Nice place!!

Nice hotel. Great history. Beautiful place. Cool restaurant and bar. The front door and registration staff are positioned for a high class experience but can’t really pull it off as they seem to lack dedication and training. But overall, very good. Will stay there again.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. It isn’t a great location. The check in clerk was one of the rudest I’ve ever met. Due to her attitude I almost canceled my reservation with them for next month however, the rest of the staff and especially the restaurant staff went above and beyond.. the food is greatly overpriced and not really that tasty but the staff in the restaurant is the best I’ve ever seen.

The grid ceilings in the rooms diminished the sense of quality despite the use of cornice moldings. The room was nicely furnished, but the bed was too soft for my personal preference and comfort.

We the antique atmosphere. But really we missed the amenities. It seemed everything cost extra..eg. no fridge, no complimentary food or drink. Our breakfast cost $35!!! And worst of all we did not get the room we requested. It was small and un comfortable. Parking was inconvenient. Can’t recommend the place!

Hotel was great, restaurant not so much

The hotel itself was great. The online check-in really made the process fast from walking in to getting to the room. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant. Not only was the service slow but the food was average at best. I ordered chicken tacos and I received what I can only describe as something I would have made at 1 am after being out at a bar. We have the restaurant another try for breakfast, took nearly an hour from the time we sat down to when we received our food, and we were only a table of 4.

Don't count on getting what you reserved!

I made my reservations 4 months in advance since I am a senior with specific needs. Requested one king bed, shower with safety bars (no bath tub) and safety bars near toilet. Called the day before and confirmed this. Was told that I would have a king with a shower and toilet with safety bars. Arrived the next day and given a room with two full beds and a shower that you had to squeeze between the toilet and sink in order to close the bathroom door to get to the shower. Asked for a another room and was given a king bed but now a bath tub with one safety bar. and still had to squeeze in to shut the bathroom door to get to the bath tub. I just gave up and made due. Don't think I would stay there again.

Nice Historic Hotel

Historic hotel and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The description said "valet parking", but this was not accurate. They do have free parking for guests.
