i went here a few years ago when it was still a 4star hotel, not sure if it still is i heard its becoming 5star it well deserves it as staff are really nice, the location however is the best. Its a great place to stay if you are visiting disney land paris as its only a 5min drive also it has a huge supermarket behind; there are also lots of little shops near by as well and lots of places to eat. the breakfast was also really good there. Only downside is that i didn't get to explore much of the hotel due lot shortage of time.
We stayed here to be close proximity to Disneyland and we weren’t disappointed. We stayed in a split level suite which was really nice. We had a warm welcome and continuous great service.....my only downside was breakfast, it was okay, but I was expecting a lot better for Paris. Being able to dash to the mall and supermarket made it less painful. The free limo and shuttle service made moving around do simple. I will definitely visit again. The nice hotel was the icing on the cake for a great vacation.
So we stayed at the Relais hotel & Spa for 4 nights with the primary objective of visiting Disneyland for a few days as well as a day in Paris for Disneyland this hotel is pretty perfect I’ve stayed onsite before at Disney in the New York hotel and honestly I’d stay at this hotel over that one any day of the week and here’s why #1. Location - now I know what you’re thinking, it’s not as close to the parks as onsite hotels and you’d be right but the hotel offers free on demand taxi transfers to the park between 8am and 11pm which took 3 1/2 minutes (yes I timed it) and if you want to eat out, grab something from the super market, grab a cheap bite from the patisserie you have all these facilities within a stones throw of the hotel which as a northerner I much prefer to paying way over the odds in the Disney Village for mediocre food! #2. Rooms - we went for the junior suite and it was great, over double the size of our room at Disney and it had an amazing super king bed, full bath and shower and two toilets one in the main bathroom the other just off the entrance corridor, living area with sofa bed, table and chairs, huge floor space and kitchen which even had a dishwasher, hob, fridge and microwave so we were well equipped to self cater if we wanted to plus we got a balcony and the room was a great standard very worthy of every one of those 4 stars #3. The facilities, the spa and pool in particular were superb only real downside is they’re for adults only 18+ But hey the kids get enough already 😉 and the staff were superb genuinely couldn’t do enough for you and always super friendly. #4 Value - it's a no brainier I could of visited this hotel for 4 trips before it was the same price as the Disneyland Hotel and I get the location is better but the standards are not really any higher and I know I’d rather have the 4 trips than the one!! It’s location to Paris is about 40 mins which was really easy 1 direct train from the RER station which was a 60!second walk from the hotel so also very easy to access. Still looking for cons but so far not really found any, the food and drinks onsite were a bit pricey but the same as any 4* hotel to be fair and there were loads of better priced choices on your doorstep the pub round the corner did happy hour 5-9pm and pinky’s were €3.50 which if you’ve stayed in or around Paris before is pretty amazing 👍
Hotel This hotel is thoroughly well maintained throughout with neutral colours bright, extremely clean and modern. A spacious, welcoming reception area, modern surroundings with comfortable seating areas. Reception staff were very professional and attentive. Bar is also very modern and well maintained. This was our first visit to Relais Spa Hotel, Val D’Europe for a 3 night stay and we will definitely return! Concierge I emailed hotel in advance as it was our daughter’s 18th Birthday. I pre-ordered a Birthday cake through them, most extremely courteous, professional and friendly concierge! Also, through the most helpful concierge we arranged pickup to and from airport to hotel. The drivers were very pleasant and helpful. We had booked a junior suite and were upgraded to an Executive Suite. We travelled with my brother and his family and another group of friends who had junior suites, they were definitely more compact and smaller with one bathroom but it was sufficient and they were pleased with their suites. Executive Suite The suite had a small corridor with a small kitchenette with dishwasher, fridge, microwave and was extremely clean. Also off this corridor, was a second bathroom with great shower, modern decor and extremely clean. Having a second bathroom was such an added bonus for us! With three adults and a fourteen year old showering. Open the door into the living room with a large flatscreen tv and a comfortable pull out sofa bed, also table and chairs. Sliding doors open into into a separate bedroom with an extremely comfortable king size bed with small tv, good size en-suite with bath/shower, hair dryer. Good storage space and in-room safe, another bonus. Robes and slippers provided. The little blue night lights are great at bedtime. The executive suite was superb, good size with nicely designed curtains opening on to small balcony which we enjoyed to open and let some fresh air in. Spotlessly clean. Modern and Spacious and bright, nicely decorated Our day was made even more extra special, when we opened the living room door to find a nicely decorated table, with 18th birthday sweet treats for our daughter, which brought a smile to us all! Sincere thank you to staff for this! Breakfast Area The breakfast area is very nice, comfortable and clean, we always found something to eat. Shuttle Service We used the complimentary shuttle bus to Disney (5 minutes or less drive away). Great service. We have been to Disney World Florida many times, and were a bit anxious about it not being as good but we all extremely enjoyed