We travelled from Nottingham to stay in this particular hotel. On booking they said they have a spa with facilities to use in house. Now. When we got there our room was dark and small. The lighting was awful. We decided to go down to the spa to see what was available. When we go to the 'pool' area which was about the size of a kitchen sink, all I can describe is what looked like a swingers party. We made a swift exit!! We looked at the treatments available... £140 for a massage!!! We decided to head out for the night instead. The hotel is close to the Eiffel Tower so this wasn't too bad. The second night we was going to try the spa again but noticed it had been closed between 6pm- 10pm for a 'private session'. Need I say anymore.
We stayed at this hotel in June 2017 and an expensive mens bag was stolen from our room. We believe we know when and how it was stolen by a staff member, and we have contacted the hotel multiple times regarding this but they have refused to directly contact us back regarding this. Very poor response. If you do stay here do not leave any valuables in your room.
Wonderful neighborhood and really enjoyed the staff. The hotel itself was beautiful. The suite we had was amazing with great views! Highly reccomend. The food service was a bit pricey for the amount of food and slow. The bar was also odd. Didn't like that there was a self-service cocktail station. I expected to have a drink made for me especially if I was paying €13. I also would have liked the bartender to be able to make different cocktails.
Looks great, virtually nothing works as expected for a modern hotel. Light over the sink was so dim that it was very difficult to shave or put on makeup. No hooks to hang clothes, towels, etc. Front desk staff were pretty much clueless. Pool was not much bigger than a hot tub. Best feature was the location.
This hotel has a nice atmosphere, decor is very sultry. Staff friendly and speak English well which is helpful. Hotel is a little far out but you can walk to the Eiffel Tower in less than 30 minutes so not too bad.
Late June 2017 I stayed two nights at hotel Félicien as I was attending a meeting. This was, unfortunately at the same time as the Paris Air Show, so prices were inflated, despite using corporate rates offered by the organization where I had a meeting. The hotel is well situated in a nice and cute neighborhood, the nearest Metro station is quite a walk though (there are two in the vicinity, so depending on the line you’re after it is quite a walk. On Line ten and RER C you will find Javel-station to be the closest and on line 9 Jasmin station which is furthest away). Check-in was smooth and the two receptionists tried to enthusiastically invite me to a (cocktail) party taking place in the adjacent cocktail bar, which I had to reject due to other commitments. My room was located on the fifth floor and rather nice but despite the nice design some signs of wear and tear were visible. The good thing is the toilet which is separated from the rest of the bathroom. A downside was the shower/ bathtub, where the dividing glass wall could not keep the water in, so the floor tends to get wet and slippery during showering. The breakfast was ok, but definitely not great. I got little attention from staff. I wanted to order a coffee but did not get the chance as the waiter never reappeared in the breakfast room. On top, there was a rather limited choice of food. The hotel also has a gym (read workout room), which is quite a joke to be honest, a very small tiny room in the basement with hardly any equipment. All in all, hotel Félicien is a decent hotel, but somewhat over priced at the time I was staying.
Stayed 2 nights for French Open, absolutely the best location. Easy 20 mins walk to Roland Garros and the same distance to Eiffel Tower along the beautiful river bank. The room is very small, but the shower is good and bed is super comfortable.
We stayed at the hotel to visit Roland Garros this year. The hotel is well located for the tournament and is in a nice suburb of the city. However a valuable bag was stolen from our room and we believe someone entered our room and took the bag whilst we were in the hotel’s spa area. We asked staff on the Thursday morning if the bag had been seen or found, and we contacted the hotel to report the theft but so far have had no response at all to our contact. We are very disappointed in the response so far from the hotel.
Very well located for visits of Roland Garros/French Open, but also not far away from the city-center. Good connections with bus and Metro. Very calm hotel with good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Spa-Area very small.
An excellent hotel for the value, with excellent friendly service and staff. Breakfast was exceptional! I found the quality and cleanliness really good too. I only had some minor problems connecting to the Internet but staff heed and everything after that was great.
