The bathroom was beautiful and had a tub. We received slippers and soap. It was a wonderful room and nice and clean.
Location and the front desk was very nice. Wished there was an iron in the room...
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The amenities including in-room and breakfast were really good too! The hotel was having paint done on various floors and maybe new carpets were being put in on some floors too so that could have been better because there was plastic in places.
It's a small hotel, as it is a coustom in European hotels. The property was well taken care of and the rooms where well equipped and confortable. Staff was very attentive and helpful. It was also very central in reference to important landmarks suck as the Eiffel tower...

Friendly, accommodating staff, great room with very comfortable bed and nicely appointed furnishings. Loved the bathroom and shower!! Breakfast buffet was perfect, not super elaborate, but just enough of a selection of hot and cold items to help get the day started. The location is PERFECT--closed to the Eiffel Tower and the metro station is just around the corner. Very quiet location, with many choices for food and dining close by.
Awesome location, walking distance to all major tourist attractions, lots of great food around. I highly recommend. I got the flu while staying here and the staff was very helpful with giving us a late check out. Also, I apologize for the mess I may have created :)

Wonderful place ... so convenient and a beautiful place to stay
We stayed at Hotel Ares for a week and had a great experience. Every member of the staff was courteous, helpful, very friendly, patient with my remedial attempts to speak a little French, and a great resource for any questions we had. Our room, and the hotel itself, was exactly as the photos portray. I was prepared for a very tiny room (given normal room sizes in Paris), but was pleasantly surprised our Superior Queen room felt more spacious than expected. The bed and pillows were very comfortable; the room spotless every day; the towels were nice and large; we loved the towel warmer; the water pressure in the shower was great and we had plenty of hot water. Our room was on the 6th floor, and faced inside the courtyard - we did not hear any street noise at night at all. When we opened the balcony windows and the bathroom window, we had a really nice cross breeze. The heat worked very well and was easily controlled. We asked the hotel to coordinate a car for us upon arrival and it went very smoothly. There was a small refrigerator that we were able to keep fruit and yogurt in for breakfast. The afternoon tea offered by the hotel was a nice break after a long day of walking, and before dinner. I liked leaving our room key with the front desk when we left- I didn't worry about losing my key and felt very safe. We will definitely stay at Hotel Ares again. Hotel has easy access to metro and close to the Eiffel Tower. Rooms are really small even for Paris. Walls are super thin easy to hear other guest and noise. There was construction going on across the street allowed for easy morning wake ups. Staff wasn't the friendliest and weren't too helpful with easy questions.
Very nice staff, eager to please. My wife and I would stay there again. Breakfest is a little high in price, you can get a better deal on the street. Everything is right there, Segway Tour, Eiffel Tower, Big Bus. Easy to get to and in a safe area.
Place is clean and nicely decorated. It is close to the eiffel tower, bus stops, metro, restaurants, shops, and ATMs.
Excellent hotel. Great facilities, fancy bathroom, bed, and closet. Shower has a large rainforest shower head, which is welcomed in France. Very friendly waitstaff, used to dealing with English speakers, and eager to assist, including providing an umbrella to guests.