both parks at Disneyland Paris!! Would definitely return. Only ate crisps and coffee here so can’t comment on food. But my Brother and family ate here and said it was a bit expensive and not really great food. Surrounding Area The area around outside hotel felt safe and clean. Just around the corner from hotel, a few minutes walk are various restaurants and some bars. We always ate out, as we didn’t have time to eat dinner at hotel or make use of the luxurious spa, which looked amazing, hopefully next time! Also just a few mins walk from hotel is the RER train station which we took to visit Paris, probably about 50 mins, we bought a train/tram/bus day pass to visit the sights, we only used the trains which were very convenient and operated until 2am! Paris, just Wow!!! Beautiful, monumental, fantastic city, well worth a visit! About five minutes walk to Val D’Europe Huge Shopping Centre which I would have loved to have had more time to shop in! Also food court area and supermarket, many shops within. Just outside, Val D’Europe shopping Centre - (I think it’s just past Factory & Co exit), you walk into ‘La Valée Village’. Definitely worth a visit! Many designer shops including Armani, Boss, Ralph Lauren Polo, Tommy Hilfiger, Ted Baker, Timberland, Michael Kors, Valentino, Versace, Prada and many more! Some very expensive but also lots of sale items. Just wish I had have had more time here! Hotel Staff The staff are a credit to this hotel they have such a professional manner which must be commended. Nothing was too much trouble! Anything we asked for, we received quickly and they were always ready to assist, very approachable, helpful and friendly. Please accept our gratitude to the professional members of the concierge, Xavier (I did not get the rest of their names) for their speedy and efficient service! Reception, restaurant, concierge and all the staff, cleaners (I needed some extra water bottles and shampoo, they stopped what they were doing and immediately gave me them to me) the staff here are professional with superlative skills, a credit to this fabulous hotel, their attitude towards their work is on a completely different level. Overall excellent service, very helpful, courteous and friendly staff. The service and staff were absolutely outstanding! This is definitely one of the better hotels we have stayed at. Would highly recommend this hotel and have already recommended it to other family members and friends. We will most definitely return, already looking at dates to return! Thank you, Relais Spa Hotel, Val D’Europe!!!!!!
We chose the Relais Spa Val D'Europe pretty much based on its location, close to Disneyland Paris of course. We arrived early afternoon and found the hotel really easily, pretty much straight outside the train station, you couldn't get it wrong. We arrived, checked in and went to our room. It was big, clean and bright with a balcony and kitchenette. It was exactly what we would need for our 3 night stay whilst visiting DLP. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the park all day up until 11pm, this was a huge help and definitely worth it. The drivers were great, very friendly, a fantastic little addition to our stay. Definitely recommend this hotel based on location, comfort and reasonable price. Its also located really close to the station and the local shopping village. The shopping village is great, lots of shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again. :)
Very nice hotel and great experience. Location: They are about 2 blocks from the train station so it's very convenient to get to by train. We took the train from city center with luggage and it was about a 40-minute ride. The hotel has a spa that I didn't get to try as I was here to go to Disneyland Paris and my stay was very short. Staff: We were greeted immediately upon walking through the front turnstiles with a very friendly hello (in French). The gentleman at the front desk confirmed our reservations and checked us in pretty quickly. He gave us all the relevant information about the hotel, restaurant and breakfast (that was included in the reservation we booked). He even offered to help us make a reservation at the restaurant for dinner if we were hungry but we politely declined. I had an issue the next morning as I couldn't figure out how to undo the deadbolt on the door so my room door wouldn't close from the outside. I ended up calling the front desk for help and they immediately sent someone up to show me how to undo the deadbolt setting (which was to turn the door handle from the inside, downwards quickly). I wasn't the only one having the issue as I saw another couple trying to figure that out the next day and my friend had the same problem but somehow figured it out on her own. Hotel: The rooms are really big for France. I was surprised. They're more like mini apartments since you have an entryway with a kitchenette. The kitchenette comes with a small stove, sink, mini-fridge, and dishes for you to make your own food if you wanted to. The bathroom and the room itself was quite large overall. It was almost as if I was in a hotel in the US. The room was also very clean and well maintained. It looked pretty new and modern. The room also had a pretty big closet and what my friend called the 'Harry Potter secret door' closet; it was another door to the other side of the closet that one wouldn't know was a closet unless you happened to stumble upon it. The king bed was super comfortable. There is a free shuttle that will take you to the Disneyland Parks. It starts at 8:30 in the morning (when parks open at 9). It's by request at the concierge. When they drop you off, they give you a card with their phone number so you can call them to come pick you up. When I called them from the park, it took them about 5 minutes to arrive. It's very convenient. There's also a mall and an outlet within walking distance of the hotel. I would absolutely stay here again.
