The hotel is in a good location, not far from the Moulin Rouge and Scare Coeur and three metro stations. The hotel offered good breakfast, and also the opportunity to visit any of the 11other hotels in the chain all north of the Saine to use their facilities which was good, they also provide snacks and soft drinks for free in all these hotels wich is great. Some guests at the weekend were noisy, coming back to the hotel at 02:00 then being noisy for another hour downstairs in the seating area, we felt that staff could have done more to ask them to be quiet. Otherwise the hotel was great.
Upon arrival the reception staff were very polite and friendly. Our room was of a decent size and so was the bathroom. It was also very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, they had a selection of breads, cereals and hot food comprising of scrambled eggs and bacon or sometimes sausages. Enough to set you up for the day. The location of this hotel is very convenient. It is possible to walk to some of the tourist spots but there is a metro 2 minutes away called Rome. This is the number 2 (blue) line which is very convenient. At 1pm the breakfast room becomes the snack room, there is a selection of biscuits and cakes on offer, also sweets and fizzy drinks. This is very handy indeed and we appreciated it a lot. These are all free, and you can actually walk into any Astotel in Paris and use this service. During the night time there is no noise disturbance so we got a good nights sleep. The hotel staff were kind and friendly, they provided us with a city map and also called a taxi for us upon departure. They would always say hello as we were coming or going and were always smiling, they were very approachable, although we didn't really have much occasion to ask them anything but it was nice to know they were there. Also this hotel is very good value for money. I have nothing negative to say about this place. It was in the 8th which is not the closest to all the usual attractions but the metro was so convenient we didn't have any issues.
This hotel has an excellent customer service. Very clean and with great location. They offer free food and drinks at the bar from 1pm onwards. The breakfast was superb and the staffs (especially Mark and Taj) were very accomodating. Would highly recommend this place.
My teenage son wanted to stay in a hotel like the Funkey Hotel, Brussels. He described this chain of hotels in Paris as it's grown up siblings. Our family room at the Astoria was bright, spacious and very comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good. The free soft drinks bar and snacks available to us to any of the 16 hotels on the chain provided welcome refreshment while sight seeing. Been recommending these hotels to anyone that will listen!
I always stay in this hotel as it is convenient (close to subway) and good value for money. The staff are on hand with information and it is a nice touch that there is a snack bar available to guests throughout the day. I will stay there again in the future.
I was looking for hotel for a week - close to all the main attractions - and Astoria had really good price if you book 4-5 months ahead. I must say the location is first good thing about it - metro nearby, bars, Galeries Lafayette 10min walk away etc. Louvre was 35min walk. So its perfect for tourist. Breakfast was simple - and they made pankcake specifically for my child - so there is this nice personal touch in a midpriced hotel.
Excellent hitel with all modern amenities, modern design, compact, good location near tube line, nearby good indian restaurant, quiet place, accessible to other sites, had a good buffet breakfast, was well organised and helpful
My daughter and I had a wonderful Stay here for Spring break. The rooms are large based upon European standards. The hotel offers a breakfast that is quite good. T.J. who works during breakfast was awesome. He always had a smile on his face and took the time to get to know us. The hotel also offers snacks and drinks for free. The hotel had a lot to offer at a very good price. The metro station is within walking distance. I would stay here again!!
It was our first time in Paris and we stayed in this hotel for 5 nights because of the goods reviews we read. Happy to say that we've made the right choice. Our overall stay was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special mention to the following staff who made our stay extra wonderful - Tej, Sid, Ryan and Renato. The location may not be very close to the city center but the bus station is just on the end of the block which is about 2 minutes walk. The station is very accessible to the major attractions. It gives you a direct line to Champs Elysees, Eiffel Tower, Montmartre and La Fayette. There's also a lot of nearby restaurants and grocery stores. The rooms are just right for 2 people. It still gives you space for your big luggages. What we also liked was it has safety deposit box and wifi in the rooms. We also loved their breakfast. Simple French breakfast but everything was so delicious. What's best is they also offer free snacks and drinks in the afternoon until evening. We've never experienced this in any other hotel even 5 star hotels. I would definitely recommend Hotel Astoria Paris to our family and friends.
Stayed 3 nights at this hotel, the bedroom is not big but has all that you need (if you choose a couple bed). The staff is great and always helpfull, special thanks to Elisabeth for helping us! The breakfast has a lot of diversity and you have free snack-bar from 1pm to 2am. All rooms have free minibar, filled daily. Another great aspect is that you have other 15 hotels trough the city where you can snack and relax a bit. Great for the price. Recommend it!
