This was one of a relatively few hotels who had a room for four people and that made it a good value overall. The location was good. Had to walk a bit to get to nearest subway or bus. But it was clean, comfortable, and had a great staff. Google has a tendency to confuse this hotel (Suede) with another similarly named hotel down the street and we went to the wrong hotel first. Be aware. It was a good place to launch our daily activities from. Only two complaints are that the shower isn't properly curtained (common problem in Europe) and that the breakfast is not included and is a bit overpriced.

The hotel rooms are very small, - but clean. Wi-Fi service is a complete disaster - barely works which was extremely frustrating. Hotel is close to Metro -which was convenient. Staff was overall okay, depending on who you spoke with. No frills at all but clean.

It was short and pleasant. I like the location Bc it was safe. It was located by the ministers building. Lots of security cameras. Lots of diners located nearby. I had a great view of the park behind the hotel room. Bathroom was newly renovated and nice. The rooms however, are pretty vintage I guess you can expect that in a city that has a lot of history. Overall, good price for room compared to other hotels.

The hotel is located in the somewhat artsy district. It is a few blocks from the Musee D'Orsay. There are two trainstations and two marts a few blocks down in opposite directions (for different lines). Don't expect to see too many bars or nightlife here.

A nice little hotel tucked into the shadow of les Invalides and St Germain de Pres. Staff is super helpful and courteous, room was clean and cozy. Bathrooms have been renovated recently and are nice and clean. I would definitely stay again. The location and the quiet atmosphere means you can stay out late and sleep in and still see lots the next day.

Our room was small with a nice bathroom. It is on a quiet street, but near streets with restaurants and shopping. A 20 minute walk takes you to sights along the Seine or to the heart of the Left Bank. The buffet breakfast is generous (if pricey) with a lot of choices and excellent breads. The front desk attendants were friendly and helpful. Yes, it seemed a little expensive, but it was tourist season.

The hotel wasn't terrible. It was hot outside and they didn't have the AC on yet, but it was early March so that was somewhat understandable. The rooms were clean and what you could expect from a European hotel. The location was tough. It was a 30 minute walk to anything worth seeing (I'm in my 20s and walk pretty quickly). On the plus side, it was right between the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame/the Lourve. Even if you wanted to take the metro, it was a 10 minute walk to the metro, so it just made more sense to walk the extra 15-20 minutes to the attractions. For the price, you may as well find a hotel closer to some attractions rather than being stuck in the middle of nowhere, at least from a tourist's perspective.

Small room but good enough space for a couple. Great water pressure. Cafe, tabacco, and small corner store close, but they close early like most things in the area, so grab water or snacks before coming home for the night. 5 - 8 blocks from 3 different metros is good. 10 blocks maybe to St germain where you can find open things till 1am. Walked to eiffel tower easily, 20 minutes if you're not slow.

This is our third stay here and we will continue to use it because of its location and ease of use. 13 euros for breakfast was more than we wanted to spend so a short walk around the corner on Rue Babylon to a boulangerie provided croissants, and coffee for 7 euros for my wife and I. Their shuttle van option at 18 euros each is a nice option to get back to Charles de Gaul airport and takes about 15 minutes longer since they pick up others from surrounding hotels.

The hotel is very nice. They had the heat turned on for the fall, but it was in the high 70s outside.

The Hotel De Suede St. Germain is located in a wonderful area on a very quiet street. It is a long four block walk to the Musee D'Orsay and also walking distance from the Louvre, Tour D'Eiffel and other attractions. Many Metro connections are nearby and lots of nice cafes and restaurants are within a few blocks of the hotel. The staff was so helpful and patient, providing excellent service. The hotel breakfast was lovely. The downside is that the room was so small that we had to walk sideways to get in the door and to pass into the bathroom! But, we are big Americans and used to big hotel rooms. While in Paris you only need your hotel room for sleeping anyway so it's a small concern, The bathroom was brand new. The room was kept very clean. And if you really feel claustrophobic, there is a lovely courtyard outdoors for sitting. Nice hotel.

Beware of booking a standard room at this hotel! Not all rooms have windows. The area did not feel comfortable and the room are small.

great location in a quiet area. ten minute walk to three metro stations. Restraunts were sveral blocks away. Hotel didnt give you a neighbor feel as some areas do , but it was a nice stay. Down side was the AC didnt work , we had to open the window to stay cool. Asked someone to check on it , but they never did, luckily it was may. Staff was very nice.

Hotel well located, nice staff, good value for price paid, the bathtub seemed to be clogged every day.

The hotel was wonderful and suited our needs for a place as a base for sightseeing in Paris. The hotel is near metro and bus stops, and within walking distance to bistros and stores. The room was small but adequate and very clean. The staff was wonderfully accomodating and helpful to first-time visitors to Paris. We rate the hotel highly and would stay there again.

Location in a quiet residential neighborhood requiring only a two block walk to buses and shops plus an attractive appearance in both main lobby/breakfast area and bedrooms make this a very appealing choice. The friendly desk staff went out of their way to help with map explanations, phone calls, and airport transportation. Paris hotels are expensive but I felt this was very fair.

Nothing fancy, just a nice place in the right location for me. Comfortable and friendly.

Our buffet breakfast is international and is a made from quality food and beverages which explains its price of 13 €.