Excellent place to stay if you want to visit Disneyland. They even offer a free shuttle service. It's only about 3 minutes away from the station and the mall. I stayed here for more than 3 weeks for business purposes. Therefore, I could gain a good experience in the food, hospitality, and service. The room I stayed in was comfortable, with a queen size bed, quite enough storage, clean bathroom and one very small kitchen area with a fridge, a microwave and a dishwasher. I even requested for an iron as my stay was longer. All these were offered free of charge. Service: Average The reception area was quaint and attentive though the room service was not that efficient. While a moderate cleaning takes place every day the change of bed sheets and pillows sometimes takes longer than a week and a half! I sometimes had to keep reminding the janitors to clean my room. The laundry area is available for customers to be used with a fee. Food: Average Food was nothing spectacular. Just the normal buffet you find anywhere. And the repetition can bore you after about 1 week stay. Spa: Plenty of options Depending on the option you selected, this experience can vary. Overall, this was a pleasant experience.
We stayed here as it's close to disney and provided a free shuttle. The hotel is beautiful we were really impressed. The staff couldn't do enough for you and were really attentive. The concierge was helpful with arranging the shuttle it was on-demand so within 5 mins of requesting it you were on your way to disney. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was perfect for us as we were travelling with an infant so the kitchenette was a must for us for preparing baby food/bottles. The rooms were clean and for the time we stayed in the rooms which was literally just to sleep on a night we were happy. My only disappointments were: The travel cots were absolutely filthy to the point we could't let our baby sleep in it so he slept in bed with us, luckily it was a huge bed. I think it's definitely time they invest in some new travel cots especially when being used for young infants who pick up everything! A couple of our towels had holes/stains but we had 4 each day so just used the ones that were OK The milk wasn't replaced by daily housekeeping for the time we were there so we got 1 cup of tea on the first morning but that was it. The hotel was on a main street so it was quite noisy on a night with people shouting/cars racing past but we were on the 1st floor you probably wouldn't have heard it higher up. We were so busy with Disney getting back so late on a night we didn't have time to flag this stuff to reception and it didn't really affect our trip, just something to keep in mind
We booked this as the second half of a week long break in France. Reception was modern and efficient. Room was very nice. Huge bed and plenty of storage. There was a small kitchenette area in the room with fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Safe was free to use if required. Spa was very nice, with a pool, a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Plenty of pay for options as well. Just remember that trunks not shorts are required for gents, and they sell them at the Spa. Breakfast was usual continental fare. We did use the restaurant one night - nothing wonderful - service was a bit patchy, and food was just ok. The bar staff were very friendly. We did complain about the electronic house music, which we were told was to attract the after work young crowd.....none of whom were there. We were being told this was being addressed as part of a review. Nearby there are a few restaurants and the big shopping centre. The hotel runs a free shuttle to and from the Disney all day which is very handy.
Amazing hotel. Staff was very attentive. Very very clean. Only downfall was the 2 twin beds. However, it didn’t detract from the experience. Hotel was in the middle of a lot of eateries, a mall and transportation. Not to mention, it’s a stop away from Disneyland Paris.
