As the very first hotel that I stayed in in Europe I found Villa Luxembourg to be an excellent place to stay. It is very clean and centrally located close to all amenities with very helpful ,friendly staff. Lovely housekeepers and reception staff! I particularly enjoyed soaking in the very deep full sized bath after walking around Paris on those very hot days! It was strange that crockery and cutlery was not provided but I bought my own. You could rent it though.

This is not a 4star hotel as advertised by alpharooms but is a good 3 stat. the central location and its proximity to the luxenbourg gardens, Monpernasse tower and 2 metro stations make ideal for a paris city break.

Service was great, and they were very helpful to us getting to our excursions on time. Also very kind and respectful every time we walked in the hotel. They included a guest phone to help us with our troubles not being able to use ours.

Excellent Hotel. Efficient and friendly staff...... good buffet breakfast, plenty to eat and ample choice.... Premises clean and tidy. Excellent location, about 1 hour walk to the Champs Elysees. About 1 hour from CDG Airport, by RER.

The hotel is close to the Vavin stop on metro line 4, and also stops for RER B and metro 12 are not far away. The neighbourhood is one of the nicest in Paris, away from touristy or congested areas. Our room was spacious by Parisien standards, and quiet, although facing the boulevard Montparnasse. Special feature is the kitchenette in the room, which we did use. Note that utensils are provided by the hotel for a fee, we brought our own. The staff were helpful, English was not a problem. In particular, the breakfast staff made sure that we got an early breakfast on our last day, as we had a catch an early morning train. The continental breakfast buffet was adequate to give a great start to our day, and more importantly, included in the booking price, which is a rarity in Paris. Overall we found the hotel quite pleasant during our week-long stay, except a few minor issues here and there. I would recommend for a comfortable stay in Paris on a reasonable budget.

Really unprofessional service. When you come to Villa, probably, you’re going to wait for couple of hours when your room is ready. English language issues with the staff. It’s 4* but I don’t know why.

We have stayed at your Hotel on the 1, February to 4, February 2018.Its very close to Metro Station and Starbucks is just 75 mt down the road. Receptions are very helpful, breakfast was very nice ( compare the other Hotels in Paris). .But, house keeper was very aggressive and very stressful. We couldn't ask her any other questions. Hotel looks very old not like the web-site and room smells, humidity and very small not like the web-site. There were no slippers and I was so lucky to took my own along with me.

The gentleman who checked us in and was there most mornings was so nice and helpful. I think he was Albanian. We arrived at approx. 7am and he tried very hard to accommodate us while we waited for a room to open up. He gave us 1 room but when we checked it was a complete mess and had a pungent odor. We decided to wait for other rooms. When we did get our rooms they were nice. I would rate them an American 3 stars.

The hotel was very nice and tidy, they cleaned our room every day. Staff was very kind and helpful in the hotel. We stayed 4 nights and we felt like we are the only guests because the hotel was very quiet even if it was next to one of themain road in Paris. Comfy bed and big enough for two person. The hotel is only 20-30 mins walk away from Invalides and Eiffel tower. The hotel surrounded by many restaurants, shops and bars. You can find metro or bus stop within 1-2 mins walk. So its one of the best area to stay in Paris. You can get continental breakfast in the hotel for only €12 what is very good because you cant get a coffee under €5 on the street and you didnt eat yet. The room has a hairdryer, microwave, fridge, minibar and a mini cooker, so you can make your own food if you want to. If you want a nice, cute and quiet hotel in the city center go for it because you wont be dissapointed.

The bed is perfect and the room is just what is needed. The hotel is near the subway, very good location. All staff is super nice, good and complete breakfast, i would totally recomend it to anyone. Perfect for a 2-5 days trip.
