This was our second visit and in the interim it had been renovated. The rooms are compact but very clean and well decorated. The bathroom was super clean and the shower was fabulous. A good night’s sleep was had by all as the beds were comfy and it’s very quiet at night. Breakfast was good value with a choice of delicious fruit salad, yoghurts, breads, cheeses etc. The best thing was the staff, nothing was too much trouble. Specifically the two people on night reception were super friendly and the man who organised the breakfast room. He even went around the room offering us all fresh warm baguettes. We will definitely return.

Wifey has never seen Paris, so our 24th Anniversary fit the bill. I booked our Paris-Eurostar-London whirlwind through Virgin Vacations. We chose this Timhotel (6 in Paris) because of good location and reasonable rates. We were able to take the #310 Bus from CDG Airport to within 2 blocks of Hotel. Plenty of Yelp rated restaurants in the area. We like to walk and learned how to use the Metro. Hotel room was small, but expected. Compact contemporary layout. Windows and walls were insulated and NEVER heard any neighbors or the elevator next door. Breakfast was a highlight with a nice selection of pastries, cheese, ham, yogurts, and coffee. They even had a pot of hot milk for my cafe au lait! Service at the Desk and at Breakfast was warm and professional. We will return!

This hotel is in a great location just 10 minutes walk from gare de nord. The rooms aren’t fancy but beds are very comfortable, shower good and I liked the fact you could open the windows (we were in a back facing room so was very quiet at night, the surrounding streets were very quiet at night). There was a very good choice of restaurants close by ,hotel staff were very helpful , I left my purse in my room when we vacated the room but it was safely returned when we came back for our bags later in the afternoon. The hotel is in a perfect location to visit all of Paris’s top sights,I would definitely return.

Rooms very small Very rough/dodgy area Breakfast with limited choice Television remote didn't work Television only had a limited amount of working channels Lock didn't work on the room door or in the bathroom Only one English television channel which was the euro news No plug in the bathroom sink so had to keep the tap running in order to wash your face Shower was unpredictable Towels were too small for use Wind whistled through the gaps in the window pane even though the window was shut Wouldn't stay again as we felt genuinely uncomfortable and unsure of our safety on a night However, the stay was average and we had a good time at Disneyland and around the main area of Paris Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, who offer sensible and useful advice for a family visiting Paris for the first time. Good breakfast selection. Amenities such as shops, restaurants and train station nearby. The people who live and work around the hotel are friendly and most speak English. At night the area is quiet so we got many good nights sleeps.

The hotel is very close to the railway station Gare de l'Est. Perfect for people arriving by train. The room was very small but nicely furnished. Nice little shower too but shower to small I think for overweight people. According to the hotel description, there should be a safe in the room. There wasn't! The hotel staff told me that the safe hadn't been installed yet and that it will be done later. This seemed very unlikely because there was really no more space in the room for it. Good internet connection. Friendly staff.

Timhotel is a well located basic hotel -just 150 metres from Paris’s Gare de l’Est station, and a 12 minute walk from Gare du Nord. There are a number of small restaurants and cafes nearby. The rooms are quite small- which is typically standard for hotels in central Paris. A lot of the rooms have been refurbished of late and are therefore modern and comfortable. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. It is best to request a room at the back of the hotel as the road at the front is busy all day and night and therefore one is unable to leave the window open due to the heavy noise. If you are looking for a reasonably centrally located hotel near a metro station this is a good option.

I don't feel good here- On fourth floor with no lift as it had bags of builders materials holding it open on renovations floor. No air conditioning in our fourth floor room and it's hot outside! Stairs are covered in decorators paper and masking tape so no visible edges and dangerous as NO EMERGENCY LIGHTING! My partner is registered blind and walks with a stick. NIGHTMARE HOTEL- they just tell us that it will be fixed in an hour- it's 22.00 and this was hours ago

I have stayed here 3 times now, the hotel is clean and comfortable and very quiet at night. Opposite a pretty park and a short walk from the canal and lots of bars and restaurants. The staff are helpful ,, good choice for breakfast and a very central location, easy to get to from the Gare du Nord and walking distance to a lot of the sights. I will keep using this hotel for my trips as its such a perfect location.

We booked our family vacation through a travel agency and this hotel was an upgrade What a complete waste of money ! Location there is nothing close to this hotel that a tourist would ever want to see You will spend all of your money on taxis to see Paris Our rooms Size. The room is so small that only one of us can open our suit case at a time If both of us do then you cannot move or walk The bathroom is even smaller. Phone booths are bigger and roomier The shower is so small that a normal size person would have a hard time turning around in the shower without opening the shower door Finally the Air conditioner Paris was 85 degrees and our room was just as warm if. Not warmer. We called the front desk twice and they told us it was fine At night time it was cooler outside We couldn't open the windows because we were street side and the noise was to loud to sleep and even if it were quiet the LARGE BRIGHT hotel sign was right out side our window By the way the sign is probably larger than our shower !! Conclusion I WOUKD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE !!
