Overall was okay but quality of the hotel was not good for the price paid.

The hotel's Ice machine was broken for the entire week we stayed. Certain amenities wasn't available in the room . For example the internet , we had to walk down into the lobby every time we needed to use the internet.

The amenties in this hotel is very poor. This is a 2 star hotel. There was no microwaves in the room. The hotel didn't even have ice. The machine has been broken for 2 months. we had a water leak and the staff didn't check on it until the next day. Needs lots of work

We stay in the "Villa Lutece Port Royal" for seven nigths and the experience was great. Nice Place, friendly staff, aceptable location. Clean and safe no complaints at all.

The staff we encountered here were so kind and helpful. The breakfast room was charming and the coffee outrageous! The hotel is away from all the hubbub of Paris but in walking distance to the Seine, Ile de la Cite and the Metro is around the corner. Our room was clean, but in need of some repair and updating. There was only one window, so it was warm during the day. There is a large homeless contingent that congregates on the main Boulevard, but we weren't bothered at all. All in all, we had a very pleasnt stay!

The room is small & bed is narrow too. It lacks sufficient lighting, and feel dark in the evening.

The Orbitz experience was excellent. No problems. The hotel was good, BUT it is not a four star hotel as they advertise. It is a three starr. It shows wear and I fixed a couple small items. The staff was usually very helpful. The breakfast at 14.50 euro is very poor and the one hot egg dish tasted bad to us. The glasses of wine we purchased one night were sour. I've had better free breakfasts. I would try a different hotel next time. Thanks for asking.

This hotel was conveniently located near the home of friends whom we were visiting in Paris. Although the hotel doors are somewhat fortress-like, the interior is contemporary, with interesting designer decor. The staff were all friendly, helpful and multilingual.

I had seen some good AND pretty bad reviews on this hotel before we left. I wasn't sure what to expect when we got there. I have to say, I was WAY more than pleased with it. This was my 4th trip to Europe, and was by FAR the biggest and best room I've ever had at any hotel in Europe. Thing was 2 stories and HUGE. Downstairs had a toilet, a separate bathroom with a large tub/shower combo, 2 sinks, a bidet, and a very large shower stall. Upstairs was huge, the queen bed didn't even begin to fill it up. Nor did my daughters twin bed even fill her part of the room. Had a TV and a wall closet/storage unit, with bookshelves etc, and STILL we had TONS of room to walk around. Very clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was GREAT. 1/2 block from the subway stop, and there were 3 grocery stores within 1/4 block of it, along with bakery, banks, and food places. I was MORE than pleased with this hotel. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. We were there a week + 1 day and NO complaints about service, room or anything. Staff helped us get transportation to the airport, and was very helpful with any questions I had. Wife and daughter loved it a lot also!

Small room, really small room! It was fine for me I was only staying for about 5 days and didn't eat there or stay there much as I was out sight seeing! Bed was really firm, and bathroom was really really tiny! But it was clean and very close to 2 good metro lines that brought you to every major attraction! You can probably do better, but if not its better that alot of others I've stayed at!

Excellent location. Close to nice restaurants, bakeries, subway. Room was comfortable but very small by U.S. standards. The price was very good considering the location. Overall, I would recommend it mainly based on the price. But if paying another $60-75 per night is not a concern, then there are better hotels.

Sight seeing, visiting friends, shopping

The hotel was interesting, and I felt the neighborhood was very safe. The staff, especially in the evening, were rude. I was concerned about the lack of smoke detectors and sprinklers; when I asked if there were in fact smoke detectors I was told not to worry, there would be alot of noise in the event of a fire, not exactly a reassuring answer. When I asked about an airport shuttle, I was told one price, then another, and my daughter a third price, all for the same trip. The shuttle was called for one half earlier than I asked, and when I mentioned that the time was not what was requested, was told that it could not be changed. I had the distinct impression that the gentleman at the front desk after 5:00 felt he was being bothered by the fact that the hotel had customers.

Spent 3 days in Paris. This hotel is not in the tourist section of Paris. Easy access to the Metro only 2 block walk or so.... Staff were pleasant. Would recommend to friends.

This is a THREE star at best. It is in the middle of nowhere, nothing is within walking distance. The building is so insignificant I walked past it twice. The decor is psychodellic- really unpleasant. It is new and clean, but as I said if you are looking for standard of one of the hotels in the Louvres area, this is not it. When I was there the elevator broke down, which made accessing the third floor great fun. The problem was met with typical gallic insousiance and nothing was done about it.

Very good deal for Paris. Just away from the action but conveniently located near Metro and just 15 min walk to Latin Quarter. Very small, but overall clean, except the molding on the floor rug by the bathroom.

The hotel is definitely not a 4 star, i would say more like a 2 star, 3 star at most. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and there were clearly people smoking in other rooms. The bathroom is very weirdly laid out, when you take a shower the entire floor gets wet because there is not a screen to protect the water. The hallways have a musty smell and the concierge is a camera room that is visible to anyone to see and did not seem safe. Double beds mean 2 twin beds pushed together.

Decent for the price. Do not expect 4 or 5 star service. Rita and Sultana in the front desk (day receptionist) are very nice but, dont expect "concierge" type service. The night staff will not help. This location is close to the Metro (take the Metro!!!). Also note that, if they call you a taxi there is a 10 euro charge with the taxi. All in all, decent and clean for a weekend stay.

The hotel is not very centric, but a very short walk from 2 metro stations that take you anywhere you want. There is a charge at the end of your stay for taxes so prepare for that. The front desk was nice and spoke english. The rooms were clean. After spending an entire day surrounded by tourists it was nice to go "home" to a quieter place.

This hotel is a great option[...] The rooms may be small, but when you're there to see the city, it doesn't matter if your room is small. We had plenty of space for anything we needed to store or do. To get to the closest metro, turn right out of the front door, go left at the intersection, and then cross the street not even one full block down for the Campo Formio stop on line 5. It doesn't get too much easier for this price. The neighborhood was bright and open, felt very safe. The hotel interior is lovely to look at, which doesn't hurt. The staff was always welcoming and friendly, and appreciated even our poor attempts to speak French. We were able to store our baggage safely on our last day and and pick it up in the evening. Only drawback- it was very warm inside, perhaps the cooling system was broken? Opening the window solved the problem! Highly recommend!!
