Perfect for family of four

We enjoyed staying here and the location was perfect for us. The apartment is beautiful and large enough for family of four to be very comfortable. I especially appreciated the washer and dryer. The only drawbacks were street noise, which cannot be helped, and the shower mechanism had an issue. But really a beautiful place and a very responsive host. I would love to stay there again.

Beautiful apartment in great location

We had everything we needed at Régis’s lovely apartment for two adults and a teenager. Loved the neighborhood! Close to several metro stations so we were able to get around the city pretty easily. We were there during a heatwave, so some of the trains and buses were sweltering — bring a handheld fan if you can. The apartment is on a busy street so we had to keep windows closed at night, which was hot but doable. Unorthodox Bakery, right around the corner, has great pastries and coffee. Régis was very responsive to any questions we had. We loved our first time in Paris — thank you for the use of your gorgeous place!

Comfortable and sophisticated

My husband, my 12 year old daughter and I had a nice week is this lovely apartment. Was nice to come home to every day after a busy day in and around Paris. Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Felt very safe in the neighborhood and flat. Enjoyed nearby restaurants, cafes and shopping. Bus stops on the block, several metro stops 6-10 min walk. Charming Apartment in Great Neighborhood

We loved our stay in Paris! The apartment has classic Parisian charm and everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We are 4 adults and had plenty of room. The metro is a quick walk away, as are restaurants, cafes and a boulangerie. Our host was very helpful and kind, too. Merci, Regis!

Nice stay in the 17th

We had a nice stay at this property. We were a short walk (5-8 minutes) from the metro, so easy access to Paris. Several nice restaurants in the area. Nearby a bakery with wonderful croissants. Hardwood floors throughout that were a bit squeaky. One bathroom had only a shower/sink. The other bathroom was only a toilet. Those were our only complaints with the apartment Bedrooms overlook the boulevard and it was a bit noisy. For the most part we were able to block that out. Would stay again.

DO NOT STAY HERE NO MATTER WHAT

Regis the host never showed his face .. phone calls yes . No one ever did a walk thru with us .. to see if everything was in good condition .. it wasn’t Oven didn’t work , tv didn’t work (Regis asked if I would hook a new TV .. took 1+ hr. so we missed a dinner Resv. Bathroom sink is about to collapse house book in French only , toilet seat was broken . Told us to fix it or get a plumber .the linens were very old and didn’t smell good . DO NOT EVER THINK ABOUT STAYING THERE !!! You”ll be VERY sorry

A true experience of living in Paris

We spent two weeks here with our granddaughters aged 21and23. We all loved it! Great hosts Régis and Christiane and lovely decorated Parisian apartment. The neighborhood is fantastic! Many good restaurants in short walking distance nearby. And a Patisserie around the corner for morning croissants and baguettes! And fruit tartes!! This is a "find" on VRBO!

The apartment was very bright and welcoming. Very well stocked for cooking utensils, linens, etc. Felt like a home. Spent 2 weeks by myself and had each adult child come for one week; all enjoyed the property. Location was excellent; two metro lines within 12 minutes of walking distance from apartment. Bus line literally across the street. Had some questions about appliances and received text responses quickly. Felt very safe in this location due to lock on building exterior door, lock on interior lobby door and lock on apartment door. Highly recommend this property.

Charming Parisian Apartment

Apartment provides all the amenities (well stocked kitchen for cooking, washer/dryer, comfortable bedding and even converter plugs!) for a comfortable stay. Regis met us upon arrival and provided an overview of the property as well as helpful hints on navigating the area. The weather was warm during our visit but opening windows provided a nice cross breeze. As a Texan, I kept wanting to turn on a fan. However, I would still highly recommend this apartment for a great stay.

Great Parisian Experience

The place was exactly as explained on the website and more. We really enjoyed the location - food, transportation access, shopping. Spacious apartment in a residential area

Very large, typical Haussmann-style apartment, quite a way from the touristic center but close to several Metro lines. Quiet and sunny. I was in town on business, and this worked fine — speedy internet. Super clean, with several grocery stores, patisseries, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. nearby. It’s nice to have a washer and dryer if you’re visiting for more than a few days. Recommended.

New Year 2022 in Paris

Everything was great. Loved the location - great local shops for food and baked goods, 2 bus lines (across the street and around the corner) plus a nearby metro stop, Parc Monceau and less hectic and noisy than past stays in Montmartre, Marais and the left bank. Apartment was spacious and comfortable retreat after a day about the city. The 17th has much to recommend it and a meal at Coretta was absolutely fabulous. I recommend this apartment for people who are not first time visitors to Paris and want to explore the less touristy parts of the city and have a nice retreat to come back to at the end of the day.

Wonderful week in October

We stayed a week in Paris and our stay at the property was great. The apartment was spacious for four adults comparing with other properties in the city, and it was great to relax with privacy of two bedrooms after long days of walking. It felt truly Parisian with decor, building, neighborhood, and it is very safe, clean and beautiful area. The building has modern elevator, which was great since its on the third floor. The owners are wonderful and overall we highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to explore Paris from ‘local’ perspective.

Family holiday in Paris

“In an old house in Paris”...lines from the Madeline story kept going through our minds as we stayed a week in this delightful flat in Paris. It was perfect for our family of four, and we loved the surrounding neighborhood which felt family friendly and safe. The apartment is appointed in beautiful furniture, art and ceramics and feels like a very special home. There were plenty of clean towels and the beds were comfortable. It is close to Metro lines (Wagram) and bus lines (20) and walkable to Arc D’ Triumphe. There is an amazing bakery just around the corner and plenty of good eats nearby (We loved Gabrielle) Although it took some time for us to navigate our way to major sites, it felt wonderful to get away from the more touristed areas of central Paris. Regis was easy to communicate with and met us on our arrival to show us around the apartment. He was accessible, gracious and welcoming. Highly recommend this lovely flat.
