Holidays, the wifi in the hotel is very slow, they do not change the towels, this is a motel not a hotel, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, this is literally apartments converted to a hotel👎🏽
Convenient to shopping and sightseeing. The room was a decent size by Parisian standards, but the sheets were dirty. Breakfast was a step up from other four-star properties. There was a wide selection, including fresh fruit. There is a fantastic whirlpool and hammam in the basement. Unfortunately, these were often occupied by couples, so it was easy to feel that you one was intruding. The staff were all cheerful. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back, but competition is fierce in Paris. There are a lot of good choices. Although competitive, I’m not sure that the Félicien has the best value for money.
Stayed in the hotel in early December If you like walking it's a great location - 5 minutes from the rive seine - on a map look for the statue de la liberte - from where you can get s boat down the river - we walked to all the main tourist points from the hotel and returned very tired - the hotel is set in a mainly residential area so at night there is only a couple of bars and restaurants - we were the only tourists which was evidenced by the waiters asking where we were from etc - but that made it special - it felt abroad ! And with the added benefit of drinks half price of the more tourist areas - I can't really comment on price as you need to keep it in perspective - we had a room, a sitting area and hot tub with access to the spa - I imagine 15 minutes closer to the centre this would be out of our price range We didn't order breakfast which was a good result as was a lovely bakery on the corner where a coffee and croissant was €3 - great result Staff were lovely and their English was very good and far better than my French Bath robes were also great Negatives for me The shower ! I'd read other reports about the room flooding as the shower is broken and won't stay in place - yep we also soaked everything The main one was I ordered flowers for my arrival for my wife - I was charged €60 for about 15 roses that were just left on the bed - looking very much like supermarket flowers - even had to put them in the glass from the room as no other way to put them in water - irony is there is a beautiful florist about 50m from the hotel and great bouquets for €20 So yes a god hotel in a residential area but I wouldn't pay for flowers or breakfast
Very poor hotel not with the price staff rude useless! Spa crap dirty rooms dirty! Noisy! Things to do nothing round there breakfast 18pound per person nothing there cleaning of room they obviously do t know how to use a hover! As I went out and something on he floor that I knew was there was still there after cleaning was meant to of been carried out hotel small bar dirty would not recommend this hotel at all to anybody would rather stayed in caravan.
I was very disappointed by this hotel at all levels: staff, service and cleanliness (the toilet hadn't been properly cleaned!). Neither the hammam nor the sauna were working. I told reception that the stay was terrible value for money upon checkout and was offered an hour of privatisation of the spa. I told them I wasn't interested in this as I wasn't planning on coming back and they didn't offer anything else. I honestly would not recommend this hotel and will not go back. There are much better places to stay in Paris for that price.
Stayed at Hotel Felicien for a weekend work trip to Paris and brought my partner along with me. I thought this hotel would be perfect as it looked very different and quirky. The location wasn't bad, luckily we like to walk and explore but there wasn't many restaurants in the area which is something us foodies struggled with. RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATION- L'Ogre - 5 minute walk from the hotel - steak restaurant and A LOT of wine choices. Friendly staff. Local restaurant. Book in advance they managed to squeeze us in on a Saturday night because we were so lost for food! Breakfast at hotel - not much choice but still very good... fruit, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, pancakes, egg, bacon, baguette, pastries, cereals. Rooms - try and request anything but the pearl room. Its very out dated...we asked to change and got moved to the Ruby floor which is LOVELY! Cute balcony which was nice, bathroom is elegant along with the room. Shower did leak but no problem that a towel can't sort out... Beds comfy so much space, can't really fault. Spa was out of service so we had access to the Jacuzzi which was so relaxing at night after a long day of 25,000 steps around the city! Staff - I think this was the part that made this hotel stay PERFECT! The 2 reception staff we met (Lady from Romania and young Gentleman) - So friendly and helpful, gave recommendations, allowed longer stay in Jacuzzi, overall perfect... and they deserve a pay rise ;) I would like to try and stay more in the centre of paris if I come again but this hotel was perfect for what we needed for a weekend stay!
The Hotel is quite small and cosy, also has a SPA that was closed due to maintenance, but it did not matter for us since we got access to the outdoor jacuzzi on the top floor. The staff working is truely 5 star, they were always kind and helped out with every request with a smile. Our room on the fifth floor had a really nice bed, a small balcony and a Nice bathroom. We will for sure stay here again when visiting Paris.
We have just stayed at the Hotel Felicien. The hotel is tucked away off the Main Street but trust me this is a super benefit very quiet at night. The room was smaller than we like however perfectly suitable for a short trip. ( We just slept and showered in it) The hotel is modern in style and has everything you need including a must for most travellers these days WiFi! The location is fab, just a short walk to the main attractions and a pretty good shopping centre, and Javel station. Have to point out the beds, they were just fantastic slept well in the comfy beds with crisp white bed linen changed everyday!!! Would defo stay here again if we are doing Paris again!!!!
Would not recommend this hotel at all. Rated 4-star more like a 2 star. Too far away from main attractions. Not many nice restaurants and cafes in the area. Shower curtain which was mouldy and stank the entire bathroom out. Water from the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor.
It’s been amazing. The staff is great. Clean an great Parisian atmosphere. The facility is new. Great restaurants in the area. Everything feels local and homey. It’s not close to main attractions but it’s the exactly the point.
