Twin share and room was bigger than others- there was room for two suitcases and a desk without climbing over one another. stayed on third floor- hotel has a lift - and loved the quiet hum of street noise- when windows were closed you couldn't hear a thing. Decor was great. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but enjoyed a welcome drink in the bar. Barman was fabulous as were all the staff working throughout the 5 days. i would stay there again.
Was privileged to come across this hotel bar near the Pantheon. Was graciously welcomed by Haroldo, who after just a short conversation clearly has a passionate and a fount of knowledge when it comes to his work. It was such a pleasure that when he invited us back we were compelled to visit a second time. We were treated to a tasting based on his expert advice and he gave us his personalised service. It was outstanding.
Excellent location!! Clean and cozy rooms. Above all - the hotel staff is amazing, courteous and smiling (especially a receptionist named Belinda), the are very helpfull and can asist you with anything - directions, metro stations, tickets to shows, good restaurants
It is a typical French hotel, small room, elevator small and sometimes not working properly. But at the end, it s very well located, you can feel that you are really in Paris, not in standard room from other brand hotels that have same decor around the world. Service is also good. No restaurant at hotel but good options close by. Breakfast was ok, not sure price as it was included in the rate.
We spent 4 nights here. The rooms were comfortable and clean - an easy-to-use thermostat so you can easily set the temperature you like - with a well-appointed bathroom and a small balcony overlooking Rue des Ecoles. The Bridge Bar downstairs is a great place to relax - we spent an enjoyable hour drinking cocktails while chatting with Ronaldo the bartender - and reception staff were very helpful and welcoming (thanks Belinda). It's a fabulous location: close to St-Michel, Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame/Ile de Cite and right around the corner from the Pantheon and the amazing Le Coupe Chou restaurant. As we did not include breakfast in our booking, there were also plenty of places nearby with a set price breakfast (9-12euros) of juice, coffee, pastries and eggs/omelette of some description. The hotel also provided 'Handy', an Android mobile phone that we took with us everywhere - it was perfect for finding our way around and booking tickets online as we arrived at various places in order to skip-the-line. Such a 'handy' thing to have. And there are a number of Metro stops for different lines nearby so it was very easy to get out and about.
Perhaps I was just lucky, but my room was huge for Paris and very nicely decorated. Cosy, warm, beautiful. The staff at the hotel is super super friendly and helpful. They really made me feel welcome and looked after. The location is also superb - I always prefer the Left Bank, but Villa Pantheon has particularly great location. Plenty of great restaurants next door. They could've had few more plugs in the room, but otherwise the rooms are well equipped. The price is very good for this quality in Paris. I will come back. Definitely.
Great location near the Luxembourg Gardens and the Pantheon. As usual in Paris, there's a Metro stop a few blocks away. I really enjoyed the British gentlemen's club atmosphere in the public areas, with a lobby full of leather sofas and chairs, walls lined with bookshelves and lots of dark wood. I found it charming, and the adjoining bar was lovely. I never made it there for a drink, but wish I had. It seemed charming and intimate but not cramped. It's important to keep in mind that this is a European hotel and the basic rooms are small by American standards. This didn't bother me, but I have seen some negative remarks about the size. There's plenty of storage in the room, and the bathroom was clean and functional. Breakfast is served in a nice room off to itself and is bounteous. Yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice, croissants, bread, lunch meat and cheese are among the many choices, along with brew your own hot beverages. My only complaint is that I thought I was to receive a 40% discount and was charged the full 15E. Even at that rate, the charge is more than fair given the scope of choices.
very nice room, well suited; along with excellent breakfast selection and bonus free carry along GPS, cell phone that came in very handy; convenient to the Left Bank, Pantheon, the Latin Quarter, car rental, subways,
This hotel is located in the Latin Quarter a stone's throw from the Pantheon. The rooms and bathrooms are tiny and electric outlets for charging equipment are few and far between. A decent choice if you have to be near the Sorbonne, but otherwise I think you can do better. Not up to what you would expect from a four star hotel.
The hotel is centrally located and is in easy walking distance to many major attractions, subway and buses. Many nice bistros and restaurants near by. The front desk very friendly and helpful. The bar is not open Sunday and Monday but when open very friendly and when asked good suggestions
