazed windows. Air conditioning kept the unit very comfortable and we were out most of the day anyways, so weren’t too bothered by the mess outside. Beach access isn’t great for those with mobility issues, but the resort next door allows access and Rathtrevor Provincial Park beach is a very short drive away. When it’s all done this will be a nicely laid out resort and we would stay again!
