It was fine thr kitchen had everything you could need The bed was comfortable but the pillows were old and the comforter was little to old. All of the cleaning products and mops and rags that were dirty were scattered about. The place could have been cleaner. However the host was wonderful and very helpful I would stay there again. If your looking for a safe comfortable, clean place this is it, not fancy , could use a little handy work. However the kindness of the owner more than makes up for any quirks. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Enjoyed the stay

We stayed three nights and enjoyed it. The location is good. Good distance to walk to most places. If you want to take Public transport, it’s few minutes walk. Very good local bakery shops and supermarkets are nearby. The owners gave lots of useful information and we found the place without any problem. The natural history museum is only 20min walk away. The Chinatown too.

an economical place

located in a pleasant area, easy to reach, I received detailed information on how to get in, a few metro stops nearby, a cafe, and supermarkets, and on Saturday there was also a fruit-vegetable market in the area.

Clean & Friendly

Definitely loved that the building had 24/7 security, close to the metro stop, and friendliest host. Arrived to watch the US in the Olympics and our host came up to our room and walked us through all of the maps and made sure we knew where everything was. Very appreciated. The metro is super accessible but it can take a bit to get places. Plan for at least a half hour to most places. Overall, great experience and would 10/10 recommend staying here. Can’t beat the cost.

Nice and safe location

I had a really good stay at this location. The area was extremely safe, close to both the trains and busses (just a few minutes walk) and places to buy food. There is even a laundry mat around the corner. The unit is well depicted by the pictures. It is a bit dated and some of the stuff is in rougher condition. The bed however was comfy and the place served its purpose for being somewhere safe to sleep while I visited Paris. The unit was clean, but needed to be dusted since there was dust on some of the fixtures that wouldn’t have been cleaned as frequently. I felt it was a bit cluttered (but that is just my personal opinion). The property manager was super easy to communicate with and responded quickly. When I booked, he was able to share details with me within a few hours so I knew exactly where I was staying and could plan accordingly. When I messaged him about the internet, he was quick to respond. Overall a great stay!

Affordable with Drawbacks

The apartment is cozy and only one block from the #6 metro line, so getting around is a breeze. There's also grocery shops nearby for any essentials. The price was the best feature of the apartment, and I enjoyed the affordability quite a bit. However, I will say that the kitchen and bathroom did not feel very clean or well taken care of. In addition, there was a washing machine in the pictures, which was a big part of the reason I booked this particular apartment, since I was staying for a week and wanted to do my own laundry. However, upon checkin there was no washing machine anymore, which was very disappointing. The host was warm and welcoming. I enjoyed chatting with him, and he gave me some great recommendations for getting around and for places to see. Overall I would book here again, but for those wanting the washing machine from the pictures, be warned.

Great little place , was able to use cookware to make and heat food from several nearby grocery stores. Could have used cookware tools such as wooden or silicone to not damage the non-stick cookware. WiFi did not work our whole stay. Hard to believe it was not fixed during our 3 day stay.

Small but comfortable

The studio was small but had enough room for two. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were functional. We cooked breakfast there and then left for the day only to return at night to sleep. Close to the Metro 6 line which takes about a half hour to get to most tourist sites. We were there for a week and were able to get to everything we wanted to see. Not a place you would want to spend the day in, but a great ‘home base’ to explore from, especially considering the cost.

The property is not 5 star hotel with furnishings. But an efficiency n clean apartment. I felt safe walking around the neighborhood n ate at local restaurants n did some laundry. Metro Line six is three blocks away to travel to the tourist sites. The owner was respectful and available when needed

Paris with a view!

We had a lovely stay. Mr Afifi was welcoming and gave a quick overview of the neighborhood upon our arrival. The apartment was perfect for the two of us and the view was amazing!!! It is easily accessible with two subway stations right nearby. Supermarket, pharmacy and a little cafe all right around the corner. There is a school nearby and the neighborhood felt very safe. Would definitely recommend!

Nice location

Mr Afifi has been very communicative and helpful. We didn’t have any issue during our stay. Location is great! Close to great Metro line and walking distance to touristic places (if you like walking like us!). Nice for 1 person or a couple. Apartment minimalist but everything you need to rest and have shower and have a coffee in a morning.

Lovely host but apartment needs updating

You will not find a kinder host than Mr. Afifi. He helped me with several requests and was thorough in his explanation of the apartment amenities. The location was near two metro stops and two large grocery stores. I had a hard time finding a good place for le petite dejeuner which is a nice part of my day usually. Although there is a boulangerie down the street they only offer to go service. It is not a quaint “Parisian” part of town. It’s a high rise and you look out on high rise buildings instead of the charming Haussmann buildings in other parts of Paris. If I stayed here again I would bring my own towel. The sheets and pillowcases were fresh smelling though. If the hosts would give the apartment a thorough deep cleaning, fix the peeling wallpaper and perhaps update some of the more ancient things it would be a more comfortable place to stay. That being said, it is Paris and where are you going to find so cheap a place and I was looking for cheap on this trip.

Small apartment on the 17th floor providing a good view of the cityscape. The space is cozy but could use some updating and a bit more attention to detail when cleaning. That being said, this was one of the lowest-cost options we could find within Paris for our stay. Host was very kind, offering many suggestions for things to do and how to get around. Things to do within walking distance include the Jardin Des Plantes, Emily in Paris shooting location, and La Felicita restaurant, among others. Beyond that, the location is well-connected to major attractions by public transportation, and the area felt safe walking around both day and night.

Fantastic

Property owner was extremely polite and helpful. The property was at a great location, away from a lot of the touristy crowds, but with a metro station only a block away we did not have trouble seeing everything we wanted to. Would absolutely stay again.
