Peaceful place with garden

This 2-bedroom apartment has a nice open floor plan with comfortable couches, dining table and kitchen. On the ground floor, you enter through a gate leading to a wonderful garden, then into the apartment via a sliding glass door. There were some cobwebs around the place, but nothing harmful. Lots of natural light, but we kept the curtains closed because of a heat wave. Two large fans created a cross-breeze in the living area. At night, we took a fan into each bedroom to keep things cool.The property management, Veeve, was very responsive before and during our stay. Our door became stuck and someone came to fix it within 2 hours. There is a slight confusion in the listing regarding the one and a half bathrooms. The listing implies that there is a toilet in Bathroom 1 and a toilet in Bathroom 2. There is just one toilet in Bathroom 2.The washer is a combination washer and dryer, but the dryer cycle leaves clothes pretty damp. We simply hung them up and they dried quickly in the warm weather.We loved the neighborhood. Within a block, there was a grocery store, bakery, cafe and a choice of Japanese, Italian and French restaurants. There's even a cat cafe two doors away. Nearby were two Metro stops that took us anywhere in Paris. Best of all, the twice weekly outdoor Bastille Market took place a couple of blocks away.We'd recommend this place for a nice stay in Paris.
