I'm not even sure where to start on how disappointing this stay was. With the reviews it had, I thought we would have a clean, nice play to stay and I have never been more wrong. The property was clearly outdated, but that was not the issue. It was visibly dirty and moldy. The couch cushion was still 'up'. The beds crunched like we were sleeping on a waterproof mattress pad so every roll was crunchy. The bed was hard. There was a used bar of soap in the tub. The shower head bulleted water on you and it was mildewed closed so you couldn't adjust it. Clumps of hair in the shower curtain. Some type of mold/rust surrounding the mirror. Because the vent didn't work, water stains down every wall. The tv was tilted sideways and was so old, the picture quality was affected.
According to the front desk at check in, there was no way to get to the pool and hot tub without going outside in zero degree temps. Turns out there was a sketchy stairwell we could take instead that was inside connecting the properties. The pool area itself was like no other. Mold everywhere, cigarette bud, tampon, rust, zero ventilation so it was so steamy you couldn't see the person in front of you, wet soda covering the tables even after they 'cleaned' after it closed. The paint was peeling everywhere. No towels. They said they were slowly remodeling, but there was mold growing where they were 'remodeling'. The rust on the bathroom doors was so weird given they were inside.
