Loved this hotel and location in the Latin Quarter! Our second extended stay in two years. Elkin and Haroldo were so genuine and hospitable to us given our lack of French and made us feel truly welcomed and happy! Thank you!

Nice hotel located in the Latin Quarter, three blocks from the Panthéon. Good WiFi connection and really great Breakfast Buffet. I would recommend it.

This room was SMALL. We could barely fit our suitcases in there. The hotel could use a major cosmetic facelift. This is not luxury and would be equivalent to a US 2 star hotel. Otherwise, the room was clean (no bugs, yay!) and the location was perfect. Close to the metro and RER. The balcony was awesome overlooking the street and relatively soundproof when the door was closed. In summary, if you get a good deal (we paid under a $100 a night), this is a good place to call home in Paris for a few nights.

The hotel is ok, with a reasonably clean, spacious room. There was an issue with the toilet during my stay, which was not resolved (but they did give me a free breakfast). On the whole, the hotel was adequate, but nothing extraordinary for the 4-star rating. Wifi is free, and breakfast for 15 euros is available at 7am in the mornings.

The hotel needs an update and certainly four stars are not warranted for this hotel. The standard rooms are very small, bathrooms also small. The furnishing is dated and needs upgrade. While we were staying there, there was a foundation shift due to recent rains resulting in floor disappearing literally under our chairs in the breakfast room. The hotel closed the breakfast room and served breakfast in very crowded conditions in the bar in the hotel lobby. However, the location of the hotel is excellent. Easy walk to Notre Dame, the restaurant world in St. Michel and easy access to metro for airports and RR stations.

The hotel is located at a very centralized location. Overall good stay! Pros: - Five min walking distance to the Metro - Walking distance to Latin Quarter, Notre Dame - Large room for Paris's standard -Friendly staffs Cons: - Little bit dated - Little hotel accomodations

Smooth, easy, professional, clean, well located. Rooms are small by north american standards, but very well appointed, comfortable.

Exceptional location walking distance to Notre Dame Seine Louvre and Eiffel Tower located by fantastic stores and restaurants in safe international Sorbonne area. Beautiful hotel will be back!

The bathroom is a little tired and SMALL. The room was O.K. but not very bright. However the location is good - not far from Notre Dame, and the Pantheon. Plenty of restaurants and bistros close by.

We were there from Friday to Tuesday. The Latin quarter is a great place to stay: great food if you stay away from the tourist traps by St Michel. The food around that area is merely average. The sites around the Latin Quarter are great and access to the metro and the RER systems is very close and easy. So you can't find a much better area of Paris to stay. The staff steered us to a great place one time but also (a different staff member) tried to get us to take a very circuitous route to pere lachaise another day. We requested a bottle of water once (the minbar was locked and they never had the key) and that never came until I went back down to the front desk. So the service was average at best. Our room was very small but real cute. Hardwood floors and pretty wallpaper. The bathroom was also tiny but usable. The room only had one power outlet and the wifi access is a joke. It would go on and off regularly. The hotel noise is pretty high. We were on the fourth floor up and could hear much if the revelry and cars go by. Fortunately after a lot of siteseeing, it became tolerable. All in all, Paris is very expensive and this hotel represents a relatively good value.

Very nice hotel. Great location. Great breakfast. The manager was not very friendly, actually insulted my daughter. I liked this hotel very much but would not return because of the manager.

You can beat this hotel for the location. A 5 minute walk to Notre Dame! The room was clean and comfortable and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful

This place is a hidden jewel. its cozy old fashioned and in a fantastic location right in middle of the Latin quarter. its a walking distance from the Pantheon & Notre dam plus all the shopping and food your heart desires. the rooms have windows right on a side street. its fantastic for smokers ! Nice staff and its a reasonable bargain. great place for couples get away. Enjoy !!

Very Good, staff was good, could speak english, very good location. Room was small but clean. Close to the Metro. .I would stay again.

This hotel is not even 2 star hotel, the beds are very old, uncomfortable, hard and noisy. Nobody ever gets to the bar, which is almost always closed. The carpet at the elevator is dirty and old. I paid about 250usd per night for a 'superior' room which was lousy at best. The lighting is so gloomy, and on top of that several bulbs were blown out. So I had to report them and two days later they were replaced. The sofa cushions were torn down! Such a disappointment. The only good thing, (with the exception of the manager, which is the old guy in the pictures with a mustache) is the staff, I speak French and they were very nice, but I noticed that they went out of their way with their English to help other guests. My advice, don't waste your money here. I don't think they have invested any money in furniture or in any remodeling in the past 15 years.

Villa Pantheon is a fine, clean hotel. I booked a 3 night stay, but was bumped to a hotel in the same chain for the first night in the 13th arrondisement. I wasn't given a good explanation other than a "water" problem. The hotel I was moved to said many customers from other hotels in the chain were booked there that night. I suspect that the hotel over-booked and then bumped some of us. I read of this problem in another review before I booked but thought it was maybe a "one-of" incident. I would assume now that it's not and that other travelers may also be bumped. It's a good price, good location, but if you don't want to be inconvenienced, I recommend staying elsewhere.

The hotel room was extremely small and although the air condition was set at the coolest, the room was still was very warm.

I really loved how close this hotel was to several metro stations as well as The Latin Quarter and Notre Dame. Staff was helpful and always welcoming. I only wish breakfast was included in the price. They also did not have a clock in the room so make sure you bring a watch or cell phone with an alarm.

My wife and I just spent a week at the Villa Pantheon and we would easily return to the same hotel in the future. You couldn’t ask for a much better location – it is on a quiet street in the Latin Quarter and only a couple of blocks from St. Michel, the metro, and the Seine. The staff spoke English, they provided free Wi-Fi in the rooms, and the air conditioner kept the room as cold as we could have wanted. The room was an average size for a Paris hotel room and the furnishings were somewhat dated but everything was clean and worked well.

This hotel is just blocks away from Notre Dame cathedral, a taxi stand & Metro stop. The staff all spoke English very well and were warm and helpful. The breakfast was good and was a convenient feature. I hate to but I have to share just two negatives. Our bed was a bit too hard and our room was dark.
