Disappointing

Booked deluxe room and was very small. Tiles on bathroom floor moved underfoot. Breakfast staff rude and unhelpful. Asked for an extra crème for coffee, no sign of it. Disappointing stay for the cost !!!

Good Hotel

Stay was good. It’s a nice hotel, it’s the cleanest building in the area. The quality was just OK. Very thin towels, no iron in the room, no closet. The fire alarm went off a few times. The roof top is great. Great service. It’s a 10 min walk to Metro 13 which connects you to all the tourist stops. I do not recommended walking in the area at night or after 8pm. They did charge us extra euros for a late check out.

A Very Enjoyable Stay.

This is a very nice Hotel. We upgraded to a Suite Type Room, which was really spacious. I can’t comment on the Standard Rooms. The Hotel was very clean and quite close to the Metro.

There was a street market 2 blocks before the hotel main door. It was impossible to walk on the sidewalk so we had to take the street. 2 of the merchants were fighting, which pushed all people around towards us. Cars passing by nearly hit us. There was no soap or shampoo in the room, we asked for it and never got it.

This would be a great 3 star hotel, but definitely not a 4 star hotel. The area is very poor, with lots of homeless people on the streets, and refugees, and people with mental health problems. Lots of graffiti and litter too. It does not reflect well on the local government of Paris more generally.

Photos of the proper are deceiving. The hotel staff was friendly as well as the Kitchen staff on the main floor. The 8th floor bar had limited choices. The glass water container was full of stains and particles. Do not order the onion fritters from the 8th floor. They were overcooked and burnt. The manager refused to recook or substitute the item. The only option was to pay for burnt food. We never received our drink orders and left frustrated, disappointed and likely never to return. There is no where to upload photos. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Customer service and being treated like you matter is important to everyone.
